The first indication of his feeling for her is when they finished a mission together and she found out he lied to her and he asked hongri for help to apologize to her. Until that point she already has strong feeling for him, while his feeling for her was still a mystery that why i said she fell for him first her feeling for him at first was a crush because she likes his good look and gradually become stronger as she start to understood him, the same with his opinion about her was change after seeing her hard work and he is start to see her as his student and start caring and being protective toward her.

It's the beginning of july, i'm hopeful this drama will be release in july 🙏

I hope this is all just fans speculation and is not true. Why would this producer want to trepadize his own drama ml just for yuzheng, that is too farfetch. Also about the funding that is even more ridiculous to think they don't have the funding for war/court/battle scenes. This drama is suppose to be S+ isn't it i find it hard to believe they can't film those scenes and is running out of funding. I hope those fans are wrong and the producer is just picky and just prioritize those scenes for later, let pray for the smooth shooting of this drama, there's more to a drama than having a good budget it's also having a good team behind it.

Good question, who is the screenwriter for this drama? Is the author of the novel also the screenwriter, that does happens sometimes when the screenwriter is also the author of the novel that could be the reason why the screenwriter name is not listed?

Who told you the novel is not good? From the synopsis i think it has potential to be a break out drama with xk and zy being the main leads. I been holding my excitement for this drama just from a few stills here and there and seeing xk in so many different color outfits i'm feeling this drama will give a completely different character from xk than we've seen before and i love a strong fl that i'm sure zy will be able to showcase base on the drama i seen her in she would make a nice pairing opposite xk ^^

I heard a while back xk contract with yuzheng was renew already? Don't know how true that is but xk can pick whatever dramas he want to be in without needing yuzheng approval. Even if he left his agency it will not be easy to set out on his own, he needs a competent team and they been failing him in his past projects by letting him be sideline too many times cause yuzheng want to promote new talents.

That was true in the past too but i think xk has a lot more say in his pick of dramas going forward, so we just have to wait and see, i hope xk scenes will not be cut and he will be treated with respect and will not be taken advantage of like in his past dramas when he didn't have lots of power in picking his own dramas.

I been following the behind the scene and i don't think that is true about the second ml having more scenes with fl, but i'm really not into love triangle so i hope the sml will have little screen time in this drama.

Lots of time dramas don't follow novel, i hope it will stick to novel but will give more screen times to ml since novel is fl centric i don't know if drama will follow the same line or will change to accommodate ml as he's the first lead. Is it truly going to end shooting in a month? I can't tell with this schedule, and how do these fans know these things ahead of time even before the production finish shooting, do they give update while filming? Let pray and hope the shooting is going smoothly and this drama will be able to finish shooting all the important scenes and not going to cut any scenes with xk.

Where did you get this from, because from my observation from xukai's shooting schedule he's been very busy shooting this drama that he has to drop other activities, and he has so many different outfits make me think the production is putting him at the center of the plot and he will be the main focus of this drama. He also is the first lead of this drama even though this original novel is suppose to be fl centric so i don't think we have to worry about his screentimes being lessen compare to his past dramas that were fl centric.

She was his student so doing those things for her was his duty as her teacher helping her cultivate and gaining power and keeping her from harm so she can develop into a powerful and capable leader. So i agree with the first poster she fell first and he fell harder after seeing how hard she work to overcome her limitation and gaining his attention and admiration along with it.

It's not slow at all, not sure what you're expecting. Their relationship is what made the drama fun to watch since the both of them don't see eye to eye and can't agree on anything but they still love each other ^^

Ml found his match in the fl and just want to live a simple life with the fl by his side. He doesn't have ambition like his foolish brothers who wanted the throne and willing to do anything to get it. Fl and ml at first were on opposite sides but later on will work together to fight against their enemies, they still fight but this time it has to do with her wanting him to be on the throne. The fl has ambition to help the country and want a good ruler to rule however the ml want nothing to do with the throne. This is about a couple who love each other but has very different outlook on life, they do however did end up married and has a marriage life with the best ending ever i might add.
