I only realized yesterday while watching this on Netflix that the subs are horrendous. I don't pay attention to…
Several obvious relationship errors. Introduction to Qiong Nu was subbed as betrothed to uncle, but actually they meant brother (-in law of Fan). Or mistaking Mother-in-law for Grandmother, Elder as 'Old woman' ๐ฌ as if the domestic help would refer to the boss as 'Old woman' ๐.
As an avid WTPR fan I am getting more and more disappointed about the silence from the Korean entertainment. People…
The production team apologised for the finger in ep1 so that people would continue watching. Complaints about ep12 are after the airing period. They've clocked out.
Thanks for the article. I've already seen many of these but the Longest day in Chang An stood out as something to check out. It's not easy giving recommendations, and honestly some readers can be so rude. Hope it doesn't deter you from writing.
I gave a similar rating. Lots of thoughtful conversation and sweet comedy throughout, it was a solid 9 for about 80% until it waned a little towards the end (not enough to drop). The slow mo fight scene and the 12 piece hair set that took forever to remove etc, just made the last couple episodes a bit draggy. If we had just watched 100episode epic of Prince Sui as the protagonist, the throne scene would have had a lot more impact.
Ep 7So li ying does like jin jing. I thought he was just tolerating her because she's his superior's daughter
I feel like he has an inferiority complex that won't allow him to accept her as their power imbalance currently exists. On a human level though (I know, he's barely human) he does seem to bear affection for Ms Jin.
Wow, this was harder than I expected. I excluded medical roles and students in STEM. Ones that I didn't see already in the list were: The love you give me, FL's project is quite important for her, r&d in AI assisted medicine. I'm am not a robot/Robot in the orange orchard, FL is not working in tech but has aspirations to. Start-Up, this might be a bit tenuous as they are working in tech start ups but I feel like the 2 main female characters roles are in management...๐ค
Nearly all of these shows though, the focus is on their love lives ๐
Fair point regarding critique/criticism. The cynicism was from the FL's initial character rather than the drama as a whole.
And that Rio drink looks radioactive ๐คข
What's this? Mini drama? Just a promo?
