Ep 7So li ying does like jin jing. I thought he was just tolerating her because she's his superior's daughter
I feel like he has an inferiority complex that won't allow him to accept her as their power imbalance currently exists. On a human level though (I know, he's barely human) he does seem to bear affection for Ms Jin.
Wow, this was harder than I expected. I excluded medical roles and students in STEM. Ones that I didn't see already in the list were: The love you give me, FL's project is quite important for her, r&d in AI assisted medicine. I'm am not a robot/Robot in the orange orchard, FL is not working in tech but has aspirations to. Start-Up, this might be a bit tenuous as they are working in tech start ups but I feel like the 2 main female characters roles are in management...🤔
Nearly all of these shows though, the focus is on their love lives 😅
All regular new year wishes except Wan wan's, whose is customised to her 😅
**wàn rén mí translates to adored by tens of thousands. It means charming, adorable, popular. Heartthrob is probably a close translation but I don't really hear that used for girls. (Ep 14)
still watching, and again! with the sandwiches. Like if you want to get on the good side of someone, you don't…
I'm watching x2 speed for ML scenes because he's not endearing at all. I'm not moved at all by any of his attempts at redemption so far. Suggesting reference material, any good boss would do. "Saving" her from a creep only to creep on her himself. Not shipping the main CP is making this a drag.
I like to make food analogies and hype is like covering your drama in batter and deep frying it. Most people will enjoy it freshly crisp and hot, it's not as appealing once it's cold and soggy.
Most mediocre foodstuffs might be elevated by a delicious crispy coating but lacks real substance. Some foods are fantastic even without the batter and survive the hype. And some people hate deep fried batter, can't stand it, please serve cold soup.
The only other thing I've seen the leads in was a reality show "Real Actor" and although still plenty of room for improvement, it's good to see their progress in acting.

Mum: 贤良淑德 (Grace, Virtuous)
Wan Wan: 万人迷,不挂科 (Sweetheart**, Don't flunk class)
Ren Chu:招财进宝 (Invite wealth)
