I'm watching on YouTube and it's only update to ep 12. I'm tempted to find other sites to watch more eps though because 1 EP a day is not enough. This drama keeps getting better and better as you keep watching. I didn't want to watch preview in case of spoilers, but I find it hard not to spoil myself as everyone else has watched much farther.

He always has really pretty eyes, in the legend the fl describes his eyes as beautiful as the stars and I kind of agree ^^

That father of lini is so ungrateful, he rescued him from the hands of that general and he has no words of thanks. He seems to appreciate useless gestures from his two oldest sons instead, is he stupid or what to complain about his son's method if he didn't take the risk he wouldn't have been rescued. That rescue scene of lini is so cool, riding on his horse and using his bow and arrows , if lini hasn't come in time cuilin and her mister would've died, now they owe lini a debt of gratitude for saving their lives. That sfl is planning something by wanting to take care of Lini's father, is she wanting to get in between lini and cuilin. It's obvious to everyone both of them have a thing for each other. I hope the sfl and sml won't ruin things for the main leads relationship.

Probably some of those who rated down this drama are those who afraid this drama will blow up and their favorites dramas will be lower rated. There were some people who has nothing better to do than complain about the rating of this drama back when it just started. Just ignore the rating, it will go up by itself as more people watch and realize this is a solid production like what happened in ancient love poetry, the rating goes up after drama ended, and stay constant because of the quality of the drama.

Voice over is in many cdramas so it's not something that would makes me stop watching. Sometimes I even watched foreign shows with English dub over and has no problem enjoying them. I'm surprised there're some people who would stop watching something due to it being dub. Also is fl that bad, not sure about her other shows since I didn't watch, but I thought she played her character well for the most part. She could be more expressive, but I thought this character is made for her.

Whatever it's all makes believe anyway. Who cares whether they're fake. Aren't you watching dramas to escape from reality, what makes you think those who watch these dramas don't understand they're fictional. Being perfect means being romantic, a woman dreams to meet her perfect man, obviously he's not real since real guy wouldn't behave like they do, being understanding, putting her feeling over his, being a family guy, this is why it's called romance and it's a genre on its own. Kind of weird you're demanding an imaginary character on paper to be a real life person. For you to question this genre, it just means you're not its intended target. If you don't like something you can stop watching anytime, all you're doing is complain about something that's irrelevant, when you know very well it won't change anything. If you want to complains, do it to the writers, why do you complain about the fl and ml, they're just written characters who behave as how they were written.

There's no justification on abandoning a husband and child, but there's something called a broken mind, when someone is not who they're anymore, when they're reduced to committing suicide, they're not in their right mind, just like you don't put to trial someone who went insane and committed a heinous crime since the argument is they're not of sounds mind. To complains about the fl, who was made to feel worthless and useless by the people close to ml, who has no power to defend herself against those who meant her harm, ml put her in a position where she was reduced to become a blinded person with no one close to her, and she loss her senses, and you dare to judge her. Whatever let just end this discussion, we have our own opinion. Just because she's the mother, does not mean the child is only her responsibility, the child was actually in more capable hand with the ml than fl. For her to erase her own memory just shows how broken she was after what happened, if she didn't regain her power, she would've died. Her teacher wasn't just someone she owe respect to, he was the one who taught her everything she knew, as well as the one who saved her life, so she owe him a debt of gratitude. If ml thinks he owe her an apology than it just means he is a more open minded person and think with his mind rather than his ego. Willing to apologize when you're wrong is not easy for everyone, it takes a magnanimous person to willing to analyze their wrongs and accept their own mistakes. There's nothing shameful in what ml did, it actually makes me has more respect for him.

Ep 10 is when they declared their feelings for each other ^^

Chemistry is subjective, I like all xukai's pairing still now, and I have to say xukai and jingtian are also another great pairing. I just love how they both compete with one another in everything. They're made for each other ^^

Yeah agree I also read novel and think the drama adapted really well. Too bad about the cut otherwise it would've been a perfect drama ^^

I think this is all due to the controversy with CP fans, some can be toxic and after his pairing with bailu when they were rumor to be dating and they got lots of negative press I think he learned to stay away from such pairing.

If writers has psychological issues, then what do you call viewers who watch those dramas and like it.

I agree with you for the most part since ml is written much more perfect than fl, but this is the problem with viewers wanting a more perfect mls while liking a realistic fls. If fl was written as too perfect they're call boring, while it's not the same for mls, they just automatically get accepted no matter what. That's why I'm usually on the side of the fls since they're usually get hate no matter how they're written.

For ten miles, you're comparing ml to fl's teacher, maybe in your mind her teacher is just another male, but in Chinese culture a teacher is a position of respect, and fl has always respected her teacher, she was taught by her teacher for many years before she even knew ml, Is that even a fair comparison. Also you're saying she dumped her new born, ask yourself who in their right mind would ever give up their own child, to be reduce to such a state means she was at such a low point that the only way out for her was jumping to escape such a life. I can't say the same for ml, she was human he was a god who couldn't protect his wife and let his parents dictate how he live his life. Taking her eyes essentially took her life since she can't appreciate life anymore since she can't even see her own child. I don't blame her for doing what she did since I can see how they pressure her to the point that she snapped imagine a strong woman being pushed to such a state,so I think it's only fair that he was force to take care of their child since he couldn't protect his own wife.

I like her character and can understand his fascination towards her. It's not everyday you will find a girl who can compete with you and comes out winning. I like that she's not like any normal girl who falls in love and forgot all her responsibility. Ml didn't have it easy true, but he was living outside of the palace so he doesn't has to abide by any rules, fl has a much stricter upbringing by living with her father's army, she has to prove herself to get respected. I don't know what you mean by betraying him since they were on opposite sides at the time, so she has to think for her own side not just about love. I think it's totally in her character to do what she did, and he also expect that from her since he also the leader of his own army.

Can someone tell me why the airing schedules keep changing. Is it because this drama becomes more popular, or is this the same for all dramas?

I'm glad to hear you're giving alp a chance. That was the drama I rewatch the most in all of xukai's dramas. I'm thinking this drama will be another one I will enjoy rewatching ^^

They had weird priorities. His acting was so good in alp he was also good in falling into your smile, but they were more worried about how he looked than the plot, no wonder alp and falling into your smile got such poor rating, all due to these antifans.
