Just because you don't think this drama deserves a ten doesn't mean this drama doesn't deserve a ten. It just means your criteria for a ten is different from those people who do think this drama deserves a ten. I rated this drama a ten because i like the drama and i didn't find the mother as annoying as most of those people here, and that just means everyone here watches drama for different reason. I come into this drama expecting a drama about a mother and daughter's relationship and that's what i got and having very likable leads so i'm content with my perfect 10 💕

They're just regular people, what do you mean making them look weak and gullible, both the parents are country people and i feel the drama is relatable with how things were depicted about the family and how as parents seeing their grown up children as still needing their present in their lives. From an asian perspective the idea of being respectful to your parents is a big deal in an asian society. The older generation are set in their way and they're very stubborn, this mom is showed to be too protective of her daughter as well as too stubborn to admit she's wrong, but she can still learn and admit her mistakes and willing to improve. Some don't and stay stucked in their toxic ways with the way they treated their own families.

Different audiences see differently i suppose. I like the mature themes of the drama and like both this drama and snow eagle lord. This is because i also like the genre, it reminds me of a videogame i played when i was younger ^^

I think xukai should be able to be himself when he's off work. And a fan that's put off because he doesn't always look his best is not a true fan anyway. Xukai will always be attractive to me whether he's clean shaven or not, i like him for his personality and his acting not just for his look. I hope in the future he can play many different roles and not afraid to be ugly as acting is the most important.

The grandma is yangzi character grandma through marriage to her grandfather on her father side. They got married later in life and have children from their previous marriage. The father doesn't have a close relation with his step mother because they don't spend much time together since he didn't approve of his father's marriage when he was still alive since it makes him embarrassed because they were being gossiped about by their neighbors.
