A new trailer for it was released about a month or two ago, so I don't think it was cancelled 😊 Don't know when it will release though.

Haixia already "died" alone once...that would be VERY cruel of the creators to do that again to us, haha 😭🤦🏼‍♀️🙏🏼I swear some of the most engrossing Cdramas are the ones that give me Ctrauma 🤦🏼‍♀️😑

I saw the clip with the mentor, but not Haixia 😭😭 Well, I'm not surprised...I just don't want him to die alone; let him die in his brother's arms or something at like that at least 😭

I know it's going to be a while before this one is out, but I'm SO excited for it! What a goated cast and a very solid director behind it all!

It's so heartbreaking to see 😭 I'm thinking by now there's no way these two guys can have a happy ending. If it has to be bad, at least let it be beautifully tragic 😭😭

Same 😭 I'm kind of obsessed with their bond as well. Platonic bonds like theirs just hit differently for me than most anything romantic.

Haixia dies in the middle of the novel. But in the show, it's a fake death, and he eventually gets revived. I haven't read the novel, but that's what I've heard from people who have read it. Other than that, I don't know how closely the show is following the novel now. Probably relatively different, since Haixia didn't die 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm loving it! Finally something that got me out of my Cdrama drought. It starts off a little clunky in the first two episodes, but episode 3 and beyond are🤌🏼👍🏼 Go watch it and see how you like it!

It was a censored adaptation, like The Untamed and Word of Honor. But technically yes 😆

BL is still not allowed to air in Mainland China. The censorship laws haven't changed at all. I don't really watch BL, but from what I understand, the BLs they're making with Chinese actors, they're able to skirt around the law by producing them with companies outside of China - like from Thailand and Singapore. I think a lot of them aren't filmed in China either? At any rate, they can't legally air in China, just on international streaming platforms, but I'm sure plenty of Chinese fans use VPNs and watch them anyway, haha.

The horse riding scene I'm sure was shortened, but it wasn't cut completely; It's in episode 18 👍🏼

It isn't BL. That's why it's so frustrating. They're like pretty like brothers anyway.

I think one of the reasons they did it was because this show is part of a big IP and big name actors are in it. And Zhang Xincheng was in the censored BL Justice in the Dark. The one that got pulled off TV networks while it was still airing.

I also think certain fans of this show didn't help with posting BL like edits before it even aired. But I'm guessing that happens with other bromance shows too, so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

So upsetting 😡 Especially the reunion hug that we were robbed of in episode 16...of all the scenes to cut 😭

There were two more scenes not in the post: a flashback of them riding a bike together, and then one of them eating at a marketplace.

The one of Haixia hugging Hailou; that's from episode 7 when Haixia was hallucinating, and it did have a hug, but illusion Hailou changed into Haixia - so Haixia was hugging a version of himself in that moment (although maybe they changed it to be that way because of censorship, who knows🤷🏼‍♀️)

He dies in the middle of the novel. We don't know his fate for sure in the drama yet, although I have a feeling he will, judging by how the story is going 😞

Going into this show I thought it would be just fun action adventure drama w ith a ML dynamic duo and light on the angst and sadness...well it has lots of fun moments, but it's not light on the angst or sadness 😭🤦🏼‍♀️😆
