In the first ep the focus was on the father uncovering a murder scene as a police chief, the second ep he has a lot more screentimes. I'm satisfy with his screentimes in this drama and the plot is moving fast unlike in longer dramas when they had to add in filler to give to supports and take away from the main lead. It's not the case in this drama.

Can you put this under spoiler. I hope you're wrong they have such a strong relationship it will surely destroy him if anything happens to songge.

I think it's only meant for the main leads not including supporting role.

I'm kind of confuse about how an investigation into a murder has turn into finding drug dealers and buyers. Is a murder from years ago has any connection to the new murder and the victim's connection to chenhui's dad. I already had a suspect that taxi driver is very suspicicious, i'm wondering if he could be a killer.

Love the second ep, so both chen hui and songe are childhood streetheart, i feel for them especially when they both got hurt in this ep. It's so sad what they went through and what they had to do in order to get money for songe's illness. Great acting from xukai and ancy deng and the whole casts. Aciticipate the next ep ^^

Nice xukai eight hundred has aired finally, and his two other dramas has passed review and awaiting for airing schedule. Good things come in 3 ^^

Finally the wait for any news of this drama was frustrating hearing of controversy without understanding whether it was fake marketing etc.

But this drama didn't even have a wrapup video or a trailer, it left the fans hanging waiting for any new materials; i'm glad to hear we will finally have a trailer after waiting for so long.

I didn't remember xukai's character treat him badly at all, are we talking about royal feast, i remember he got punished for breaking the palace rule but xukai treated him nicely not abusive. That why his betrayal hurt so much because he was his attendant since they were kids.

This actor in so many dramas with xukai, he's a police officer in this drama but they don't seem to have any relation beside chen hui's dad being his boss.

Maybe it's to show the spirit world i don't know but xukai talk about his character being sickly because he can see spirit.

I seen one ep and i can understood why it got lots of compliment on the picture quality of the whole drama and the casts are good looking, but it didn't catch my attention to keep watching, maybe because the ml is not xukai 😆? But i do agree with you tian xiwei was great in this drama ^^

I think asian viewers are more into subtety than western viewers, i'm as interest in characters that are not as expressive as those who are expressive since i'm watching dramas for characters and plot ^^

Hopefully there will be english sub for it later. If you look on youtube username vorxukai there is translation of what they said. They were praising xukai on taking this drama because he agree to all their demands in order to transform into this character.

No need to insult another drama, every drama has its own beauty and flaw, i heard persuit of jade has a very good director who got a lot of compliment in that drama for how good looking the whole drama is.
