The beginning of EP 22 made me pity Hu Zibo, Hu Cheng pushed him to what he became now. But he is an adult so he is responsible for his actions irrespective of the cause.
Watching EP 21 and I did not expect that twist. Hu Cheng offending every one left and right. And he created a person who does not care about morals in Hu Zibo...
Watching Later, I laughed was an absolute delight. I laughed so much, and the moments of humor were perfectly balanced with heartfelt themes. The intro song immediately set the tone for the series, and I loved it. The stand-up comedy segments were a highlight, especially Xu Yun Feng’s hilarious attempt—definitely one of my favorite scenes.
The cast was phenomenal, bringing depth and authenticity to their characters. The series also gave me a memorable quote: "Highlights might be attractive, but our life is filled with awkward silences. Happiness and satisfaction are just momentary. Loneliness, frustration, awkwardness, and disappointment always stay with us." It’s rare for a drama to deliver humor while also touching on such profound truths about life.
The open ending stayed true to the drama’s theme. We don’t know if she wins or not, but that’s beside the point. What truly matters is that she found the right way to live her life. Regardless of who Wu Xiyua ends up with, I believe she will make the decision that feels right for her. While some viewers might have preferred everything to tie up neatly, I appreciate the realism of what we got.
This drama had me bursting into laughter even as I thought back on certain scenes. It’s one of those series that I know I’ll miss—but it’s also one I’d gladly rewatch. Later, I laughed left me with both a smile and a deeper appreciation for life’s messiness, and that’s what makes it unforgettable.
Hu Cheng being hit left and right made me feel a little bit sorry for him but when I remembered what he did. I am like he deserves it. He had it coming... I wonder why the friend left??
