Thanks for your answer, I didn't know better days was adapted from a novel by the same author. Both Zhou dongyu and the ml gotten lots of recognition for that movie . From what you said the author write the best mls then I'm even more excited to see how xukai will play the ml in this drama, I'm sure he can play ceo he has so much experience from playing generals/prince/king in his historical dramas. I'm also intrigued by the ml of waiting for you in a city, would like to see him as a high schooler, with his youthful look he would pull it off no problem ^^

I would say xukai looks the best in this drama compare to his other dramas. Just love all his costumes in this one, even the white outfit looks so ordinary but still looks good on him. Btw do people watching dramas only for the actors look, I would assume plot and characters, good cgi, good soundtracks would be the most important in drawing viewers since there're so many xanxia dramas nowaday, how to judge a good one. This drama has it all, beside the short ending. Looking forward to the sequel the last immortal ^^

That's true when he was a model. I heard he used to smoke to stayed thin, and he has quit smoking so he gains some weight after that. I like him in story of yanxi palace, falling into your smile and ancient love poetry, he just looks so healthy with his cheeks fuller but there were some anti fans who called him fat and that could be the reason why he diet to become thinner. The Chinese has a weird beauty standard some of those actors and actresses i seen on screen were so thin and need to gain some weights.

Is the novel you talked about anything like this novel, and is the ml anything like the ml in this one since you said xukai fit the ml in the other novel. You made me curious about the other novel so just want to ask ^^

Yeah in many interviews he said he doesn't like to be idle. Acting is also his passion. Xukai is one hardworking guy, but I do think he should get some rest in between projects he looks so much skinnier now than before.

So xukai is regular member this time. What is the air date does anyone knows.

Actually the only way you can watch a drama and rate it honestly is if you watch it to the end. I watched this twice so I guess for me this drama is worth it for me to watch all the way to the end and rewatching it again so my rating stand. It's not too serious so the acting of the lead actress does not take me out of the drama like so many have complained, and I find the romance between the leads are really cute the way she kind of idolizing him and then starting to see him as someone who is not so perfect due to her color tinted glasses. This is relatable for many who follow idols, and the topic of cyber bullying is also really interesting even if you're not into video games.

If you like xukai you should stick with it til their second life. He played three roles in this one, in the first few eps he wear mostly white, later his outfits will change to include more colors. I especially like him in his war outfit as well as in black and gray. The fl has lots of growth in this drama as she goes through training. It's your choice though, this is my favorite drama of xukai so just want to give my recommendation.

I'm looking forward to that since I love drama with fl and ml's growths, as well as a balance in business and romance since I'm one of the few who don't like focus only on romance in my drama watching. I also hope for lots of screen time to the leads unlike in sahph where support roles get too much screen time compare to ml.

I agree about sahph, but Alp in my opinion xukai has lots of exposure as a result it's one of my favorite dramas of his when it's clearly fl centric drama, and I just loves him in that one, he was my favorite character in that drama ^^
