Good question, another drama of xukai just finished shooting a few months ago still only have three casts, i been asking the same question i think mdl don't do it themselves and is waiting for someone else to do it for them 😅

You're telling me the scene in the bathtub doesn't give you any feeling or the scene when mzy was kissing wz aggressively and marking her because he knew someone else was watching them? Who said they don't have chemistry, there wasn't any romance in the beginning causing many to be mistaken there is no chemistry between the leads and drop the drama, but most people who watch this drama love their chemistry.

I do agree with you they rush into marriage too fast but it's not totally their fault, they don't have the luxury of waiting to know each other better like modern day since fl has been pressure by her sister the queen to get marry since she is past marriage age that why she kept being introduce to men in order for her to pick the right one. Marriage don't always have to be for love, it can be for convienient or an arrange marriage between two strangers, the fl is very lucky that her family willing to let her pick the right man to get marry. Back to the topic i do think they were rushing their marriage due to her family pressure being she already past marriage age compare to most girls her age who would be force to marry base on their family arrangement rather than for love.

I was checking the bts of this drama when it was filmed and i didn't know there was any problem. I'm also hoping it was just jealous marketing and they follow the original script.

You're saying she should trust someone she knew only a short time when she didn't even trust her family whom she knew her whole life with her secret. I understood what you mean about trust, but it still take time to trust someone completely with your secret when that secret don't belong to you. In term of love their relationship only started once they gotten marry, both ml and fl have never been in love before and they were still new to love. No i think they will eventually tell each other their secret just not right away because they're still learning about each other so they still have to learn to trust each other. Even cp in real life don't tell each other everything until they learn to trust each other, i think that is for most relationship. The fl once she lost her memory still chose ml even though she forgot everyone else so she does trust him, the reason she didn't tell him was because of her responsibility as cat lord to protect the demon world.

You don't seem to understand the different between wanting to get marry and protecting a secret that don't belong to the both of them. All the example of dramas you made comparison to this drama has to do with humans love, this is a drama between two different species demons and humans and the ml and fl belong to different faction who have a long standing hatred of each other. I understood your point but realistically i can see why the both of them chose to keep their secret rather than divulge them. What you expecting from them look to me to be your own romantic inclination which for people like them will not happen because they been living such secret lives for such a long time. The fl has kept her secret from her own family so she will not reveal it to even the person she loves same with ml he made a vow to keep his secret so he will not break it whether i like it or not i still understood why they made that choice.

The identity part does not just affect them but also affect everyone around them. Why didn't they tell each other their identities before getting marry i suppose it has to do with their loyalty to their faction because that secret does not belong only to them and will effect the different faction they belong. The ml made a vow to his sect once he left the sect he can't say anything otherwise a curse will fallen on the love of his life and such a vow once made is binding for people like him, fl is also not free to tell her secret because it affect not only her but the whole demon world since they're hiding their presence from the humans, if humans knew about their existence they will be put in harm way. I kind of understood why they kept such a secret from each other since it affect not only the both of them but their faction as well.

You're putting the blame on her for hiding her identity, but she's not the only one who did. He was also partly responsible for hiding his identity. But we have to understand the position they're both in, she's a half demon task with the responsibilty to protect both the demon and human world and mantaining peace, he on the other hand is a demon hunter who is undercover to find the opening of the demon world to find the cuprit who killed his parents to protect the human world from being destroy by demons. They both have responsibility to their own identities, one careless move could destroy the balance between demons and humans. It's easy to say she should trust him when he also wasn't forthcoming about his identity. Both his sect and the demon world are natural enemies and don't trust each other, and she is also afraid that once he found out about her identity he would reject her just like how snake lord was rejected by her lover when he found out she was a demon. Xukai has an interview and he compare them to mr and mrs smith who have secret identities while marrying to each other because they both afraid the other from finding out the other part of themselves. You're right in love you should have trust, but in this situation i'm not sure if once they know each other identies there would even be a relationship since they're both on opposite side and her side and his side have such distrust over the other 🤔

I'm also looking forward to this drama. If you like his carefree character he also has a few historical dramas his characters are carefree like court lady, once upon a time in lingjian mountain, dance of the sky empire, wonderland of love... His next drama he's shooting now his character is also carefree from seeing the bts. I think xukai is suitable in all kind of roles, it's probably just your preference for roles that are more carefree than serious introvert type roles because i like xukai in those roles just as much as his carefree roles.

As a casual drama watcher i care much more for the plot and the characters, having great cinematography is extra but not a requirement though since i used to watch older dramas with mostly fake sceneries.

You're the first to complain about the cinematography, i would say this drama has one of the better cinematography that keep me clue to the screen as well as the atmosphere.

It's a slow burn romance, and i disagree with you they have great chemistry once it gets going. In the beginning ml was resisting and avoided the fl because he can't fall in love per his sect rule, but once he left his sect and finally admitted his feeling they romance was fire.

I heard it's a double ml drama but then i heard it also has a fl so don't know what this is anymore. I don't care either way just hope he will get good screentimes that's all that matters. Some of his past dramas even when he's ml he got less screentimes than some of the supports, let hope this is not the case for this drama and his future dramas.
