That conversation between Jinzhao and luohuan made me remember xukai talking in an interview about sf6 and he said his future self and past self talking to each other now i know what he meant. I'm surprised he was able to spoil it when sf6 hasn't aired yet. There're still some people who gotten confused about jinzhao's identity. It's explained very clearly in the drama when bian luohuan made reference to himself many times about not having a future. He spend 12 years with qi but his resonance was not as strong as jinzhao who spend only three years with her. In qi's perspective even though luohuan was nice to her his resonance with her is about control while with jinzhao she has freedom and her resonance with him was because of their bonds. Qi feeling for bian luohuan is different from her feeling for jinzhao, I'm sad for him even though I like jinzhao and qi relationship. Turn out he and his siblings are not blood related, and his mother was abusive towards him and gave him the scar on his cheek. Luohuan looks so sickly and unhappy in this episode, his final good bye to his older brother and qi made me so emotional, he's really reluctant to leave. He really wants to grant qi's wish to go to the mortal world, his hurt looks when qi is indifferent to him compared to three years before ๐ญ
This drama does have an unusual schedule, maybe that's the reason why you loss interest since I'm still waiting…
Yes I know it was a tragic love story because they didn't get together. Anyway you said you didn't like xukai recent couple matches, which one are you referring to, I thought xukai and jingtian and gulli nazha also have great chemistry. I'm also looking forward to his new dramas with seven tan and yang zi. And like you I would like Esther and xukai to be pair again ^^
Watching to ep 28, I finally found out Jin zhao's origin, so I'm not completely wrong. Jin zhao and qi are going to be a weapon to deal with zhu yu once she turned mad. What I didn't think of was the luo huan three years from the future traveled to the past to correct the future by creating Jin zhao to resonate with qi because he couldn't do it in the future causing them to lose the fight against zhu yu. So that phrase bian luo huan said about not having a future finally makes sense. By creating Jin zhao he exchanged himself in the process that means bian luhuan can only live to three years up to the time he created Jinzhao. Wow that's some time traveling paradox, the future will correct itself once a person makes a wish they will disappear and the one they wishes for will replaces them. How sad for luo huan, what he said about qi wanting her hatred of him rather than being forgotten. Jinzhao not having a past is finally explained. I love time travel, this is some deep stuff, I watched a few times travel dramas and always love a drama that has a good explanation about time travel and makes you think ^^
Does everyone find the Chinese translation never translated the term brother and sister, it always used their names instead of translated the term their used for their siblings like luo huan brother and sisters called him, or him calling them to show familiarity.
It is understandable since S&F is not a true romance drama but a classic storytelling of tragedy and heroism than…
I think it's unfair to compare Jin zhao and bian luhuan, you said you care about bian luo huan because he has a backstory, then if you understand jinzhao you would know he doesn't have a past because he was created by the bian luo huan of the future who traveled through time and exchange himself to create jinzhao. After knowing about his origin I feel so bad for him and bian luo huan and understand the phrase one doesn't have a future and one doesn't have a past. Anyway it's fine if you don't care for the story, this drama does takes it time getting from point a to point b and i thought it did a good job showing the bonds between jinzhao and qi after living three years together through their acting without showing them living through those three years, rather it chose to show their interactions as they went on their adventures looking for their memories and meeting new friends. I love characters centric drama and this drama does a very good job touching on each of the main and support characters and their motivations.
I don't think so. If the producer aims to broadcast this drama on web and satelite station, it requires available…
How do you know legend of shen li will air in march, is it just a rumor? Abay was rumor for late Feb early March and also released so many materials that makes us believe that it's going to air soon, with the hi6 to be released on march 2. And I heard legend of shenli still hasn't got license to broadcast?

What ep did you stop watching? Once and only I heard was a tragic love story that focuses on the main leads. This drama tragedy involves all the characters besides the main leads so that could be another reason why someone who's not interested in other characters might lose interest since this drama gave screen times equally to mains and supports, so if you only care about the main leads storyline and not the other characters it might not satisfy you.

Doom and gloom is the theme if you're comparing to those other Chinese paladin series in the past. If you can't take to much tragedy, then this drama is definitely not for you. I saw one other sword and fairy many years ago, and it was a sad ending, so for those people who can't handle sad ending I don't recommend watching that drama. I don't mind sad ending if it makes sense, so I'm curious how this drama handles the ending.
