Please correct me if I am wrong. But for the names part, especially in historical/wuxia/xianxia dramas, characters…

This thing is marvellous. I have only one complaint: this horrible servant guy was never called out for what he…

I've always assumed that coughing up blood is so common because it's a 'clean' (perhaps a little romantic, too?…
Not only a cultural thing, in Europe in Medieval and later years, it was a common practice to "bleed" the patient to cure all diseases (cut with a knife and let the "bad blood" fall).. And though it WAS useful in some cases (think of all these kings and royals that just seat all day & eat extremely rich foods, they could use the lower blood pressure etc.), most of the time it was a bogus or scam practice of doctors that didn't know anything else to do, and using herbs in Christian -especially Catholic- Europe was considered heresy or obsolete practice...

Keep in mind that not all shows are available on all regions, though. Fyi, I've created a list of Asian Dramas on Netflix (in my region), https://kisskh.at/list/l4jMoPR3
not 100% complete but you may find it interesting!

Netflix is the TV version. Viki has better translations but the TV version is cut better. I've watched both and…
I think I'll go with the Viki version if for no other reason because they translate the songs!!

I want to begin this drama, but I need some urgent advice!!
Which version is the best one to watch, the 63-episode version (stated as the TV-version/cut) or the 60-episode version (the one that's on Viki)??
Please help, which one has less cut scenes? Usually Viki has the director's cut of the dramas, so they should be more complete and have less banned scenes, but I'm not sure if this is true in this case... There's also the Netflix version, that also has 63 episodes, but I'm not sure if it's the same as the TV version...

You should mention the top 2 or top 3, only mentioning the 1st doesn't help since the AoL fans went berserk & voted it in Every F@ing Category!!! :D (No offence meant to the fans, I'm sure it's a great drama, I just don't think it should be in every category, cause this makes the poll meaningless & totally useless...)

Since you like Chinese historical dramas, you should start with some of the classic sageuks like Jumong, Queen…
Lol these are all excellent dramas, that just happen to have hot male leads. I would appreciate them the shame without them, but the eye candy was like the cherry on top!!
