Thanks!! I should probably try to write a coherent complete review some day, but I'm still afraid I will not do it justice!! Nothing will do it justice, anything regarding this story is still raw emotions in my head ("After all this months? Always!" :P ), I think all I can do (for now) is rewatching it/rereading it/read/view things about it/inspired by it and trying to convince people to watch it!! :D

This is probably one the best articles I've read about The Untamed, and if this one doesn't convince people to watch it, nothing will! I agree wholeheartedly with almost all of your points, The Untamed is about love in all its forms!! If there is one thing I could add, I would say it's also about redemption -- but that theme is explored more masterfully in the novel. By the way, I also suggest you read the novel, I believe you won't regret it!!!

In my opinion you should probably remove them per your original intent, that way your list would be more interesting/useful to find some hidden gems!!
(I mean e.g. I love the Untamed as long as many others, but the rating is already 9.4 what more do we need? :D Everyone already knows about it, let's use lists like that to find some interesting dramas that aren't that high-rated!)

Guys & gals, can we just focus on the fact that this is the only historical Korean drama in a long while, and it doesn't even look that much special? I need another Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People, or Six Flying Dragons in my life!!

As @randomisawsome said, the only difference is the subtitles.
Viki's are more specific/descriptive while Netflix's tend to be more generic.
Ah also Viki translates the songs' lyrics (which is personally one my favourite things about it).

Wow, thanks for these!! I sure added a lot to my plan to watch lists (and my no subs anywhere list lol). Some of these actors I'd never heard of, some others I knew from minor roles (since I started watching Chinese dramas only recently), but I really do agree with you about the male actors in the past, or recent past, that they have this rougher, manlier, handsome quality that many today's actors are lacking -- though it all goes down to personal taste after all!

I personally don't have any problem with her acting in general, she's not perfect, but nothing deserving so much hate!!
But I really don't like her resting b!tch face, I don't know if this is her character/a directional choice, or she's just one of those unlucky people... But I can get past this.

But anyway, I feel almost anyone casted opposite Arthur Chen would be nitpicked at this point -- I mean the guy is so charismatic, so expressive, so charming & talented, that any love interest of his character would be deemed lacking..
