It's a slow burn romance, and i disagree with you they have great chemistry once it gets going. In the beginning ml was resisting and avoided the fl because he can't fall in love per his sect rule, but once he left his sect and finally admitted his feeling they romance was fire.

I heard it's a double ml drama but then i heard it also has a fl so don't know what this is anymore. I don't care either way just hope he will get good screentimes that's all that matters. Some of his past dramas even when he's ml he got less screentimes than some of the supports, let hope this is not the case for this drama and his future dramas.

No his agency doesn't protect him. In china just having a negative rumor can ruin your career. I don't follow bailu and esther yu so i don't know whether they're targeted or not but yuzheng seem to treat his actresses better than his actors so bailu and other actresses in his agency are better protected compare to his actors who are left to fend for themselves. I been hearing esther is facing allegation of bullying and from her father tax scandal so it doesn't matter who they're they can be targeted as they became more popular just depend on how their agency handle it. Xukai was unlucky to be caught in a scandal spread by his ex when he started his acting career so cnetz are more incline to believe any negative rumors about him that why he was especially targeted as he became popular and is a threat to whomever he competed with. Cent is toxic it's better not to believe everything you heard because they're probably made up to bring someone down. Recently i heard something like this it doesn't matter if xukai is replace because someone else can take his place, that is scary to me because this kind of thinking is what could ruin an actor/actress rep/ career just over an unsubtantiated slander.

I'm also looking forward to more ml centric dramas from xk, he deserves more screentimes as many of his dramas are fl centric; i'm also a fan and watched almost all his dramas. I felt the same as you that his acting career is affected by these false scandals that surrounded him. The chinese are much more judgemental on their actors than other countries, they don't need to see any evidences before judging them guilty just base on slander. It looks like we will only have 1 drama from him this year and you're probably right it has to do with the slander after moonlit reunion aired that causing his dramas to be delay.

Agree with you, xukai role feel more like a guest role and the mom should be put as main role. The slight romance tag would be more accurate.

It's on disney in the us, i heard it's only avalaible on viki and tencent in certain regions. The people who watched on disney also has to wait a week later to watch during its broadcast.

Alp is like my favorite xianxia drama and it's so much more than just a time leap circus like you said, the ml hide stuff from the fl that is true, alp is not the only drama that does this, he has a good reason for everything he did. He never plan to fall in love with her after spending hundred of thousands of years to help her reborn. He was planning to die before she wakes up not wanting her to mourn his death or have to sacrifice her life for the world a second time. You want to like whatever dramas you want but don't try to bashing alp which has a very good reputation as one of the better xanxia compare to the new ones that just came out 😅

Did you just said bce doesn't have emotional depth, it's fine if you rated moonlight mystique high since it's base on your taste, but comparison about two different dramas one is about family the other is a xanxia that has similar tropes of multiples xanxia that were released each year then i have to question whether you even watch 37 eps of bce to make such a statement. Many people actually like dramas that are focus on family and that is why bce is showing on tv rather than just online as a web drama that follows the xianxia genre that has been criticized as being overrun by these types of dramas that been released constantly every year compare to a unique family drama like bce that focuses on a mother and daughter relationship as well as the struggle of the daughter to maintain her independent 🙄
