🍉: the current general arrangement TV stations: a new round of tribute dramas will be broadcast from late September to mid-October free schedules from late October to December. 2022 will start the Winter Olympics, and the Winter Olympics tribute dramas are ready to be broadcast. https://twitter.com/cwhisper3/status/1434536804057710592?s=19
This seems to be the possible specific reason for OOL postponement. Also the drama that is coming in its slot seems to be a republican drama. And although, OP is saying OOL can be expected in October, I'll rather place my bets on November and after. Don't fret too much, it's normal operation. OOL would have been free long ago if it was webcast!
I read the reviews and first-day repos of his play A Dream like a Dream. This play has been in theatres since 21 years and goes on for a tasking 8 hours (insane!) and is considered a masterpiece so I can understand the pressure of expectations that must've been on him. Despite everything he has done an amazing job.
I found the reviews all very unanimous in nature - they're mostly saying the same thing: the change that comes in him when the strange disease hits him, his comedic timing and little touches of personality that he added that made the script shine. I'm glad that he's finally getting the recognition he deserves . Not saying that he doesn't have popularity which he does, but he also has a very unfair hypocritical bias against him for not coming out of a film school. I never knew the bias existed because having watched a few c-dramas he's the only c-actor that has captured my attention and I'm really fond of his micro-expressions and comedic timing (not appreciated enough!). I'm so happy he did this play though. Some tears were shed when I watched the curtain call ?
I'm surprised that many people are not liking this drama. It's probably because I have zero background about it,…
I like it too. A story should be capable of standing on its own. Definitely one of the better dramas I watched although I understand the og fans' frustrations.
If you compare in to fei I already see what person you are and where all this hate come from. We all know.
I personally thought the acting in Legend of Fei was horrible, the sets looked fake, and the clothes looked boring/lacked imagination. Honestly I still wonder where the production money went.
same bruh thats what i loved about tang san he was smart and calm and composing he was a lil weak but still strong..…
I'm liking this drama because it's fast paced and tight but I agree that screaming scene was so unnecessary and uncharacteristic for Tang San. My main pet peeve currently is that the director is using Tang San for exposition and making him ask hundreds of questions to explain it to the audience but.. uh. Also that they had to remove reincarnation plot. I hope they move on with this schtick soon and we get to see smart tactician Tang San soon.
