Agree hearing people talking about the later eps i can't wait to see those eps myself since i'm still not caught up, so i'm excited to see what everyone talking about, i seen some spoiler and they were so good ^^

I'm not sure where you get that idea from i also watch the scene and her intention was to enter the xie family. At first we all assume she want revenge but as more eps are reveal we can see her objective more clearly, she wants to clear her mother name, her mother is accused of being a murderer how can a daughter hearing her mother name being tarnish not feel injustice knowing your own mother being blame for something she didn't do, so no her purpose in that family is so much more than revenge that why she got close to 1st sister in order to get the truth from the mother about what happens back then.

Why is it my reaction is different from yours, she didn't accept the proposal she said her marriage will be arrange by her parents/family as any proper young lady would've say in order to get the trust of the grandma, she's just playing the long game as she still has not seen the father, also what made you think she's only there for revenge, she went there to investigate and clear her mother name, and she's not thinking about marriage because she wants to stay in that family and get the family trust so she can complete her objective.

Ep 9 we're starting to see a crack in yr composure, qy could makes him get angry that means he finally starting to have feeling for her. Him getting jealous about the gifts of sml given to qy and throw it down on the floor, in the first scene when he throw the flower i thought he was just acting, but in this one we can see his anger when he saw his jade pendant was with the 2nd sister. We also get more insight into qy's feeling she does not care about romance and doesn't value things that were given to her in a way she was showing yanrui that she doesn't want him involve and want to get revenge on her own or is she intererest in a relationship with him or the sml. When she said to yr that she was just a puppet whose string is being pull i wonder what she meant is it her position in the xie's family?

Yeah they use to sub the info about how the game works, now they don't even bother so we're left to figure it all put by how they played the game. I like how pyc has so much trust in xukai and czy and his hand holding was too funny ^^

The chemistry is in their battle of wits, they both are not actively pursuing each other but rather are using each other for their objectives. One person is flirting but he's not exactly letting on he has feeling for her or he has some other motive, the other is guarded because she doesn't care for romance and only objective is getting revenge and clear her mother's name. With two strong individuals who purposes are not clear, we're attract to their strong personalities but also seeing their attraction to each other underneath all that armors the fl put on. I find the main leads are the most interesting of the drama so far from their interactions together, chemistry is subjective of course it doesn't have to be romantic either since these two are very clear headed and won't fall in love easily with anyone.

Also you're making comparison about two different cps, i can't say about zhouye with other mls, but with xukai and jingtian both of their characters are actively flirting with each other and we know from the get go lini is interested in cuilin and he never stop pursuing her, both characters are so different lini is an open book and we can see clearly his intention while with yanrui we never know what he's thinking, is he truly liking her or he has other motive to pursue her. The relationship between the main leads in this drama is not straight forward we can't say they're lovers since there was never an establish relationship in the first place, what they have is a partnership and even then both are not showing their hands because they don't trust each other fully. This is still early in their relationship of course and it will change probably once they both truly fall for each other and not putting on an act. The same with ester yu the relationship is totally different and can't be compare since xukai is playing a totally different character.

Huh in all the eps i'm watching the leads are together and they have great chemistry, while with sml they barely spend any time together lmao but he already head over heel in love with her. It's fine if you like the sml but saying the ml is wooden are we watching the same drama 😅

Maybe we will get this drama after spring of the blade like with some actors/ actresses whose dramas air one after another. Hope it will be true 🙏

I'm so happy to be able to watch spring of the blade and great escape together as entertainment and both has xukai. I missed watching him since last year moonlit reunion and it feel much longer to wait for spring of the blade and the new season of great escape ^^

Why did qy let her elder sisters taken her token, i think it was the one yr gave it to her, i don't think it's that simple that she would just give it away, she has a motive for letting the 2nd sister takes it. The two so spoil i wonder how 1st madam being so proper but the two daughters she raise are such bitches, it's no wonder the guy she likes doesn't like her back. Qy being all proper on the other hand got his attention rather than being a shrew like her elder sister 😁

Qy's mother is so beautiful i can see why someone might be jealous of her and want to get rid of her. Good casting the actress who played zhouye's mother looks so much like her.

Qy and yr are not simple people, qy has been using yr in her scheme but she still not trust him to let him in on her secret, what about yr why does he need qy help, i suppose his investigation has something to do with the xie family that why he needs a reason to keep visiting the xie's estate by having interest in qy and making everyone believe he has feeling for her or is it real and he has already fallen for her. I love xukai in this role, you can tell he has lots of fun playing this character, we can see the different ways he treated the grandmothers of qy, the one who cares for her with the one who is the head of the xie family 🤔

I knew it qy's motive to helping her elder sister is not just because she's kind, her purpose is to worm ger way in to 3rd madam and her daughter good graces so she can investigate what happens 19 years ago when her mother was frame for the dead of that concubine. So now we know 3rd madam knew something but kept it secret all these years and that servant betraying her mother i wonder where she's now if qy will get revenge on her for framing her mother. This is a case of killing two birds with one stone who would feel threaten enough to want to commit murder could it be any of the wives, the 3rd madam is not off the hook but i don't think she truly mean her mother harm, she kept secret to protect herself and her daughter since they both are not favor and would be implicate if she has admit to knowing something. But then why is her mother was killed after saying she was meeting a friend, could the friend be 3rd madam?
