Next day, after a few more episodes, yeah, this is a no for me. Usually if a series is highly rated, I like it too, but this one is not even watchable to me. Everything feels so wooden and boring. So, to those who didn't like it, you are not alone in your opinion.
I'm trying to understand how this has 8.7. stars. I'm on episode 3, and I'm so bored. There's barely a plot and the acting isn't that good. This is nearly as torturous to watch as something like Ai Long Nhai. Does it really get that much better from episode 3 on?
Full of sexual abuse and violence. The male lead is a sexual abuser and generally violent toward the female lead. While he keeps saving her from other people's abuse, he doesn't protect her from his own abuse. That's not what a good man does. This reads like a fantasy written by misogynist, woman hating red pillers, neckbeards and self proclaimed "nice guys". This is what problematic men think masculinity is.
The male lead is handsome, no doubt, but WTF is this showcase of an abusive relationship.
He ain't the only gay in the village anymore. He (unlike someone else we know) boarded the train to the city and embraced the chance of becoming a Go Go dancer, he has the physique for it after all. He may even soon feel a prick, he did meet a hot guy with sharp teeth and ... other stuff. ๐
I liked the original Taiwanese version. The one thing I was kinda sad about was that the arranged marriage would have been a great BL premise. The mains being friends sent another message though, and that was good too. Are they really just doing the same plot in this adaption? I'll watch it for sure, but doing the exact same thing is a bit meh. Somebody make a BL with similar premise please ๐ญ.
Joss is an amazing actor. Watched him in 3 Will Be Free and he is phenomenal in that series despite being a total…
Jordan Peterson and Joe Rogan advocate judging and controlling people from their religious and right wing perspective. Jordan Peterson ridiculously even chastised women for reading books that have any sort of romance and sexual content. If you are a person that finds the ideas of these men interesting, if you are like them, you are a questionable person.
Abuse -The victim of abuse and harassment Teerak asks the abuser Oh to forgive him for not liking Oh, and it's presented as a good, a positive change in their relationship. This is sick sh*t. Do better writers and producers! No means no, abusive harassers like Oh need to leave people alone, it's not the victims responsibility to manage the feelings of entitled ass hats.
Does Korea use a different version of sign language?https://www.british-sign.co.uk/british-sign-language/how-to-sign/mountain/
Lets be honest, you deserve a bit of mocking for not even thinking to look things up yourself or understanding unceremoniously holding a door open for other people is basic humaning/adulting.
That would be because the romantic tension in this drama is between Ga On and Yo Han. Take your blinders off and…
So, like I said, you obsessively express uncritical zeal when faced with information contrary to your predjudice. Anyway, no point in me arguing endlessly with a zealot, bye.

Great! Semantic Error is the only one that's also about university students. If you can handle a little bit of angst ยดI Told Sunset About Youยด is a lovely story with really nice writing and production. The way they show the emotional connection is so good. There's a second season, in a slightly different style, about what happens in College, but it's not even necessary to watch that to enjoy the awesome first season, which is a complete story on it's own.
Can anyone rec me more like this?? Light/fluffy/sweet/natural, no toxicity/hate/phobia/disapproval (esp from parents-unless…

When she stole that uterus...I lost it. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Me too. It was hilarious the judgemental male doctor was screaming that a woman stole HIS uterus. The insinuation that society claims ownership of women's bodies and reproductive organs was infuriating, but you had to laugh.

There's many many Kdramas that are BLs, the most famous are probably Love in the Big City and Semantic Error. There has to be around 100 KBLs by now, most don't have a massive budgets. Bromance is the kind of show that doesn't go all the way to BL but plays with gay relationship dynamics, without outright stating it. Chinese censorship has forced recent adaptations of stories to be made into Bromances in China, but there's no censorship in Taiwan. Japan and Thailand also make plenty of BLs. There's no need for BL watchers to be fanatical over lack of BLs.

No, the showmakers themselves said the character of Ga On is traditionally written for a woman. That is why the romantic dynamics are off kilter. It's a dystopian story, so the off kilter straight bending dynamics add to the atmosphere.
This show is an obvious variation of the classic Gothic story, where an innocent woman (Ga On) ends up in a gloomy castle or manor house, living with or married to a monstrous man (Yo Han). In the fairytale department an example of this is The Beauty and the Beast. The Gothic genre is characterized by mystery, horror, and gloom, and combines the genres of romance and horror. A part of making the Devil Judge's world unsettling is the gay undertones, because for Korean society that is still an uncomfortable subject, and many still think gayness is society destroying i.e. dystopian.
I like this drama, but Su Hyeon and Ga On just didnโt have that spark. They tried, but the romance feels dry.…
That would be because the romantic tension in this drama is between Ga On and Yo Han. Take your blinders off and look again, the creators of the show did this on purpose, this is general knowledge.

I Told Sunset About You is a another BL loved by the community. It's quality stuff and lots of people seem to really relate to the coming of age story.
