So I was right about qi's mother being lord ming. The reason lord ming has to absorb those orbs is to save the yu clan. My guess is lord ming cares for the yu clan and want to save them because they been living on her back and she develop personal attachments towards them. The qing dao sect took qi as a hostage to keep lord ming under control and used the mist soul to freeze the time of the yu clan. The qang dao sect knew all along if lord ming absorbed the orbs she will be affected by humans dark energy and will go mad. So they have been preparing to deal with lord ming all this time, and they want to use qi and jinzhao, is this the reason for their resonance to deal with lord ming when she goes mad. Bian luhuan volunteer to go get jinzhao and qi, he looks so happy that qi regains her memory of him. However qi has finally knows why she was with him as a hostage, I'm afraid she will hurt him. I'm conflicted between feeling bad or bian luhuan and Jin zhao, one doesn't have a past, the other doesn't have a future :(

I can tell you truly love this drama by your posts. Don't worry too much about rating. As I always say drama is made for your enjoyment, as long as you love it then it doesn't matter how others rated, what matters is what you think and those people who share the same interests as you. It's their loss if they don't want to give it a chance because they hate on an actress/ actor, or because of any other reasons.

I don't expect all xukai's fans to like every drama he in. For this drama I just noticed there're more haters than watchers because all of the bad ratings were due for stupid reasons and not really apply to the drama. I think it's unfair to rate a drama without watching it fully and there're many who are doing that on viki. I can tell when someone watches the drama and when someone a hater when they don't really watch the drama and rated the drama down to bring down the rating and made some ridiculous statements to attack the actor/ actress or made generalization. I'm curious what made you not like the story line, I think sf6 has a very interesting storyline and not boring as you keep watching.

Yeah I think lots of those who complained about this drama are those who like the anime/ novel and didn't like the changes in the drama adaptation. The CGI was a bit low budget but still did the job, I think what I like the most in this drama is how xk got lots of fight scenes and also the main leads being so supportive of each other. Also this drama has a very likable sfl and sml ^^

I haven't watch the ending, as I heard the ending was the best ending they could've gotten, that means it's up to interpretation whether you think it was a happy ending. As I only know one other sword and fairy drama, and in that one both fl and sfl died and ml was left with their child I thought the ending for this one for the main leads was a much better ending even if they loss memories of each other since they can still make new memories. I guess all these games ending that are sad ending are made to make them more memorable since I heard other adaptations for other games aren't happy either. What was the ending for sf4, was it happy or sad ending? Did you watch that drama?

It's not too similar to love 020 just center on a group of people playing video games as professionals and the ml falls for fl because of her game skills. Ml has lots of fangirls so that's one other thing that is similar to love 020 with the fl also fangirling him.

I wonder if it has anything to do with her fans reaction about him pairing with her, that's why they didn't do a photo shoot together. I hope I'm wrong and they chose to shoot separately for other reasons that has nothing to do with the fans.

Qi finally find out her past with bian luhuan. So she was just a little fish when she first met him when he was just a little boy and that's how they know each other. From qi's mother mouth, she was taken hostage as a little kid by the heng dao sect and bian luhuan belong to that sect, but he must've care for her as more than a hostage. She called him master, I thought it was because she was a student to him, but it could be another reason entirely that she gave him such a title. I have a thought since Jin zhao doesn't have a past, is he created by bian luhuan because bian luhuan couldn't resonate with qi anymore that why he created Jin zhao in his place? So it makes sense why bian luhuan is jealous of Jin zhao because someone he created was able to surpasses him in his resonance with qi. But why does he needs to resonate with qi, is there a deeper reason for him to resonate with qi? I see qi and Jin zhao when they resonate can create a strong power to fight against enemies, is that the only reason? Why does bian luhuan said qi won't remember him when he spent time with her, why did she able to remember him only for a short time and then forgotten him again. It's very interesting to know in this drama there's a way to bring back the dead, but in order to bring the dead person back, there has to be an equal sacrifice and the person who asked will sacrifice their own life and all memories of themselves. There's no gains in this, ming xiu wants to bring her master back from the dead, but if she has done that, she will cease to exist and all memories of her will also disappear from those people who care about her. Her master would never wants her to make such a sacrifice for him. Ming xiu wish is to meet him again, but this can only happens in their next life. She could've been adopted by a loving family, but she refused because she didn't want to leave her master, now that her master is dead, she finally allowed herself to care for the people around her and accepting their friendship ^^

I also saw her review but I didn't remember she said anything about his weight because that's just wrong to complain about his weight when he looks fit unlike those actors that looks so skinny and frail and couldn't even lift their costars.

This is my first drama I watched of Esther,and I don't understand why there're people who complained about her voice. I have watched animes with really high pitched voices because the characters were mostly teenagers and were dubbed by adults, and those people who watch these animes never think to drop the animes because of their voices, and Esther voice is easier on the ear than those voices by far. From all the complaints about her voices, those people are just looking for an excuse to put down this drama and the most easiest is to attack her voice. If a drama is good, it shouldn't matter how annoying the voice is, you could overlook it and still be able to enjoy the drama. If these people are drawing attention to her voice that much, it just means they never truly care or wants to watch the drama. As her character fits with her voice I don't have any complaints about her voice.

