I wouldnโt be surprised if Hai Xia dies by the end of the story, but it would be devastating if it actually…
Yeah, I wouldn't either ๐ญ And it would be devastating. But if he does die, let him die in his brother's arms with his mind in tact; no dying off screen or in some place alone.
this is so funny to me because if they were really brothers, the show wouldnโt have been forced by censorship…
Oh, I totally agree with you. It's definitely excessive ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ It was totally obvious with how much was cut out in episode 16 especially.
They are not blood-related tho. They were both taken/adopted into the Zhang family and not originally a Zhang…
... that's right. And I loved Devil Judge and was guilty of kind of shipping them... But the fact the the main lead looked almost exactly like the other ML's half brother definitely rubbed me the wrong way...
this is so funny to me because if they were really brothers, the show wouldnโt have been forced by censorship…
You're probably right ๐ Well, and it's a big IP with big names starring in it, and one had been in a censored BL a few years back, so that probably made the censorship board extra paranoid ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
Awe, episode 16 made my cry ๐ญ๐ฅน It was so good! The only issue I had with it is you could really tell in this one that they cut scenes out because of censorship ๐ Dumb...anyway yeah, still good and still brought tears to my eyes. The bond between these two brothers is so sweet ๐ฅน
It's so frustrating ๐ญ They've cut so many scenes with the brothers ๐ญ Stupid censorship. They were supposed…
Yeah, that's probably a big part of it unfortunately. But they are two very famous, attractive Chinese actors, and one of them was in a censored BL that notoriously got cancelled halfway through airing. And the DMBJ series is known for bromance and has a big shipping crowd, so I'm not really surprised so many people are shipping them, despite them being adopted brothers ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ I don't really agree with it though, but I knew it was inevitable.
Ahh yes, the feeling of deep depression on screen. I too have many times, wished to dissolve into sweet oblivion's…
That's one of the main reasons I don't really watch BL and MUCH prefer things like this and The Untamed; because I'm not a fan of s#x/NC scenes at all; it doesn't matter if the romance is straight or what ๐ So Wu is right up my alley. And I hope Sky and Nani will continue to do projects together, because they're great.
I'm devastated too ๐ญ And I couldn't agree more with you! It especially sucks that they cut the reunion hug!…
Yeah, we probably won't ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ Oh and I'm sure that's the case too, if social media is all over a drama. And Bright Time was so good ๐ฅน Definitely up there with my favorites too.
I'm devastated too ๐ญ And I couldn't agree more with you! It especially sucks that they cut the reunion hug!…
Oh, I had a funny feeling it was that one. Actually, there was more to that story from what I heard. Apparently, the main reason they were extra strict someone had made an edit on social media of the two MLs kissing, and that's what mainly triggered the government to make them cut more scenes. The really good bromance drama, Bright Time ,came out in 2024 and the two MLs hug multiple times throughout the show, their bond is super sweet, and that passed censorship ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
Yeah, if they both died together - I mean, I would be super sad, but would also have the potential to be beautiful at the same time ๐ญ
We at least know with the trailers and clips shown, they will team up again at least once before the end of the series, so at least there's that ...
It's still a great show, definitely worth checking out, but it's not BL, just (more of a brotherly IMO) bromance ๐
Yeah, and you're probably right with that. And they probably got extra paranoid with censorship because of that ๐๐
But people will ship almost anything regardless, so it's not like they can stop that anyway ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
Yeah, I'll just continue to watch the show as is and cope with BTS footage ๐ญ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
