I'm seeing a lot of comments on Jade's autism, and I honestly agree because he reminds me of my little brother who acts VERY similar to him. Yes but You are my Desire did have an extra ep of giving a nice clean finish so i was okay with it. I watch dramas like these in parallel to work so if the story is good, its enough for me.
I think this drama is good, but so far only the FL has shown a wide range in her acting. Honestly for someone who is a successor I'd expected her to be....cold? Idk usually male leads that are in similar positions, have this aura that this drama in not encapsulating for the fl.
I find her "shy" scenes very cute and some of her "badass" moments are satistfying but i still feel like it doesnt have the rich woman spunk that dramas like CLOY excel in.
Honestly feel like the drama is hyped more for the visuals, than the story-acting-setting itself. It is an average story and i feel like a more complex story couldve tapped into the acting of the leads.
Edit: none of this is stopping me from watching, because it has its charm.

I disagree, you clearly haven't understood the drama. Essentially, both of them are in hell. They're wounded, but LDH has a support system: his mother. But for SHK, there is no one. And their romance is simply perfect--LDH is SHK's helping hand and SHK is LDH's executioner. He tends her wounds, she strikes wounds on those who hurt him. Any more romance, the drama would've felt unrealistic.

I honestly loved You Are Desire. I watched the fl's next drama with Jun from seventeen and honestly it tired me. You Are Desire was far more engaging and honestly, nice.
She still doesn't seem like a good fit to the webtoon fl, its not about the weight. The overall vibe of the fl is different, i hope the directors focus on emotion than looks.
