So shi wuming has two friends, one is his childhood friend and the other is played by miles wei but i don't see him in the cast list, is he going to be in the drama? I also heard both xukai and miles wei characters are enemies because their families have a blood feud is this true?

English sub is still not available, i think the last ep is the only one that doesn't have english sub.

No they didn't, it's unusual to not release even a wrap up vid or teaser. Wonder what is going on with this production, why are they so secretive?

Lots of unexplain things that happen in the last few eps that we kind of have to piece together i think the drama was cut that why it feel rush. From my understanding mzy's father could've shielded his memory as well as his ability as half demon to protect him that could explain why he didn't recognize his father when he met him. Also he went back in time to help find a way to cure wz and i think he realizes the only way to do that is to transfer the infant core to himself, we learn that his father intended to transfer his power and the infant core to him but due to a twist of fate when he gave her his lantern she became the target. So when he met his father, his father transfered the infant core to him instead of wz. Mzy was killed by the sword as a human and wake up as a demon and i think what saves him was the plant his father cultivated to protect him after he took the infant core inside him.

Xukai used to have someone who kept stalking his channel and dramas just like this person and talking nonsense about astrology . I think it's the same person who just changed username after we block them. Those people are just desperate for attention.

Yeah let hope his future dramas will give him more screentimes as an ml deserves. I suppose so fire investigator and 800 meters should focus on his character as they have lesser eps to add filler or too many side characters. I don't know about a cup of love but let hope there will be no love triangle my most hated trope when it comes to cdrama.

I wouldn't call 8.1 a high rating, this drama deserve a rating in the mid 8 range or higher if we're compare to dramas with high rating, it's totally underrated. Every drama will have those who love it or hate it for whatever reason, it just means this drama doesn't appeal to you, but it's very much to the taste of those who love this drama.

My comment is base on your comment saying you never finish a drama he's in, by saying you struggle in watching his dramas isn't that an attack on him as an actor by putting the blame solely on him alone you didn't say the plot was uninteresting or his characters are bland but you're saying his acting is bland attributing the characters he played to his acting. Your comment asking about plot and chemistry seem redundant at this point since you made a point you didn't like the type of character he play in which his character is exactly as what you describe by some as bland and boring in this drama makes me thing you're basing your judgement on your intial impression of the characters he played rather than him as an actor.

Every body has different taste, you find this boring i on the other hand love the business plot and the romance between the main leads. It come down to different taste, some people like this drama but not moonlit reunion or vice versa. I like both dramas and my main point is i love xukai characters in both dramas and i also like the fls ^^

The bff breaking the sister code i felt was realistic because in real life this does happens the boyfriend cheated on the girl friend with her best friend i'm glad it didn't happens here and they only gotten together after he broke up with her. The fl has her own mind and she has a lot of growth, her business was helped by ml at the start but she was able to deal with lots of problems arising on her own without his help so i disagree with you on this. From the very beginning she made a deal with him because he promised her business would be independent from his so i can see why she felt it was a betrayal that he kept it from her that he wants to merge their business together, but eventually she understood why he did it and they got back together after settling their differences. I thought the 40 eps was about right, i don't think 24 eps would do this drama justice unless we take out all the business stuffs and only included the romance.

You also like once upon a time in lingjian mountain like me. My first drama of xukai is story of yangxi palace a very different type of drama than lingjian i like that he can play serious and funny characters equally well. What you said xukai can ground his character in some form of reality is true, and it's also what i like about him his emotion feel real and not fake, his character feel grounded and he can emote and touch the audience to make them care for his characters. In term of bland i assume that person is complaining about some of his characters being call bland and boring by some but again it's all base on taste some people just don't like that type of character while some people on the other hand love it.

His fan base spread out from different age group i don't follow actor for popularity but rather their works you might be right certain actors will click with us base on the dramas they're in. Just because you don't like certain dramas doesn't mean the fault lies with the actor but rather your taste in dramas, i have never have a problem with finishing a drama xukai in and i'm a lazy watchers i'm not the type to watch a drama to the end if it didn't appeal to me so i understand perfectly your point but i would never put the blame on the actor/actress and make it about them like what you're doing by putting the blame on xukai just because you don't like the dramas. An actor should not be hold responsible for your disliking of a drama they're in just because it's not to your taste. I'm saying this because you're making it personal by bringing his name in here by asking about the drama when he's not responsible for whether the drama appeal to you or not, it's base on your taste just like i didn't like how in some dramas fans of certain actors would blame on li yi tong for many dramas she in that didn't do well according to them. They're actors they're not responsible for the writing or the directing of the drama or whether the subject matter appeal to you, it's up to you whether you want to find out yourself by watching to get a feel of the drama since i don't know your taste i can't tell you whether you will like this drama or not but in this drama xukai character is introverted and can be call bland and boring but in drama there's a thing call character development you don't expect the character to stay the same the whole drama and that why it's fun to watch these dramas to see when that happens.

You could watch a few eps to get a feel for the drama to see if it's something that will keep your interest. Also don't mistake acting for the character the actor is playing, sure xukai has play these introverted type of character who can be describe as bland and boring and still get many to watch his dramas, he can bring the character to life bringing out their feeling and motivation that is why he has many type of fans for different dramas he in, the character he play in this drama is a demon hunter who hides his ability to investigate his parents death. I love actors that can be rounded and can play all types of character even the ones that are bland and boring and that is xukai appeal he play both introverted and extroverted types of characters not just those that appeal to wider audiences that is what it means to be a serious actor. Txw character from your comment i think you will like her character is a cat demon who can kick ass.

Xukai doesn't look much difference than when he was younger ^^
