So it took 4 years for xukai to get an apology from this poster for defamation, what a joke with little repercussion no wonder these people went to such length to cyber bullying actor/ actress when there's little consequence beside getting an apology or paying a small fee to the victim. If they actually give much harsh punishment, they will stop cyber bullying entirely just saying.

Good to know, this makes me wonder if there're more such groups, xukai has experienced so many smear campaigns against him over the years while his dramas were airing or about to air made me think they were paid and if he was included in the group of actors/actresses that were their victims. This is why we should not give online posts too much attention especially if they're aim to smear an actor/actress image 🙄

The ml was cold in the beginning but his personality change after falling in love, i heard he was exactly how the novel depict him, the fl on the other hand got lots of criticism of her acting because of her stage name was smiling but she never smile i kind of like her portrayal because it makes sense to be shy and ackward being she has never been on stage before and she was new to the team.

Also the pattern that you stated is just coincidental because for many of these actor/actress dating rumors are a normal part of their lives, sometimes it even help promote their dramas and that's why their teams didn't squash it completely like for example before kunning palace air bailu and zhang linghe were rumor to be dating after they finished filming the drama and it help promote their drama and some fans were even shipping them or bailu and dylan wang and many of her coactors she would have dating rumors with them and it didn't affect their dramas. The backlash that you said came not from fans per se but from casual viewers when a drama of popular actors didn't measure up rather than because of dating rumors. For zhouye wgether she dated or not it's her business and toxic fans culture of boycotting her over whether she has relationship or not then those people are not true fans anyway. There was a saying even negative marketing is still better than no marketing and yuzheng is an example, dating rumors between bailu and xukai were probably orchestrated by him to help boost her popularity after xukai got really popular after story of yangxi palace til his ex ruined it by accusing him of cheating on her with bailu.

At the end of the day everything is just rumor, even the early date is also rumor we were optimistic it could air during those time frame, but until there is a confirmation we can only wait for the real date.

Even a bad romance can get a high score on mdl vs a good crime drama if the number of audiences are high enough. Just a few 1 score on a drama with less viewers will bring down the rating of any drama especially if it was done on purpose by haters of certain actor/actress.

Especially when that person point to ai and internet trolls as sources lmao. An opinion that came from ai isn't that still an opinion it wasn't taken out of nowhere. Unless you actually see them dating, any rumors about dating is all speculation especially for actors and actresses who are in the eyes of the public, and another thing something that came from an ex or who claim to be an ex is not reliable because once you're an ex anything you said can not be taken seriously once the relationship has ended. An ex being bitter about a bad breakup and making trouble years later invite ridicule, she didn't say it while they were dating or when they brokeup but years later when anything she claim can not be proven just made it more likely it's all fake especially for actors and actresses in china who rely on their image being clean. Good thing for xukai he doesn't rely on popularity anymore he's now going by his works which is much more reliable than popularity, and his fans who follow him are also loyal and don't believe in these madeup controversy probably done by competitors or black marketing and this is after his contract about to end and his drama was airing how convenient 😆

Those bailu fans always went on about xukai fans attacking her, but from my observation her fans were the ones that went on the attack on him without any provocation especially those cp fans who hated any other pairings he has with other actresses and in turn hating him and the actressess he pair with after they stop working together. Come on grow up, xukai is not the only one pairing with other actresses, bailu also pair with other actors but they can't stop the hate because they want to blame on someone convenient. Yuzheng used xukai to promote bailu by pairing them in two dramas and dating rumors with him also help her gain lots of new fans.

Not exactly international fans taste are vary and also age specific. I discover xukai from story of yangxi palace and that is a real serious drama, maybe rom com and idol dramas are more popular with younger audiences but those audiences will also mature and become older and taste change. Xukai is the only actor that i can watch any drama he's in regardless of genre, my favorite genre is wuxia and i would really like for him to do a pure wuxia drama, but i will support him and watch any drama he's in. His next dramas i'm anticipating all three of them equally because my curiosity is killing me especially after such a long wait for them to air.
