casting of ji hoon and the fl(both of them are one of most popular under 25 actores in korea),,the story is also…
That is not the only reason. The show has ALOT of flaws but they can be looked passed by folks who enjoy the show. I think there was also a timing thing. Apparently there's some sporting event happening which has also affected its ratings since people are tuning into that instead.
I think the dynamic between the eunuch and the young court lady was the most forced thing I've ever seen or at least that I remember. It is so bizarre that *that* is the approach they took to try to elicit an emotional response. Was she even shown before that episode? I'm genuinely asking.
Yeon Wol's former court lady made some sense but wow.
Well, aside from that Ak Hee was the entertaining standout again though I did like Hyun being a firm ruler.
Hyun, Yeon Wol, and Ak Hee could be such a good team if they could all be on the same page.
Am I the only one who feels this drama's romance is progressing too quickly? From episode 7 to this week's episode…
I think the show would've definitely benefitted from developing their relationship and characters more. I think it's understandable why Hyun and Yeon Wol would develop feelings for each other, especially on Hyun's side because she was the first person who could read him like a book and accepted him. This intrigued him and then once he got to know her as well as learned she was the girl he helped, it deepened his feelings. I think it's similar with Yeon Wol. When she was watching him making his clothes, she seemed impressed and charmed with him. Then she learned more about him. They also have wanting to help the country in common.
Anywho, my point is I can see why they developed feelings for each other even though it could've been fleshed out more.
I keep telling myself "the show needs to happen, the show needs to happen" but ugh, it's SOOOOOO frustrating seeing the grand prince and the queen's father plotting, manipulating, and betraying Hyun. WITH NO CONSEQUENCES Same with the ministers.
A big part of me just wants Hyun to get rid of them all but then who would even replace them?
When oh when will the grand prince be dealt with? He tried to Hyun 3 times. Tried to kill Yeon Wol 3 or 4 times. He killed the king and threw his mother under the bus.
I wonder what's gonna be the final straw for something to be done about him.
"Plus he would possibly leave things up to her since he isn't interested in ruling/political affairs."He would…
I don't refer to the webtoon and I don't agree; he just did everything out of his feelings for Yeon Wol not because of his caring nature. His feelings for her didn't just change because he realized she wasn't into him.
I used to like the shaman but now the constant back & forth between forms is getting to be too much to me. Especially when it's not adding anything except weirdness. The lady form is just love crazed and the guy form isn't to be fully trusted.
I think the queen would be team Ak Hee because he actually has engaged with her and touched her. Plus he would possibly leave things up to her since he isn't interested in ruling/political affairs.
I wonder if the queen would team up with Ak Hee to try to keep Hyun locked away/at bay.
Meanwhile, I'm liking Yeon Wol and Hyun more. It's just never enough time and development for them.
I don't want to say they "love" each other but they are developing feelings and I think it's nice. Especially the fact they started to like each other AFTER getting to know each other.
I wonder if Weak Hero Class 2 is gonna start with a continuation of the final scene of Weak Hero Class 1. I swear everytime I watch it, I can just hear the pained screaming that's about to happen
Like has been said by others, everyone has to start somewhere.

Same with the ministers.

I'm liking Hyun more when he shows more of himself such as being self conscious or jealous or firm when he called out the ministers.
I wonder what's gonna be the final straw for something to be done about him.
I think it's a pitfall of Ak Hee being so expressive and endearing vs Hyun who was more stoic and reserved. Sigh, I wonder what's in store for them.
Why would you say his conscious wouldn't allow him? What has happened to lead you to that conclusion?
I wonder if the queen would team up with Ak Hee to try to keep Hyun locked away/at bay.
