Wow, you're family sounds great already if they're willing to watch it
Not that willing, I practically forced them lol! My father was the first to pick it up though, and whining about the lack of Greek subs (he barely understands any English)!! We're still in the first episodes, I'll maybe update in a few days about how they like it (or not), and tips.
I'm rewatching this drama with my family watching for the first time, and I just feel so anxious, sort of like introducing my boyfriend to them lol, but worst, I SO want them to like it!!!
Does anyone know when this drama will be air in Japan?
It started airing on 19th of March, don't know what channel and/or online site. I think they'll sub it, but I'm not sure. At least they didn't change the main characters' names in the trailer... https://youtu.be/US10DTquaf4
The couple have a lot of cute scenes together (not skinship though), but if you're only gonna watch this for the bl, without even remotely being in the mood for fantasy or adventure or mystery kind of stories, you may not find it to your liking. Though it's very rare for people not liking this wonderful story with its even more wonderful characters (statistically speaking), so I'd say just go for it!! :)))
The Rise of Phoenixes! Horribly sad but also amazing. I definitely recommend it.
Personally, I found that ending nonsensical and ridiculously over-dramatic and out of character, not tragically beautiful. Too bad, because the drama, until that last episode, was a 10/10 for me!!! :/
Viki added a channel and is seeking licensing.https://www.viki.com/tv/37034c-amensalismTitle Request Form:https://support.viki.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034633713-Request-a-TV-Show-or-Movie
Six Flying Dragons - - Although the ending was inevitable (it IS history after all), watching them killing each other was so heartbreaking!
Nirvana In Fire - - I hate terminal illnesses (although it was a poison, but the result is the same). They didn't even show his ending, and tbh at least he dried gloriously after all, but it was still heartbreaking as h*ll!!
Viki > WeTV/YouTube(I think they use the same subs) > Netflix
