I don't know how to feel about a ghost saving her or the soldier who got left behind. I don't know how to feel about weapons constantly be lost due to circumstances (though that's probably realistic)
I don't know how to feel about him being swarmed yet he was unharmed.
This is how the final episode left me feeling: just wondering how and what to feel
I felt kinda blah about the way things ended. It was kinda anticlimatic for me in part because I never particularly cared about the main couple. I also forgot it repeatedly; I forgot to watch it, I forgot when it aired, I forgot how it ended.
When I saw the rating this got, I thought it was fitting.
broooo I hope it's not like study group. I want serious and emotional af. Don't want this to be cringey 😫
I didn't mean Study Group is cringey; it just feels kinda anticlimatic (to me). I don't think they had enough time to develop things to feel really satisfying. I think this show was based on like 50 chapters? I could be wrong but it's still alot to cover in 10 episodes.
Study Group was meant to be more comedic and argubly wholesome/inspiring not serious & emotional.
As I've been saying about Weak Hero Class 2, it's alot of characters and a little bit of time (assuming it's 8 episodes) to cover any particular arc. I know it's altered somehow cause there's no way it's not. I just hope however it's done is satisfying
I don't know when the 2nd quater is but I guess that gives folks time to watch Study Group and My Dearest Nemeisis (or whatever that show with Choi Hyun Wook is called) and by the time those are done, it will be time for this.
I think it was necessary to change a lot in s1, because in webtoon there's a few story on it. Like it didn't have…
In the webtoon, Bryce (Bumseok) had an inferiorty complex, jealousy, resentment, envy, and just a hateful personality. Fairly certain all of that was said and shown in the webtoon.
He hated Stephen (Suho) for being everything he wasn't (tall, good looking, charming, confident, personable, etc)
God, the drama was so good because it was able to capture and expand and adapt it for the different medium.
Y'all are really bored, aren't you? If you're taken to trolling and passing off fake information just to be able to talk about the show.
The comment section is already 2500+ for a show that HASN'T EVEN COME OUT YET and y'all feel the need to add repetitive comments, questions, and speculation on an airdate to make it even longer.
People complain about lack of promotion but I'm fairly certain we'll be able to find out once it starts airing the same way people have found out about other less hyped Netflix shows (the only show coming to mind is Mr Plankton haha)
Any infos if season 1 will ever be on netflix? I wonder how they will promote a sequel without the first season…
Arthdal Chronicles S1 was on Netflix while S2 was on Disney+/Hulu Neither platform had both seasons (in the US)
I don't know many shows that have second or multiple seasons in the first place but this particular instances isn't the first of its kind.
Sometimes, a second season can stand on its whole that you don't NEED to watch the first. For example: Taxi Driver 2. The gist is the same = vigilantes who go undercover to avenge people. Yeah, for character development purposes, it helps to have seen the 1st season but it's not absolutely necessary to follow S2.
Weak Hero Class 2 will probably give some establishing context and then move on since it's an entirely different area anyway and the only returning character is Sieun (with maybe an appearance from his parents). There could also possibly be an appearance from Suho's actor since he's a fan favorite
Cha Woo Min (he played the aspiring UFC fighter or whatever that was paid to beat up/fight Suho and Sieun)
And is what serious or comedic? People say Study Group is supposedly comedic especially compared to Weak Hero.
As someone who's read the webtoon, I don't know if you would call it comedic. In the webtoon, the main guy JUST wants to be able to get into college and be a good student but he is just *NOT* good at academics and to others it might be funny how bad he is (like deadpan, sarcastic, disbelief reactions). From what I remember; it's been a while since I read it.
With news of Study Group coming out, it's making me wanna watch Weak Hero again but I don't wannaaaaa! Hahah I don't want to fall down the rabbit hole again and it will just make me think about S2 again.
I wonder how many people who watch Study Group will inadvertedly compare it to Weak Hero Class 1 even if the tones are different. Just the fact they both feature students fighting and an actor has appeared in both could draw comparisons.
I don't think I've ever anticipated a show as much as I have with this show. I'm not expecting it to be what the first season was but I just want it to be able to deliver a good story like the first season. I want it to make me think "wow, these are some talented actors".
I think the thing I'm most nervous about is the character count and being able to develop the relationships. Our good guy squad is at least 5 people I think and our bad guys are 3 or 4? As I write that, it seems similar to S1 so it seems managable but grr, it's different! Haha
I feel like it has to deviate from the source material. How can they build up to a giant territory battle between schools in 8 episodes?
In the webtoon, I think Wolf was like the 3rd antagonist introduced and Donald was THE big bad who was kinda the other side of the coin to Gray. Please let that dynamic be good in the drama🙏. I can just see the staredowns in my mind haha
I have been looking forward to this so much and the first word was Suho😭 and then we get the music.
I don't want to watch the trailer when it comes out cause I don't wanna spoil myself but just based on the teaser, I'm seeing some of the webtoon.

I just want a good drama🙏
Also I might have to wait to binge it so the wait is even longer for me haha

By not releasing it, it's just giving people more reason to have animosity and to cast stones at Yoo Ah In and he doesn't need that.
