Honestly, I don’t really believe in love at first sight. To me, it feels like something that’s mostly based on physical appearance. I believe love comes from truly getting to know someone, just like Jiayu fell for Wuyi after she got to know him better.

I’m on episode 23, and I can feel the chemistry between them, which I like. I also like both of the main leads. But honestly, I still don’t understand why they fell in love. Hou Minghao is really good at showing love through his eyes, and I can feel his emotions, but I still don’t really get why his character fell for the FL. On the other hand, I can understand why the FL would fall for the ML, but I don’t think Ai Mi portrayed that development convincingly enough.
I’m also confused about when exactly the FL moved on from the SML and became ready to fall for the ML. For like 15 episodes or even more, all she kept saying was “A Mao, A Mao,” so it feels strange that she suddenly got over him and started seeing the ML differently.

And honestly, I’m starting to get a little tired of the story too. Everything feels dragged out, and I really wish the drama had focused more on the romance. Episode 21 also suddenly had a time skip, For a second, I seriously thought I was watching a special episode or some kind of extra, because I couldn’t connect it to the previous episodes.

Honestly, I really wish they had waited. I’m so used to his real voice after watching so many of his other dramas, and it’s just not the same. His facial expressions really only match his own voice

I admit, her voice is nice. But I’m honestly exhausted from hearing it in every single drama I watch. Fated Hearts, Yummy Yummy Yummy, Ashes to Crown,
Till the End of the Moon and now The Blossoms of Power and Key to the Phonix Heart—it’s everywhere. The way she speak has become a bit… over-the-top/affected. I can’t get the faces of the characters from her previous dramas out of my head because of this voice! China, Please, stop dubbing every single drama!!! 😭😭😭😭
