I admit, her voice is nice. But Iām honestly exhausted from hearing it in every single drama I watch. Fated Hearts, Yummy Yummy Yummy, Ashes to Crown, Till the End of the Moon and now The Blossoms of Power and Key to the Phonix Heartāitās everywhere. The way she speak has become a bit⦠over-the-top/affected. I canāt get the faces of the characters from her previous dramas out of my head because of this voice! China, Please, stop dubbing every single drama!!! šššš
So itās not set in the past but in the future, thatās even better š Iām really curious to know who theyāll cast. Have you read the novel? Does it have a happy ending, or are we going to cry our eyes out again like with TTEOTM?
Ying Lei's death was the hardest for me to accept. It felt meaningless because all they needed to do was tell…
Youāre right, Ying Leiās death had a ridiculous reason, but thatās not exactly what I meant by the sacrifices being āmeaningless.ā My point is that when someone sacrifices themselves for another, the whole goal is for that person to live. But when that person doesnāt survive, and the one who sacrificed themselves dies too, it just makes that initial sacrifice feel futile. I have a general issue with this concept. Otherwise, itās clear that GJM (who is also the screenwriter) forced tragedy into the drama through all these deaths and sacrificesāand, to be fair, they were somewhat successful at it
This is rude! I was defending Ai Mi here before you started the drama, and now Iām just asking a question and youāre telling others not to answer me? If someone isnāt interested, why would they even want to hear opinions without spoilers? And why would they ask a question in the first place?
This drama is full of sacrifices that turned out to be meaningless. I really donāt like this kind of sacrifice.
For example, Ying Lei sacrificed himself to save Bai Jiu, but then Bai Jiu sacrificed himself to save Zhuo Yi Chen. So, Ying Leiās sacrifice became meaningless.
Or take Fei, who sacrificed himself to save Qing Geng, and then Qing Geng sacrificed herself to save Zhuo Yi Chen. So, was Feiās sacrifice for nothing?
Or consider Ao Yin, who sacrificed herself to save Li Lun, and then Li Lun sacrificed himself to save Zhao Yuan Zhou. So, what happened to Ao Yinās sacrifice? On top of that, Zhao Yuan Zhou also sacrificed himself to save everyone in the world. So, did Li Lun sacrifice himself in vain to save him?
Sacrifice should have meaning; it should mean that the person you died for gets to live and continue their life. Everyone sacrificed themselves for each other so much that I didnāt even know who I was supposed to grieve for anymore We could lie to ourselves and say that everyone sacrificed themselves for a āgreater good,ā but honestly, is this amount of tragedy really necessary? In the end, itās just you and me left to cry together.

Thank you so much for saying this! Everyone experiences a drama and its characters differently, and thatās completely okay. ā¤ļø
