Finally, someone who understands what I mean! TT

Thank you so much for saying this! Everyone experiences a drama and its characters differently, and that’s completely okay. ❤️

It’s a prequel part of the same universe
Yeah, I agree with you. I wish TTEOTM had at least gotten a second season or a special episode. Thanks anyway!

So it’s not set in the past but in the future, that’s even better 😂 I’m really curious to know who they’ll cast. Have you read the novel? Does it have a happy ending, or are we going to cry our eyes out again like with TTEOTM?

Title Fangs of Fortune Spoiler
Ying Lei's death was the hardest for me to accept. It felt meaningless because all they needed to do was tell…
You’re right, Ying Lei’s death had a ridiculous reason, but that’s not exactly what I meant by the sacrifices being ‘meaningless.’ My point is that when someone sacrifices themselves for another, the whole goal is for that person to live. But when that person doesn’t survive, and the one who sacrificed themselves dies too, it just makes that initial sacrifice feel futile. I have a general issue with this concept. Otherwise, it’s clear that GJM (who is also the screenwriter) forced tragedy into the drama through all these deaths and sacrifices—and, to be fair, they were somewhat successful at it

Political drama and little romance here and there
I see, thanks. Btw, your profile pic is quite funny. Which drama does it belong to? 😂

This is rude! I was defending Ai Mi here before you started the drama, and now I’m just asking a question and you’re telling others not to answer me?
If someone isn’t interested, why would they even want to hear opinions without spoilers? And why would they ask a question in the first place?

Title Fangs of Fortune Spoiler
This drama is full of sacrifices that turned out to be meaningless. I really don’t like this kind of sacrifice.

For example, Ying Lei sacrificed himself to save Bai Jiu, but then Bai Jiu sacrificed himself to save Zhuo Yi Chen. So, Ying Lei’s sacrifice became meaningless.

Or take Fei, who sacrificed himself to save Qing Geng, and then Qing Geng sacrificed herself to save Zhuo Yi Chen. So, was Fei’s sacrifice for nothing?

Or consider Ao Yin, who sacrificed herself to save Li Lun, and then Li Lun sacrificed himself to save Zhao Yuan Zhou. So, what happened to Ao Yin’s sacrifice? On top of that, Zhao Yuan Zhou also sacrificed himself to save everyone in the world. So, did Li Lun sacrifice himself in vain to save him?

Sacrifice should have meaning; it should mean that the person you died for gets to live and continue their life. Everyone sacrificed themselves for each other so much that I didn’t even know who I was supposed to grieve for anymore
We could lie to ourselves and say that everyone sacrificed themselves for a ‘greater good,’ but honestly, is this amount of tragedy really necessary? In the end, it’s just you and me left to cry together.

About the romance, since Ai Mi was underage, then romance isn’t the main theme of this drama? cuz I just love the romance genre

I like the OST of this drama more than Fangs of Fortune, even though it gets more praise. Overall, I like this…
I get what you mean. I like the plot too, but I just wish he wrote better endings

Title Till the End of the Moon Spoiler
How is the ending
The ending is sad; the ML sacrifices himself. However, the novel’s ending is actually happy, because after his sacrifice, he gets reincarnated. That’s why I want a season 2 that shows that happy ending

But if you haven’t started it yet, please don’t let the sad ending scare you off! This drama is honestly one of the best of all time. It’s really worth watching, give it a chance
