it is realy sad, that with ongoing chinese series noone (ok most do but i want to emphazise the gravity) noone…
I hear what you are saying about spoilers. Even users whom I have seen previously using spoiler tag sensibly, are choosing not to do so in the main feed. Let's not even talk about the drama comment section. I only come here after I have watched the episode. I avoid all SM when I donβt want to be spoiled of the ending.
Poor Jared, he still has feelings for Uno!! As you said before, he will go through this and grow .
The way Uno vehemently denies that he is Gay, it does indicate there could be something latent there π€π. Me neither, it is Uno-Farrah and I am happy about that. I really feel Jared should start fresh and as I have been saying for some time now, find his love when he goes to University on a Volleyball scholarship π.
About the conversation that Uno had with Jared on the balcony, where Uno said he was scared people might think he is gay because Jared was his best friend. Even though they were kids and even though people can be scared, I don't understand this. If my best friend would have done this to me and later came back with this excuse, I wouldn't have been able to give them a chance like Jared did. Sorry!
I think the show wasn't at all convincing about Uno's change. That's a fact. But I really liked his lines, about…
Well said. Uno's redemption (if we can call it that) was abrupt and not convincing. His lines and he owning up to his bullying actions were good. However I don't know why Jared agreed to the 'deal'. It appeared before that Jared really didn't want to associate with Uno. I understood that he still has feelings for him, but still Jared agreeing to give Uno a chance to be his friend seemed unconvincing to me. Or, I can blame it all on teenage hormones and blurred decision making π.
Our boy Jared still has feelings for Uno. He will get burnt, but it will be OK Jared. You will find someone who respects and loves you unconditionally. Uno's redemption, if we can call it that was too fast and abrupt. Redemption arcs are difficult to execute specially in a short series so I was not surprised. But it does take away from the viewing experience. In terms of acting, the part I liked the most in episode 5 was at the beginning when Jared and Uno were talking. Uno was doing the talking mostly but Jared in his drunk haze was almost about to confess or do something he would regret later. In that scene, there were confusion, want, hurt a lot of emotions. That moment was well expressed by Sean. I enjoyed the game part also. All in all, this series is going in a predictable direction but a solid watch none the less.
These two are hitting it out of the park with acting and chemistry. Their scenes, no matter how simple, are tender and real. Reset I will remember for them.
I didn't enjoy this one. The entire plot was too unbelievable and it was not a fantasy. I felt zero empathy/sympathy for the leads. I couldn't care less if there were together at the end. I am just happy that there were no more deaths at the end.
I'm kind of assuming, based on nothing but the summary, that this might have similar vibes to Your Name Engraved…
As much as I like Your Name Engraved Herein (one of my all time favorites), I want Soul Mate to end on a more positive note (my selfish want π€). Sweet not bittersweet π.
hit bl come soon please , also Iβm afraid if it doesnβt become popular like how we all expected love in the…
Imo Love in the big city blew up in its popularity. It had massive local media coverage and discussions (positives, negatives). Both the film and drama leads ended up together on Arena korea. The movie got more clout than the series though and got 2 Baeksang nominations. So the franchise Love in the Big City did well. This is my understanding and I can be wrong, so please take this with a grain of saltπ. I enjoyed both immensely. The series more than the film. This led me to read the original novel. I still preferred the series of the 3. I hope Soul Mate does well too.
Netflix tags this drama as, "understated, bittersweet, intimate". No no no, I want sweet. No bittersweet please. Looking forward to the force it will be.