It seems to me that Qi only allowed the closest person to her to call her Qi. Others in the group called her Miss…
Yeah I can see that qi is childlike, her affection for Jinzhao is very pure and simple. Before she understood about love, she always talks about wanting to be with him forever or wanting to protect him, so her understanding about love is childlike and more a feeling of affection and wanting to always be with him without understanding too much about the feeling between the opposite sex until she was asked by jinzhao and then later as they separated from each other, she started to grows and understand her feeling for him as not just familial. I wonder how old is she supposed to be in human years as she's not human so her age is different to how human measures their age. Since bian luo huan said he was with her for 12 years, then if she was a baby and it's been three years since she was with Jin zhao then that means in human years she's just 15 years old, for Jin zhao I assume he's also a teenager around the same age maybe 2 or 3 years older, and how old is bian luo huan, if he was ten years old when he met qi then he could be in his twenties now.
When I listened to Bai Jue's reasoning to revive Shang Gu.. I noped the f out, what he is doing/did is selfish…
Baijue is nothing like that daughter of wuhuan. He wants her to live and even in a world without him in it. His sacrifice is silent and he never wants her to fall in love with him again, what happened with qingmu and houchi was because of fate interfere and made them fall for each other. Baijue was planning to die in her place without anyone being the wiser, and she keeps living her life as her wish when she was dying was to not be a goddess and live a normal life.
ALP is my favorite Xu Kai drama. I hate it when I see people write that Xu Kai is best known for his appearance…
Agree I thought his acting in alp was great, zdy is well known for movie roles and was regarded as a top tier actress, xukai's performance was able to match her his characters baijue and qingmu or yue Jinzhao and bian luo huan in sf6 were portrayed with heart in these double roles. Alp is also a favorite drama of mine, I can rewatch small clips and get nostalgic for this drama ^^
A question for anyone who has seen both Royal Feast and Court Lady. Does XK have more, about the same, or less…
Xukai screen times in court lady was less than in royal feast. Court lady is a full court drama with many side characters and if you like drama with court politics it's a very good drama to watch. In beginning the drama was full of comedy, but it changed and became much more serious in the middle and end. Even though he doesn't have much screen times, he made the most of it. He got more screen times towards end of drama ^^
Bian luo huan affection for qi is kind of cute, he falls in love with her since he saw her as a baby. Is this what you would consider an affection for a pet as she was just a little fish when he took her home and care for her. Qi was so mean to tell him Jin zhao is the only one who can call her name. Why does he has to take away all her memories or lies to her when they met again. She now thinks he's only using her when he showed he does cares a lot about her. His sister said to qi he promised not to use resonance with her, but he broke his promise to save her, why can't he use resonance with her, and why does he get injured when he used it when Jin zhao doesn't have any negative effect from using resonance with qi. From his conversation with his brother, their purposely intended for Jin zhao to resonate with qi because his resonance is stronger than bian luo huan, does that mean qi can only resonate with only one person, if another person forced it it will caused him injury as is the case with bian luo huan?
I don't blame maiming for what he did, his soul was trapped in rehai in order to obtain water in a desert, and as a result the luo family twins were cursed to die young. He has been reincarnated many times in 200 years and has been looking for ways to undo the spell to free himself, he's cruel for sacrificing the whole clan, but I can understand why he would do such a thing as he thinks the whole luo clan owe him. His only affection is for his twin sister, him compare himself to a demon showed how much suffering he has endured not being able to step outside of the luo mansion. So his power came from rehai, once he gave it up, he became a human again and is not as strong as he used to be and can be hurt easily as xian qing could hurt him when he couldn't before, even a weak human could hurt him.
I love Xu Kai and Esther. They were so cute together but I lost interest toward the end. I don't know what it…
This drama does have an unusual schedule, maybe that's the reason why you loss interest since I'm still waiting for the rest of the eps. Also this drama is not only focuses on romance, so it might turn off some viewers who're looking for romance. It's adapted from a videogame so i heard from the game perspective and those gamers who love the videogame, it did what it set out to do to restore the game into a drama version and it's getting praise for that. This drama is very light on romance this is because of the source material is made for younger audiences, the focus is on their adventure and finding out the mystery about their past.
