Are we watching the same drama, so many things happen in the drama and fl is in the midst of it, her status as cat lord make her having to deal with all sort of different demons and keeping them in check to hide the demon world from the human world. Fl is the sister of the queen and she's a good catch so she has lots of men vying for her hand in marriage but she is too busy with her duty as cat lord to have time for them until she met ml who are so different from the men who court her and started showing interest in him. I'm suprised that you don't like fl because most people who watch this drama love her personality and her independent.

Xukai has already past the phase of choosing dramas for popularity, that why he has not participated in those popularity events i think. As fans we can only support his decision and his choice in dramas.

I don't agree with you being top bill will determine popularity since bailu from the start was given main role when she just started as an actress, even xk was given only a small role when he just started as an actor but he gotten way more popular than bailu even though she was top bill. Compare to those actresses xk paired with, his partners are all top tier, their standing are higher than bailu so even if he wasn't top bill when paired with them like zdy, yangmi and yangzi his standing is still higher than her. In as beautiful as you he was pair with tsy and they were equal bill, tsy is a well known and popular actress with a good rep, same with jingtian in wonderland of love both actresses have a longer career than him, so bailu might be popular with the younger crowds, but in term of older audiences xk has a higher standing compare to bailu 🤔

In term of who was more popular at the start xk, bailu gained more popularity through her works with xk, then later with allen ren and leo luo. Nowaday xk is not promoting cp and is avoiding the spotlight while bailu is still promoting cp by pairing with younger actors and going to all those popularity events that xk avoid. In term of popularity i suppose she's popular with the younger crowds compare to xk base on his past projects working with older actresses. He paired with many talented and popular actresses like zdy, yangmi, yangzi, jingtian and tsy who are all known in cent and i would say have a bigger influence compare to bailu in term of partners. I think in term of visibility he's more well known than bailu, who only just gotten her popularity in recent years. It's kind of interesting to me the different way marketing and fan circle speak about them, when bailu paired with younger actors less popular than her they gave her praise like she's finally leading the drama, but when xk is leading the drama they put him down like somehow it's a down grade for him to pair with less popular actresses lmao. These type of marketing are design to start fans war if anything by putting down an actor while praising an actress for doing exactly the same thing lmao 😁

He's athletic and a fast learner. He also has some experience in doing action scenes in his past dramas, i remember in snow eagle lord the director require him to do the action himself compare to other actors who only need to look the part, for that one i think he does has some training for that drama with using the spear.
