After watching a few eps, I feel the fl is not bad at all as an actress as some complaints. I think she does a good job with this role, she fits with her character. I'm seeing the main leads are starting to warm up to each other, xue ying always involved jing qiu whenever something came up, I'm liking their chemistry. Also even though sfl is pursuing xue ying I don't find her annoying, she's really smart and I think she will have a romantic line with bai shu character. I think they're also a cute couple. The two brothers, I find the older brother is not a bad person, he appears to be the best with his control in magic among the group of students, while the younger brother is constantly being the butt of a joke. Kind of funny both of girls the two brothers like both like xue ying ^^ The sfl younger brother is kind of forgettable but he's not a bad person.
this is the best version i have seen of Xu Kai in a while....He has been in so many boring dramas last few years…
I like most of the dramas he's in. My complaints has nothing to do with him but everything to do with editing due to censorship,and the ending didn't deliver to my satisfaction like loss in Kunlun mountain. Hope snow eagle lord will give us a good ending, having a good start but bad ending is what many cdramas failed.

It's not xanxia, it's xuanhuan dealings with humans, demons, and cultivation. The set up is interesting and there're still lots of mysteries to explore about their world if you're curious about the world they're living in. There're no gods in this drama like in xanxia, and they're living in the human world and not dealing with the heaven realm. I'm still not understanding about whether the fl is immortal or not since her power is cool but she's not that strong yet since she said she couldn't advance anymore so she needs to enroll in a school to study magic, the same with the ml who just awaken his power and has to enroll in a school to learn to control his power etc.

It's a good drama if you're watching for storyline and martial arts. Lots of people have problems with vfx I think it's too the point and I like the fighting scenes so it's up to your taste.

I'm excusing him not really I just think baijue and qingmu are two different people so qingmu having a relationship with houchi was outside of baijue's plan. That's why I don't blame him for what he did since I understood why he did it, he made a plan and he chose to stick to it knowing he will die in the future. Yes we can say he could choose love, but this is not just a romance genre, it's a fantasy about the gods and immortals, they're held to a much higher standard than humans, they're being who will sacrifice their lives for the greater good just like what shanggu and baijue did. I also felt they are also more forgiving in the way they dealt with their love ones that's why even though baijue hurt shanggu, all she could think of is how much he suffered for her to save her lives rather than how he abandoned her. Both of them are similar type who would put duty over love.

This drama really want us to know the names of each technique the person uses, I wonder if it's trying to appeal to a certain audiences. I think there wouldn't be so much criticism if the vfx was of higher quality.
also the way they suddenly show a cartoonish picture of the character, that's so out of place and unnecessary
I wonder if it was trying to mimic a comic book with the constant use of animation arts on the screen. I don't have a problem with it but felt the art style could've been done much better to make it more closer to the real person, but it just looks cartoonist.
It's still a mystery. My guess xue ying mother power can awaken ancient blood line, so I assume by awakening ancient blood line your power will become exponentially stronger that why his uncle kidnapped his mother.
His scenes with his mother when he went to rescue her is so emotional, he risk his life to save her but wasn't strong enough and gotten really injured. The two uncles of xueying are so loyal and caring, both brothers were raised by them when they loss their parents. I'm really liking their family dynamic, how caring they were to the two brothers and taking care of them. Xueying and his brother are so lucky to have them as family. Also really like how caring the brothers are to each other. I'm really liking xukai character in this drama he's so strong and smart and also really talented to go from not having any power to gain power in such a short time. Can't wait to see how his character will develop ^^
That's my favorite parts of the drama watching him doing spear practice. It's looks so fluid I just love it. Everytime he's fighting I'm just blows away by how well he handles that spear. The little xueying and his brother are cute but I'm liking them better as adults since we get to see them being more brotherly to each other. I can see how much they care for each other and both of them thinking for each other, xue ying didn't want his brother to take any risks so he's protecting him by doing things alone, while his younger brother wants to train to become stronger to help his brother.
Watching to ep 2 and I'm liking the story. I'm also used to the vfx and in my opinion it not as bad as some claimed.
