This show is actually not half bad for a mini-drama and I like the supernatural/ghost angle. The three leads act well and their friendship is cute (especially between the two male leads π₯Ή). Only half way through, but it's keeping me entertained βΊοΈ
Well, even though the episodes should be longer, at least the bromance is delivering βΊοΈ And scenes aren't…
I totally get that, then Archives may not be the drama for you then.
Haha, yeah, at the end of episode 3, I was grinning from ear to ear π They have great chemistry (and it only gets better as the story progresses βΊοΈ) and Kiddo Ma does look quite fine, especially in that scene you're taking about.
I love this drama. Had me hooked all the way through. If anything the pacing/editing of the 2nd half was a bit…
Yes, things did feel choppier in the second half π And they did cut scenes out. Probably a lot of those scenes were because of censorship, because quite a few of the cut scenes of Hailou and Haixia together πno reason to cut them out, except China is probably paranoid about people interpreting those scenes as "gay" (even though the two MLs are like brothers) π€¦πΌββοΈ There's a lot of BTS footage floating around of those scenes.
Well, even though the episodes should be longer, at least the bromance is delivering βΊοΈ And scenes aren't…
Haha, I had many... feelings while watching Archives and still do apparently π . Overall, I thought it was very good and Ding Yunxi and Zhang Xincheng did an amazing job. There were a few times where it was pretty apparent where scenes were cut, but anyway π€·πΌββοΈ Just be prepared for an emotional ride and enjoy βΊοΈ
I've seen some comments talking about Tee's acting and that he doesn't look a main lead guys are you serious???…
Yeah, I thought he was doing just fine! And really, it's too early for people to judge just with the first episode anyway IMO π€·πΌββοΈ I'm really excited to see where the plot takes these two as well, because I'm fully invested! βΊοΈ
Because why not π? No one's forcing you to watch it, if bromance isn't your thing. With the case if Mr. Kill,…
Dear, why come to this page and complain about a show you aren't even going to watch? (You're missing out though, because the first episode was really good!) Go comment on pages of shows you're actually interested in instead π And you don't have to get bromance. I do see where you're coming from, in a way. After High School Frenemy became an unexpected hit GMMTV saw they could make money with SkyNani. SkyNani was basically a "bromance" expirement, and it's worked for them so far, so they're trying it with DewTee π€·πΌββοΈ Part of the so-called "fake" BLs is money I'm sure. But I for one am a big fan of their bromances and I hope they don't stop making them. I loved Hightschool Frenemy and Wu. Both were well made, well acted and had good plot lines.
After watching 6 episodes in one sitting, I like the dynamic between the two. Republican era is a plus ( just…
Well, even though the episodes should be longer, at least the bromance is delivering βΊοΈ And scenes aren't cut because of censorship, unlike a certain popular drama (Archives: The Nanyang Mystery) that just finished airing. And in that show, the two MLs were adopted brothers, and it was super unnecessary to cut the scenes they did. Apparently they thought two dudes (who were raised like brothers, mind you) hugging, after one thought the other was dead was too "gay" ππ€¦πΌββοΈ Anyway, rant over π
Why do they make bromance series? I understood why China made them. No idea why Thailand has a need for them.
Because why not π? No one's forcing you to watch it, if bromance isn't your thing. With the case if Mr. Kill, if I'm not mistaken, one of them (I think Tee) wasn't comfortable doing BL? But not every show has to have NC or kissing scenes to portray close bonds anyway; that's what I personally love about bromance. But I prefer shows that aren't romance focused anyway, so that's a big part of the reason for me. And deep, platonic friendships do exist. At any rate, GMMTV only came out with two bromance shows this year: Wu and now Mr. Kill...out of their GLs many and BLs, so it's not like bromance is taking over any time soon π€·πΌββοΈ
A really good start to the series! I loved the first episode and my expectations were pretty high. Dew and Tee are doing great in their roles. Everyone in else the cast is too. And Dew and Tee's chemistry is gold, as expected π My goodness, I got butterflies while watching them interact together π₯Ί And bromance? Sure...with Phat basically flirting with Kaye at the end of the episode, I see where you're going, GMMTV π Gonna try to pull off another SkyNani with this, eh? Bring it ON! ππ
I'm 100% sure Kay ain't the killer. But he does Know something. People don't usually get panic attack without…
I agree with you. I don't think he is eitherππΌ But just so you know and won't be disappointed, the drama isn't BL (unless they made some super last minute changes). It's mystery/thriller and bromance βΊοΈ
i hate sad ending,,, this make my heart break, i love to watch ding xuxi, but i canttttt watch this at all
Yeah...Ding Yunxi's character never really gets a break in this drama π He suffers so much. It was hard to watch. The ending does heavily hint that he didn't actually die though and he may come back in the future so π€·πΌββοΈ

Oh, perhaps you're right. I just edited my post to omit that ππΌ It's just often they will have a wrap up special right after the drama is done filming, but I guess the wrap up special came out later for this one π€·πΌββοΈ
