I remember watching bts of him learning Korean, so this is due to the dubbing not in sync I suppose. Not understanding why there's a need for dubbing since xukai was showed in BTS to use his own voice when speaking his parts.

I kind of feel bad for him though to be constantly called fat everytime he gained some weights. It was especially bad in ancient love poetry.

Not sure why you would say something like the story is not good when this drama was adapted from a novel and has an anime adaptation and looks to be popular with the fans. I'm liking the story and hope it will be similar to once upon a time in lingjian mountain with lots of focus on the ml's growths so I think it has potential to be a hit. Don't know how big is the romance but I don't think her acting will be so bad that will turned me off the drama like falling into your smile lots of viewers were badmouthing Cheng xiao acting, but I still find it enjoyable and wasn't turned off by her acting...

It used to be but there's a new rule from what I heard, the second part will air 4 months after the first.

Liking the trailer showing xukai and gulli nazha characters working together. The trailer looks like it will be all action, but can't judge the drama from a single trailer. I'm waiting for the airing time ^^

Same thinking, why split the drama into two parts and air them four months apart. Doesn't make sense other than to make people lose interest in watching a drama that won't finish 😭

What with this new rule, doesn't make much sense to air the drama so far apart. It's the same drama but to air it so far apart might make people who want to watch lose interest in it. Can't understand why they keep changing the rules it's like they've nothing to do but coming up with stupid stupid rules dramas can't be over 40 eps and have to be divided into two parts and now can't air right after the first part finished 😔

Let's hope what you said is true. Like what happened to ancient love poetry and falling into your smile ^^ I hope both dramas will get the attention they deserve for the hard work put in by the casts, I just hate when dramas get ruin by bad editing or the ending being cut.

Funny you said that, I remember hearing xukai was criticized and compare to the other male actors in arsenal military academy for being too baby face and doesn't looks like a soldier, but after the drama aired it was him that got the most praised and also a best actor award for that drama lol. Who said a CEO can't be babyface, He's also closer in age to han ting compare to Wang kai, not sure what's the big deal about being a CEO when he even played a general/prince/ king and even an ice cube god ^^

Are they truly coming together, there're no trailers for both dramas yet. Not sure whether tencent will air both dramas at the same time on the same network, or would it be better to air them one after another.

You're talking about story of yanxi palace, yeah that was the first drama I watched with xukai and I was so attracted to his character due to how mature he was. Don't have to force yourself if the drama didn't attract you, I'm the type who love dramas for the plot and characters that's why I became xukai's fan. Even when the dramas didn't do well, his characters still stand out even when he doesn't get much screen time. Fortunately for this one, he has lots of screen time and I just love that he got to play three roles in this drama ^^

So we'll get a trailer for snow eagle lord in the next week. Better than nothing I suppose, they're keeping us in anticipation by killing us slowly lol ^^

Thanks for your answer, I didn't know better days was adapted from a novel by the same author. Both Zhou dongyu and the ml gotten lots of recognition for that movie . From what you said the author write the best mls then I'm even more excited to see how xukai will play the ml in this drama, I'm sure he can play ceo he has so much experience from playing generals/prince/king in his historical dramas. I'm also intrigued by the ml of waiting for you in a city, would like to see him as a high schooler, with his youthful look he would pull it off no problem ^^

I would say xukai looks the best in this drama compare to his other dramas. Just love all his costumes in this one, even the white outfit looks so ordinary but still looks good on him. Btw do people watching dramas only for the actors look, I would assume plot and characters, good cgi, good soundtracks would be the most important in drawing viewers since there're so many xanxia dramas nowaday, how to judge a good one. This drama has it all, beside the short ending. Looking forward to the sequel the last immortal ^^
