Dare I say one if not the best Xinxia in the recent years or probably all time, excellent characters & love story, strong chemistry, marvellous CGI, interesting storytelling, great ending, I couldn't ask for more, I came from know nothing about the actors (non fans) to adore them from seeing their great acting, finally a Xinxia couple ♡ story worth to root & feel invested for 👏❤️
I don't understand the negative response for this drama tbh, this drama feels like a poem & only those who feel connected understood their beauty & can appreciate it. I like the complexity of the characters & different approach they take. Their OSTs, landscape, chemistry & directing also amazing, they stood out among other recently released drama to me. The one I look forward the most every week, I'm gonna miss it.

The leads shd be together & it's all make sense by ep 8. While SFL & SML is a good person, I hv no SLS coz the leads chemistry & love towards eachother are strong, they never bat an eye for other party but them eachother. I'm quite the opposite coz I hv less interest on the other but the leads, coz they've been/going through sm & deserve a better chance/ life together.

Right, as we get older we tends to get bitter from harsh life we suffered regardless idealism we hv from our youngerself, Kang Hee's behavior all make sense & Yeon Soo's too. It's a pity that some people may get too used to (/spoiled with) vanilla, cookie cutter leads character majority drama has, to be able to appreciate complex/flawed & real characters like the leads we have here.
There’s 4 episodes left but I hope it’s a happy one.
Ikr, after what they hv been through since they were kids, I couldn't think any better ending than the leads to be together & finally be free from all those toxic people, they deserve that & no less.

Not really, I like mistery thriller crime drama more but also heartwrenching drama showing flawed human make mistake and amend, those who can revoke your emotion better will last in memory more

I don't get the hate at all coz I love their complexity in characters & the overall tone whether it's their gorgeous color scheme, bittersweet loving moments, sizzling chemistry, nostalgic theme & wonderful OSTs. People may hate the characters's attitude but there's more than meets the eye & that's actually the beauty of this drama (this drama is my fav, the deeper one among all airing drama I watch).

Exactly, his and her behaviour all make sense w/ things they disclose on ep 8, their circumstances make them like that, they can't be together regardless they find eachother as soulmates, outsiders may label them as losers or toxic seeing their behaviour, but only Yeon Soo & Kang Hee understood what they actually meant for eachother.
Kang Hee's brain/ mind know they can't be together, but her heart has different mind, she neither able to forget nor move on from Yeon Soo coz every significant part of her life has Yeon Soo footprints in it, hence her wishy washy attitude, vice versa. That's the (bittersweet part) & beauty of this drama, sadly many already too eager to justify their hate since early ep instead of reserving their judgement & see where the characters are coming from/ wait for the revealation.
I actually like this drama show grey characters with complexity like Kang Hee & Yeon Soo and introduce reasonable issue for the couple to be together instead of going for clicheness (in which lots of kdrama suffer in the later part)

Nah, while SG is fun to watch but it doesn't make me feel all kind of feelings including shedding tears & couldn't wait for their next ep like when I watch MC
