I understand your view you want xukai to be more popular than he is now, but you should already know that is not what he wanted, popularity is fleeting, he has always been working to become a better actor. What he want is to last in this industry and be acknowledge for his acting. If you're a fan than you should not compare him to another actor or want him to be like someone else. I don't know why you keep bringing up different actor to compare him to, they all have different career choices. All those actors you compare him to might've gotten a lucky break, or was able to break out from a popular drama or got better agency who fought for them unlike xukai who is stuck doing dramas that keep taking his screentimes and given to lesser roles because his agency doesn't protect him and only uses him to promote new actors/actresses.

Yeah whoever participated to slander him he should sue them and if it was done by his agency he should leave them and start afresh. I heard he has already sued those who participated in the slander and they have to take down their posts. It's unacceptable to post slander and cyber bullying and more need to be done about this, these actors face constant criticisms from the public, they're humans, they're not saints no wonder some even attempted suicide because of the daily pressure being made on them.

Agree the many colors of txw outfits are eye catching same with xk outfits with the many colors that are subdue but still highlight his striking good look ^^

From what critics, i don't know what you mean by not being at that level because lots of times a role is given to an A list actor for just their popularity not because of their acting alone. In cent it's more about popularity not about acting only that why so many actors don't get the opportunity not because they're not good actors but because the roles were given to actors more popular than them. Liu yu ning was already popular for his singing so he gotten his roles because of his popularity and influence not because of his acting. Sometimes they rise up to the challenge, sometimes they don't and get criticized. Even then they will be defended by their fans regardless. They're what you call idols. Xukai is an actor he has been filming for 9 years nonstop every year he filmed 3-4 dramas so he has gain lots of experiences from acting, how do you even make such a comparison between actors who are idols and actors who filmed constantly and gain experiences through their roles. I watch xukai for his acting and don't need to be told what is good acting and what isn't. Even a good actor can't save a drama if it has bad editing or bad writing. Critics love to blame everything on the actor like they're responsible for everything wrong with the drama, but it just show their own jealousy and envy because their favorites are not getting the same attention probably and these critics don't even watch the dramas they criticized 😆

You might be right about those rumors hurting him and cause him to lose brand sponsors when normally after a successful drama he would be getting more sponsor deals, but it could also be a good thing letting him get more rest after constant filming and being follow. It's the fans who are getting anxious not knowing his schedule and being kept in the dark about what is going on if he's still on break or is he being black listed because of those smear campaign against him.

Liu yu ning is a singer so he probably does need improvement in acting as his main job is singing before he venture into acting. He was also very lucky to get offer a good role that many like and then getting more oppunity to star in popular dramas. Every actor has a different beginning and starting point, no one is the same, xukai has improve his acting from since he started acting in 2016, with every role he gain more experienced as an actor because his acting is about being immersive, it's what attracted fans to his style of acting.
