Jin zhao feeling down missing qi, while qi is trying to break that wu shuang spell even though it was just a lie. It's so nice of her friends to leave qi parting gifts. They only know each other for a short time but they all became good friends. I'm glad for shifang finding his courage with the help of jinzhao. I always love xukai's action scenes. Jinzhao's ability to see the future I think it's s very limited because he can see only a short instant and not for prolong period, also it doesn't looks like he can control at will, it just activated on its own without his knowledge. I think it's neat that he has such an ability because it can help him in a bind ^^

She wants him to be crown prince because he's the only one capable. And the consequences she thought of was her family army will be downsize not being totally disbanded. Or her father to become unstable after he loss his army. The jieshu people helping liu chanfeng because he agree to help them go against general cuiyi, his adopted father. He's helping them to deal with general cuiyi and lini, if not for lini general cuiyi could've been executed by their machination. An enemy of an enemy is a friend something to that effect. It was because of them that lini loss so many of his loyal men.

The father is not very smart, but he's not a bad person. He just listened to bad advisors. He only took the throne by listening to his two sons, he's first and foremost a coward and would rather enjoying himself playing with his hobby. And as he has only one son left he realizes he has misjudged him and even he knows lini is the best person to run the country. The crown grandson is the true heir so lini return the throne to the rightful heir as he has plans all along.

The low rating are from haters who're stalking this drama to bring down the rating. Don't mind it, if you like the drama rate every eps to combat the haters, and write review and give recommendation of this drama so more viewers will have a chance to enjoy it rather than be scare away by the haters.

When did they contradict themselves, can you give an example. The two leads were stubborn and have their own minds but they both share the same ideal just different methods to get there, that why they were at odd with each other. But the ending they both finally were of one mind and choose each other once they got what they wanted.

Haven't watch legend of zhao hua, but this has a great ending and resolve things as how both the leads want. Also it's been a while since I watch a drama that gave me such a satisfying feeling after watching the ending. Give it a watch and check it out yourself.

That's just me, I don't consider being too pale attractive like the Chinese, a bit of blush would bring out your natural beauty than just going for all white, I think it's unhealthy to not get any sun. I also noticed in drama guys also wear lipstick I don't get that either, I like guys to look healthy and tan rather than looking unnaturally pale.

Thanks for your explanation. I noticed Chinese actors/actresses wear lots of sunscreen to keep from getting tan. I think for a guy it's ok to be a bit tan, for the girl I feel they're too pale and need some blush to look more natural. I heard xukai said that too about not wearing sunscreen, but I think he has no choice if he wants to please the Chinese viewers since the Chinese aesthetic is to look really white.

Did you just said it's boring in second half. How are you making judgement for those people who are watching this drama? Also since you said those people who dropped this drama after watching 5-7 eps,so how would they know what the second half is about whether it's good or not. I'm thinking the drama getting more interesting as i watch further, not sure where you get this idea that the second half is not more interesting than first half when drama usually started boring to introduce the characters and only get better as it goes into its climax. Those who dropped this drama, it's a disservice to judge a drama watching only a few episodes introduction. Kind of similar to ancient love poetry, if I had listened to those people who badmouth it because they dropped the drama and didn't watch it further I would've missing out on such a wonderful drama that I could rewatch so many times and became one my most favorite drama of xukai.

I really like the costumes and hair styles of all the females and males in this drama, the color also very matching to them. Someone was complaining about the leads outfits, but I have to praise those responsible for the costumes and hairstyles for this drama for giving them such a contrasting styles, they must've come from the game design probably. The only problem I have with it is how everyone is looking so white especially the fl, she would look so much better if she's not so pale. I don't understand the aesthetic of the Chinese, why are they so in love with looking so pale, it looks like they don't go into the sun much. I think having a bit of blush on the females would make them more attractive. I really like qi's earrings, they're so pretty. I was kind of guessing qi was a demon before, so I wasn't wrong about her identity, she's a mystical beast like her mother, and they're call kun, is kun meaning is fish? No wonder qi is liking everything that is related to fish, she also trying to return that fish to the water when jinzhao spitted out, I thought it was funny how she was more worried about that fish getting back to the water than jinzhao after he gotten hurt ^^ That present jinzhao gave her was also in the form of a fish. She also love to eat and was always thirsty. It was showed in the first ep that qi was a whale that turn into a human, so it wasn't just a dream she had, but it's real. Also Jin zhao said he has been taking care of qi for three years, so it makes sense for qi to be so dependent on him. That mindlink that they had, they were able to use it when they first woke up, so is it a lie when that guy said it was a spell that made jinzhao cares for qi and want to protect her, or is it developed by their own affection. Jinzhao is questioning whether his feelings for qi is real or whether it was created by a spell. Now I'm sad for qi seeing how much she cares for jinzhao and afraid to be separated from him. Jinzhao chose to leave qi behind to stay with her mom, I hope their separation will help them understand their feelings for each other ^^

How many of those who rate the drama are serious watchers and how many are haters. I noticed the rank for this drama keep jumping up and down and I got curious because normally those who don't like this drama should've move on by now but they keep stalking this drama and rating it down, I think that's the reason why the rating stuck. If you check sf4 the number of people rating for that drama per ep is much lower, anyway there're still many who didn't finish the drama, so let wait and see if the rating change after those who are serious watchers finish this drama. It was the same thing on viki lots of stupid comments about fl's voice to rate down the drama.

Is the novel written them getting older or only drama version?

I think I will rewatch the drama after I finish all episodes to check all the things I missed watching the first time ^^

I don't get the hate on her voice. Is it that bad? If you like xukai should watch this drama, he's playing double roles here. Watch a few episodes and you will get use to her voice.

The weapons they used materialize out of thin air that why I said they're using spells to create their weapons compare to jinzhao and zhao yan who are using physical weapons. I assume those who can use spells are stronger than those who only using physical weapons since those weapons are much more resilient.

This is a fantasy drama so it'll be different from a wuxia and most of the moves they use are spells compare to weapons. The two who are using weapons are jinzhao and zhao yan, but they also using spells in their fights. I'm fascinated by qi's power because she seems to be the one with the strongest spell, her spell looks very powerful compared to snow eagle lord when fl used her spell it doesn't look as powerful as when qi used her spell. I assume this is due to the higher production in sf6 compare to snow eagle lord because of its lower budget.
