What's Zhou da wei going to play in this drama. He was xukai's younger brother in court lady, so was wondering if will play a similar role in this drama.

Thanks for the recommendations, if I have time I'll look them up. Some of these titles I have heard before...I always love strong fl so I'm sure I'll enjoy that one. For this drama, I didn't feel the age gap was that big, so it wasn't a big deal for me, so the chemistry between the two came from their natural interaction as they developed feeling for each other. I felt it's much more realistic and not fake. This is not just a romantic drama but also a workplace drama that has lots of focus on fl career and work-life, as a result it might not satisfy those who are only in it for the romance. For me I didn't mind the focus on fl career and like it for the most part, my only complaint is too much screen time on support characters as oppose to the main CP and I would've like the ml backstory to be introduce much earlier rather than later like it did here. The ending was also kind of short after their time out.

I'm not a Zhao lusi fan, but I think you shouldn't let one comment ruin your enjoyment of a good drama. That person in the comment is a hater of alp, and I think he/she might've been commenting negatively on Alp discussion as well. That does not mean he/she is a Zhao lu si fan, that person is just trying to make trouble and trying to ruin the sequel to Alp like what they were doing on Alp's discussion page. I doubt that person even watch Alp to said such stupidity as Alp is a copy of eternal love, when eternal love was accused of plagiarism. I watched both dramas and think Alp is better than eternal love, both are good dramas and I'm sure this drama will be as well due to the source material.

My only problem with it is the ending was too short otherwise I felt it tied up well for the most part. The musics for this drama is one of the reasons I love this drama so much, it appears exactly at the right time so have to disagree with you. There's going to be a sequel about the main leads' son if you're interested. I think it's started filming not long ago so don't know when it will air though.

Not saying you do since you did say you have no problem with their age difference. However that just how I noticed how a lot of these older women and younger men dramas, it's the women that get insulted over being older and it's automatically no chemistry due to that. I think for this drama the chemistry is the gradual build up of their relationship, and it's more about brain and personality attraction rather than over looks. Also this is a such a change in gender roles for the woman and man as a result it's not popular in mainstream media compare to a more traditional romance like let said lighter and princess... I noticed some people were making a comparison between that drama and this one.

I disagree, the chemistry between the actors are just fine. Maybe you just don't like age gap between the fl and ml compare to the old fashioned age gap. I see this a lot in dramas where nobody has a problem when it comes to the males being older but as soon as the females were to be older she would be insulted for being too old or not compatible with the males. Weird logic since I watched many dramas with xukai played with older actresses I didn't see any problem, but there will always be those who put down the fls due to liking a certain pairings. Also since this is a drama about an older woman and younger man I actually felt it did a good job highlighting the difference in their age and thinking in term of being compatible with each other. The two individuals are very logical due to their careers and personalities as a result you can see them having so many conversations as they draw closer together. I think both of them are drawn towards each other due to their admiration of the other's qualities and that's they both are very intelligent people.

I think in novel he grows into a young man while shanggu waited for baijue for 500 years. The drama didn't show that however.

We have a different opinion since I love the roles switch between them. Yang mi character was the more experience older woman while xukai character was the shy and reserved partner. Their awkwardness felt real and natural and is it just me that find it hard to believe in real intimacy unless I see progress in their relationship as going from strangers to friends to lovers. I like the slow pace and how gradually they fell for each other, it felt real and not force like some romance dramas that goes straight to kissing. Also if you're with your partner you want to act cute with them, so her baby talk when she's with him showed her feeling for him, she's only that way with him. I think it made her cuter knowing how tough she's on the outside, but when she's around him she's showing another side of herself she doesn't show to other people. Also how is he too young, he's playing his age and in my opinion he's more mature than her ex at least he made it clear to his parents his feeling and didn't leave her hanging like her ex did.

The age gap wasn't a big deal and the chemistry was amazing. In my opinion what matter is not the age gap but how the characters are written, both of them are mature individuals who deal with problems like sensible people. The age gap that was hard to swallow for me is the ex boyfriend and his fiance, the reason is how her character was written, she's just too immature compare to him. Find it hard to understand nobody even mentioned this, is it because it's the guy that is much older? Is there some kind of gender bias going on lol.

Which one shoot first, longest promise or snow eagle lord do you know. Usually the one that shoots first get to air first. I was just excited hearing a march release date, but it's better to get a final confirmation than believe in rumor.

Heard snow eagle lord will be airing march to April of this year is this true? I'm awaiting the trailer, there's no news for this drama even though the rumor it's going to air soon.

This drama han ting is like a supermodel, he's shows to be wearing all expensive clothes and lots of vests and he looks so good in them ^^
