Is this one of those rom coms which normalises tolerating abusive behaviours because "love" or does the ML change…
ep 4 - they deserve each other. she's gone from delulu to psycho stalker intermediate episodes doing some interesting things with power and gender inversion. some of it is sending up rom com stereotypes, is it doing more than just playing with them? ep 10 - if a man treats you like that, get the eff out, he's not going to change. they had to know what they were doing, cramming so many abuser red flags in there so quickly. HEA at this point would be Moei escaping and eventually ending up with Kob who treats her well.
Is this one of those rom coms which normalises tolerating abusive behaviours because "love" or does the ML change soon? There was a point in ep 3 where it looked like he would, but then he doubled down on it all.
trailer is Eng-subbed, GMMTV is subbing all their series, or close to, these days and they've cast actors popular with international fans too, so i think it's safe to say yes
Did you mean for this to go in Reviews? At the very least it should be hidden with a spoiler. you can use Edit…
No spoilers? Look at everything you revealed about the late trajectory and end: "Little character development for her", "Both... were so broken and tired by the end", "it didn't show me how they would overcome all the hurt and agony they went through", "their love seemed to drag them down each time", "That happy ending, thus, seemed like a little fairytale that was too good to be true, before reality would kick in and they would hurt each other again." If you feel you must, you can always put that creepy bit in an unhidden reply. All in all, you wrote a review - and probably a valid one - but this shouldn't be open in Comments, not with so much about the end.
Episode 9 and it's gotten so bad i can't see how they claw this back to a relationship which isn't abusive. It's also boring and really dragging. Wish it were a series so I could just put in three more hours and be done. LOVED the couple in the first 5 episodes and the transition episode was really well done. Mario playing dark was interesting for I don't know 20 minutes. But the rest....
The direct link seems to have disappeared from the Comments and the site is using a pop-up window rather than a series page now. No link to that to copy :( ...
Can someone please revive this drama because i watch it everywhere and the quality of the video is so bad.
Ch3's on demand is US$3.00 for a month or US$28.99 for a year. This and several more are available with English subs, website is easy to use. It's been worth it for me. https://ch3plus.com/packages
Two clear veins of story in five I've seen so far. I strongly recommend watching the earliest ones first for each vein as you'll get more from the later. 1) Nang Nak (1999), Pee Mak (2013), Ghost Wife (2018) 2) Mae Nak Phra Khanong (1959), Mae Nak 3D (2012)
Daeng Phra Khanong is its own thing, being about the kid, but is in the Nang Nak-Pee Mak lineage and you really do want to know Nang Nak going in.
Ghost Wife (2018) transposes Nang Nak to the modern age, interspersing low budget horror with a lovely coming of age. Nak is renamed to Nard, with her full name a nod to Nang Nak actress Sine Inthira.
Thai casting can sometimes be a bit What is age anyway? Many lakorns and series will have a flashback for the main character(s) and use hair and clothing cues to signal age. Watch enough and you learn how to pick up on the cues and just go with it. Jim is between 36 and 40. He says nearly 40 but there may be some exaggeration as he's feeling so beleagured. Wen is nearly 30. Leng and Gaipa talk about the years they were born (Thai zodiac). I don't remember exactly but I worked it out that they were something like 32 and 30 respectively. Earth has the biggest jump in age though.

Watch Shutter before this if you haven't. Third story gives away the ending. And if you're interested in Thai horror, Shutter is a must anyway.