1. They were always together, but in the beginning they have sibling vibe/friendship then later they started to realize their feelings for each other 2. They don't exactly break up but they did separate for one or two eps and got back together. Xukai play two characters on here and both have feeling for qi so you could say there's a love triangle between the three of them, although qi's feeling is always with jinzhao, but you will feel bad for bian luhuan probably and it's not an annoying love triangle, you will understand once you watch it.
3. I heard it's a happy ending, but also depends on your interpretation.

What happens to the one with ester yu. Sf6 has finished airing but the ep of their recording has not air?

This drama gets better every episode. The beginning of this drama was lighter and fun as we get introduced to the different characters. Now we're getting into the meat of the drama, and it's getting more serious, and this is what makes this drama stands out. Qi finally remember her past, I feel so bad for jinzhao, xukai's acting was so good in this ep, we get to see his pain and bewilderment that he's the only one without a past. That scene in the rain when he was questioning himself and questioning his existence, we can feel his desperation and depression, his crying and screaming because he's defiance of fate and pretending not to be scared and then his resolve to keeps moving forward and not give up. The scene of qi holding the umbrella over jinzhao with the music from the opening and then hugging each other is such a powerful scene, we can see qi and jinzhao has such a deep bond, and it was through qi being there for Jinzhao that he could pick himself up and go on even if he has no past it doesn't matter. What matters is the future like Mr. Gu said ^^

Ming xiu has grown so much from being so cold and unfeeling and not needing anyone besides her master, now she knows she can relies on her friends, and is willing to keeps living on in his memory. I can't help but praise the story telling in this drama, there're so many mysteries to explore, and make us curious to watch more eps to know about all the mysteries ^^

I also like his fuller face. He got a bit skinnier now. I like his face in ancient love poetry and sword and fairy, I think his face is fuller when he was filming for sword and fairy compare to now. I agree with you xukai handsomeness is in his expressive eyes and his face as a whole taken all together, with his inner personality he has a unique charm about him ^^

I remember he was fat shamed in ancient love poetry, I didn't know he was also fat shamed in falling into your smile that drama got lots of hates from game fans that's why the rating was so low on douban. I was thinking that was so crazy how someone that skinny is being called fat; in she and her perfect husband he was body shamed as well. I think those are just haters who has nothing better to do with their times, ancient love poetry got so much hate when it first aired and the rating for it on douban is such a joke because of so much hate it got, there're still those who try to put it down even now without even watching it because they're hating that it's getting more love than their favorites' dramas.

The ranked is lower the higher the rating. This drama the rank keeps jumping up and down by a hundred or more that's why the rating stuck. Usually drama once finished the rank will goes up since those who stayed to finish the drama will rated it higher. This drama is the opposite because the ranked keep jumping by a few hundreds that's why I'm suspicious it's done by bots why's it's giving such jump. If haters are purposely creating bots to affect the rating then it makes sense why drama rank stayed the same for so long. If we looks at viki, it could be those same people rating down the drama that's why the rating is low. I feel bad for the works of these actors and actresses if this is really the work of haters to scare away future viewers. I don't always trust in rating, but mdl use to be more reliable in rating, but it's now seems to be full of full of haters, some dramas gotten inflated rating, while others dramas gotten too low rating. Those ratings don't always reflect the quality of the drama like it use to be in the past.

Not everyone like heavy court politic drama, and it's the reason why this drama has more like and better rating compare to other court politic dramas of xukai that are much heavier in politics. Not all his dramas have good ratings so his fans don't overinflated his dramas like some other fans of actors/ actresses. Also there are many watchers of this drama not just xukai's fans, why do you bring up xukai's fans when jingtian and other actors and actresses are also in this drama. Your opinion does not reflect other's opinions about this drama, and it does not change the fact this drama is a good drama that can be enjoy by many. If you see only positive comments that mean most people don't have many negative things to say about this drama. I noticed more haters on his dramas here than true drama watchers when this drama started, so if you don't like it you can move on to other dramas, there're so many dramas out there that are closer to your taste rather than complaining about xukai's fans liking his drama LMAO 😂

I saw a review on viki rating this drama a one and that person doesn't even try to disguise themselves as a hater. Complaining about Esther's voice, xukai's acting, the plot and the CGI. Or another review generalize this drama that it's like any other fantasy drama with a few sentences without going into details. If xukai's a bad actor I wouldn't fan him for so long, in this drama he was able to play two distinctive characters and make us feels for the both of them, bian luhuan even wearing a mask could express so much with just his eyes alone. Esther was casted for this drama and dubbed her own voice because the director wants her character to be as close to the game character. The plot of this drama is unique and not like any other dramas, and the CGI gives us the feeling of being immersive in the game with these characters going on their adventures and we the viewers experience all their struggles and emotional connection. Those haters could only say that on viki because they know fans of this drama on mdl would chew them out if they had said those things on here, we could spot these haters who pretend to watch this drama without actually watching it. If you don't even try to understand why the characters behave the way they're, this drama is better without you watching it, if you can't appreciate its unique plot, then it's just your poor taste and is not the fault of the drama or the actors/actresses who bring out these characters from the game into life and give us so much feels for these characters.
