Yes 90% of romantic Chinese dramas have one it's their thing/trope like flyingI just roll with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Agg I just hoped it didn't for a change!
The worst kind is when a 2nd female lead (or 2nd male lead) is just obsessed, when there's obviously no attraction to her (or him). The good kind is the one like "The King Loves" for example, where they're all friends, and the lead seems to have feelings for both - and they both equally deserve her.
I'm still going to watch Dr. Cutie though, I can't help it cause I love gender bender!! :D
To be honest, I'm scared the hell of the 2nd season, I REALLY hope they won't change the support actors, because really, this drama wouldn't be half as great as it is without them!!! (So far, only Zhang Ruo Yun as Fan Xian has been confirmed I think..)
It's okay, they should rest for a bit!! :) .....(Not a chance anyone will come to my country anyway XD )
You mean apart from the fact that nobody will know them here? . . . Though I have this little fantasy scene in my mind, that Xiao Zhan comes to Greece for a vacation, to relax in a place where he can be himself where nobody knows about him, and then I accidentally stumble upon him on the street & I recognize him!
I call shyly "Mr Xiao Zhan", and keeping my distance, I ask if I could maybe get an autograph. He agrees, I tell him how much I liked his performance as Wei Ying, and he smiles at me, wondering how come there are people in this far away country (far away from his own) that watch Chinese dramas! I stand awkwardly, staring at his real, live smile that takes my breath away, until he gives me the autograph at last and, sadly, continues on his way.
I know, I know, my imagination is too vivid & wild, lmao!! :D
You can also use an android emulator, like Bluestacks
I know what you mean. I've watched a few shows on iQiYi using the emulator, cause that was the only option for me, and it does eat up the ram. Anyway, I really can't understand why they don't make a web version of it, like WeTV did, I mean, who's ever watching series/movies on their phone/tablet anyway, when having the option to watch it on a bigger screen??? :/
He only played a guest/support character for a few episodes in Fairyland Lovers (as the chef), but he was unforgettable! I'm still emotional over his story there, his was the best one of the side stories so far, and he must be *extremely* talented to make such a life of such a short appearance - such a scene stealer charisma!!
