He is not constantly caught in dating scandal. Where do you hear this from, it's just black marketing and negative rumors, he is an easy target for black marketing because an ex girlfriend falsely accused him of cheating when he was a new actor. They try to pull him down many times but he just come back stronger. Dating is not a crime he's single and if he want to date let him. This girl doesn't even have any pics of them being together so she's lying, plus she waited three years to accused him of cheating? That is totally bogus story. Xukai is not so foolish to risk his career, he has been working nonstop when does he has time to date. And for your information he is a regular lead every year, he filmed 3 or 4 dramas a year he rarely has times for a break.

This is what sad about cent, rumors like this could ruin an actor without needing to be true because they're in the public eye any negative rumors can be amplify to turn public opinion against them. I heard his agency and lawyer already issue a public statement and report her to the law. The law is slow moving that is why those who want to pull him down could use these negative rumors to cause more damage to his reputation. You're right this operation seem suspicious and targeted xukai when mr has just aired and he is about to shoot a new drama. They want to turn public opinion against him i heard the chinese are different from the west, they will automically assume you're guilty until you can prove your innocent. That's why so many in cent has been blacklisted in the past for just any negative rumors. Xukai has return to doing advertising so i think he has been proven innocent in the gambling incident. For the dating rumor this girl took three years to accused him of cheating, i would not take her words or anything she said seriously. She is just using public opinion to attack him because he refused to acknowledge her probably just a stalker fan who want to be notice.

The characters that i think are boring are book demon and rat demon they've too many scenes that could've been given to the main leads instead. The big boss fight was a disapointment after being told how powerful he is, some of the earlier fight scenes are better don't know if this is because they ran out of money or because they were force to cut due to censorship?

Now that i've finished this drama i want to rant, i saw an Avenuex video that talked about this drama back when this drama just aired and what she said about xk and txw characters are so inaccurate that i find it sad that so many will be missing such a good drama by listening to her review. Does watching only to 10 eps really say anything about a drama that has 38 eps, and to say things like xk and txw don't know their characters hello you watched only 10 eps what do you expect, it's you that don't know their characters. Xk and txw embody their characters perfectly, mzy is detached from the world until he met wz and fallen in love with her, mzy and wz both have dual identities that they hide from the outside world.

Wz was able to show her catlike personality very well being carefree and doesn't care about gossip or propriety, acting like a big sister to many of her male childhood friends, it's not her fault they all fallen in love with her, she is not just powerful as a cat lord in the demon underworld she also has power and wealth in the human world her sister is the empress and her father is a duke. She is a good catch for young men who're looking for a wife and powerful relations. She also is really picky as she still has not marry at her age until she met mzy and gradually fallen for him. He is unlike any young men she met before, he does not try to please her or bow down to her demands, he understood her and listen to her, he didn't try to change her. She also like his dedication to his job without caring for power or promotion.

This drama is not perfect but still a very good drama to spend time on. It has great cinematography, some good fight scenes and many intetesting characters to explore.

When wz was crying over mzy i got a bit emotional. In other to save the world she has to kill her lover. The last ep they didn't have to play the opening to give us a longer ending. Mzy chose to have the infant core inside his body instead of wz when he met his father, so it was suppose to be him who was suppose to hold the core inside his body but wz was attacked by the demonic infant instead of him because of the lantern she was holding, so cat lord transfer his power and the infant core into her body when he died. I think even if he was not the one selected to have the core inside his body he would've done it anyway to protect her. When wz said she is sorry to mzy that her love for him as a demon doesn't measure up to his as a mortal my understanding is she is talking about the life span of a mortal is shorter than the life span of a demon. She thought of being with him for a short time thinking he was a mortal when his love for her would've been a life time as a mortal. So by stabbing him and destroy the demonic infant he died as a mortal and wake up as a cat demon like his father. His father as the former cat lord must've a plan in place to protect his son from the infant core that why he was growing the zhuyu plant. That zhuyu demon told mzy he can help him in the future, is what he mean is he can save his life in the future when his life is in danger? We saw mzy was sleeping at the end so that mean wz was able to save mzy with the zhuyu plant.

So it's a happy ending, we saw at the end of the credit wz is pregnant and now that both mzy and wz are demons they will live happily ever after. The soul switch at the end was unexpected, so wz get the best of both world not having to carry a big belly while being pregnant 😂

So that book demon really means it when he said if wz doesn't need a book then he will destroy it, he really committed suicide because he's not needed by wz anymore. What a worthless death, what does he want to accomplish making her feel guilty for his death? He deserves it hearing wz said she doesn't need his love or any of the things he has done for her to become a full demon.

How has wz become a full demon? I thought she has to go into seclusion for 100 years to become a full demon, but she didn't have to do that and still able to become a full demon. Is this has to do with what she has learn at changxi palace. Second brother even gave her a changxi weapon for learning cultivation.

How did mzy open that prison door when only a demon lord can open it? Does that mean he has always been a half demon without realizing it since his dad is the former cat lord. Does his master know this about him?

