Nah cuz this show would've had some emotional depth if they would've not hyperrfocused on the fan service and female gaze literally what is up with the first three eps lol that was crazy.
Also 'wifey' trope PLEASE LETS BE DONE WITH IT-- the actors did well but the characters itself made me uncomfy at times. Sure, they're hot, but that does not make me forget the fact that first Payu treats rain like a child and rain....acts like one? It would've been nice if we actually had an enemies to lovers and not just 'Rain being horny but still hating Payu' arc.
I havent finished the drama but im still bothered about how they paced the story of him falling for NHS. It wouldve been nice if he got to know that she was the daughter of restraunt owner he was indebted to, then proceeded to vent to the therapist and act confused about his feelings on whether it was just gratefullness or love, and then bring out the family bonding scene.
It baffles me that out of the blue he found her attractive? Idk it seemed so out of place. Also are korean people this dumb? Like ml is not the reason why the girl he tutored q0 years ago died, so why is everyone around him acting like he pressured or he did her wrong? It made NO SENSE.
This drama is still good, but these two are the only big flaws i found to be.
Song Ha yoon seems to be a better match as the FL. As a big fan of the webtoon, Kang Jiwon seems naive but is very smart. Na in woo is more of a puppy kinda guy but i think he can pull YJH well. It would be fun to see PMY play an antagonistic role rather than the same female lead trope
I'm re watching this, and really wondering- is the korean society that narrow minded? the reasons for divorce can be anything, why act like its a stain?
Remember, you're the one who's calling her below average. I think the reason why everyone liked that couple was…
again, you missed the point lmao. You thinking Jiwan is below average is what is wrong with you. The unrealistic kdrama standards make even normal people look ugly. The arc was much preferred is because it was much more realistic. A shallow guy who thinks a pretty woman would make his life better, meets a naive but hardworking woman, and changes his shallow views. There was enough screentime for viewers to understand their dynamic.
It's actually pretty good despite the negative comments. I see most people preferred the second couple John and…
Remember, you're the one who's calling her below average. I think the reason why everyone liked that couple was because Jiwan wasn't an unrealistic standrard of a woman kdramas hold up women to be, and also the fact that their arc was much more interesting as we see how the guy changes his perspective and appreciates his partner. Much like how we have to do in real life relationships. We often forget to give our attention to people who care, and end up running towards...materialistic things.
You know its the 21st century and the writer is giving so much importance to love triangles rather than writing an inspiring story about the female lead. Smh im so tired. Its always the female centric rom coms that are written like shit-

And you clearly dont know about the real world and how love, attraction and real people in love act like.