Cat lord transfer his power to wz and uses her to suppress the core of the demonic infant, now that mzy went back to the past, did he stop cat lord from transfering the infant core to wz and transfer to him instead? Is that why he has demon boils like wz had before?

What do you mean by it's everywhere. Every actors/actresses do have anti fans the more popular they're the more they're follow by jealousy and envy. Just ignore them xukai understood that very well.

How did that rat demon became so powerful to defeat both snake lord and the snake demon. That book demon scheming with rat demon to target snake lord for her scale i wonder if this has to do with freeing the demonic infant. Poor black snake, he's such a good friend to meisi to using his last strength to free him and fighting to protect him from rat demon. Meisi should've slap that rat demon a few more times rather than just giving him one slap since he's in danger regardless.

Those people are probably jealous of xukai if they're disrespecting him, their current favorites must not be as popular or have as good resources as him. Xukai just has to be himself to get hated for no reason. He's hard working and is good nature and deserve his success, if they can't accept that then they're just bitter people.

Turn out mzy spirit travel to the past but his body is still in the present. Does child mzy recognizes his future self, that why he is not scare of him? So the former cat lord is mzy's dad how come he doesn't remember his dad, he only realizes he was his dad after child mzy called out to him. Didn't think mzy's dad is so handsome and his mother is beautiful. How did his mother died?

Wz finally wake up and remember everything, is she cure or is she still has to change her body? So she has cure her demonic boils but how is she cure? What did mzy do to cure her? The changxi people say she is blessed and it's not them that has cure her what do they mean?

Wz doesn't seem to be angry with mzy anymore, she even reminisce their times together and smile has she forgiven him?

Feel bad for the black snake not being able to transcend because he can't stop worrying about meisi and his relationship with snake lord.

This drama has too many flashbacks, i think they could've cut back some of the flashbacks to give a longer ending since a few people have been complaining about the ending being too short. I also would've like less scenes of book demon and that elder rat demon, whenever they appear they're really boring 🤔

Finally we got the real reason for why snake lord is so cold to meisi. It also answer my question about why snake lord is a full demon because the real lady liu has already died 10 years ago. That assistant of lady liu words to meisi is really intuitive, didn't know he could be so eloquent. Hopefully he can talk some sense into meisi even though the real lady liu has died 10 years ago is his love still the same 10 years later since he has known snake lord for 10 years, is his love the same as his love to the real lady liu or has it change since snake lord and the real lady liu has nothing in common?

Mzy has finally decides to travel back in time to 18 years ago in order to find a cure for wz. What a unselfish love, he is willing to risk his life to save her by meeting the demonic infant 18 years before to look for clue in the past if anything goes wrong he could be trap in time. Didn't know the changxi palace has such a powerful device that can let someone travel to the past. Wz has been able to shield the infant core in her body for 18 years, but her body is so weak that it can't shield the infant core in her body any longer.

That book demon and rat demon are working together what are they planning. The demonic infant 18 years ago want to subjugate humans but was stop by the former cat lord, are they planning to free the infant core in wz body so it can fulfill its intention of subjugating the humans. What is book demon planning how is he going to save wz when he's working with rat demon who has bad intention toward her?

Yeah i got to that ep. Finally we got a reason why snake lord is a full demon unlike wz who is only a half demon because the real lady liu has already died.

I got to that ep, so the real reason has been reveal why lady liu has been cold to meisi all along, she is not the real lady liu, the real one has already died 10 years ago.

True the fl didn't like ml at first but eventually was charmed by him. She was also the reason for his change from a bad boy to a more responsible man. Too bad for prince zhou being he met her after she already has fallen for ml and they're already engage to be married. Only she wasn't impress with his title even if he was a better catch. And i don't think she would like to marry to a prince either losing all her freedom, being tied to the palace and with that mother of his controlling her. At first she couldn't refuse because he uses his title to force her to go along, later on she saw him as a friend but he still manipulate her to do his bidding and causes misunderstanding between the fl and ml.

The meeting of wz with all of mzy's sect brothers was so funny. The way everyone wouldn't let the one guy they thought was disaproving of wz from talking and he only want to ask whether mzy and wz will share a room. Even though the both of them are married they still have to observe propriety. That moment when mzy came out of wz room and his sect brothers were looking at him weird eyes 🤣 Mzy gotten jealous when wz was watching other men practicing half naked, he was about to show off for her after she question whether he has better physique 🤣🤣

Meisi and the black snake has become such good friends that he's now advocating for meisi to snake lord. I have a bad feeling something will happens to black snake when he's about to become a dragon, i'm already spoil what will happen to him but i'm still a bit sad to see it he finally found a friend in a human after being bully by demons and put in prison. He is finally free and about to become a dragon as he wishes but he is still worry for his friend so he asked lady liu to look after meisi. What a beautiful friendship. Even though he's an extra he's not annoying and didn't overstay his welcome like a certain book demon.
