i loved her. i think she has the most chemistry with liu yunning of all the leads he played with. she is so beautiful…
I totally agree! You can also see offscreen, they're always laughing and messing around. Comedy wise these guys were just perfect together! Some of the comedic scenes in the beginning were so funny I was crying with laughter.
People are complaining non stop on every platform. It's exhausting...
Yeah! It's on Viki live comments. I sometimes turn them on to see what people are saying, but I'm keeping them off now because they're just going on and on about her.
I think it’s just that many ppl want to be fed the same ole stuff. When something new and different comes, they’re…
I agree! The comedy scenes in this drama are spot on. So funny. Also, as a seasoned C drama watcher, them playing with all these cliches is just fantastic.
It's wonderful, I liked it much more than Prisoner of Beauty.
Prisoner of Beauty started really strong and it felt very authentic and mature, but it became repetitive towards the middle, and the support characters were pretty cliche.

I'm shocked by how much criticism Li Yitong is getting. She's such a talented actress and made me cry with laughter. The comments on Viki are brutal where I think she's the comic highlight of the show. Also, a lot of people seem to be missing the point that when she's acting all cute it is supposed to be cringe. That's why it's so funny. It's making fun of this cutesy style of acting making it really extreme. Every time she starts using that voice I crack up. Especially the little whimpers lmao.
Also, I think this aired way too soon after Prisoner of Beauty. People are comparing the two when they are completely different genres. This is a satirical comedy, not a melodrama.
These lists always favour the actors of dramas that have just finished airing. Liu Yuning has been very active…
Personally, I think his height is what gives him his edge in the looks department because the Asian industry are suckers for tall men lol. Personally I don't find him that good looking, but looks are really irrelevant to me when someone is a talented actor and has real presence. Lee Jae Wook for example really blew me away in Dear Hongrang and his looks are not my style, but his whole presence and energy in DHR was just amazing. To me personally, Liu Yuning for me is not that great. Apart from his stiff acting, I really don't like his speaking voice. It's a bit whiny and lispy. And a powerful, clear and charismatic voice and being well spoken is so important for an actor. Of course, his singing voice is quite a different matter. Listen, I can tell you like him a lot, but sorry I do not agree.

Many people confuse good looks with talent... But there are also actors who are very good at playing a specific type of role, but every role is the same or very similar. It's rare you get very versatile actors who can seem vastly different in each role...
Is every new voter just voting Liu Yu Ning and Song Zu Er? The votes gap between them and others is getting more…
These lists always favour the actors of dramas that have just finished airing. Liu Yuning has been very active lately, lots of his dramas out, but Prisoner of Beauty with Liu Yuning and Song Zu'er got a lot of attention and acclaim. (Started strong, got more mediocre as the drama progressed). Personally I think LYN is one of the most overrated lead actors around right now. He's done a lot of great OSTs though.
The most powerful scene in this drama is the one where ML's mother waits at home with the poison and hears someone…
This is the scene that makes it so clear why RJH can't just defect. If it wasn't for his parents, he would never have gone back. I always imagine him defecting as soon as they pass away.
Ratings are often untrustworthy... They have a lot to do with hype, idol and fan clubs. I've seen fantastic dramas…
I just watched the Youthful Glory, it's not bad except for a couple of very annoying story arcs for the FL, but they are followed by much better storylines. The FL character is not written well, but most of all, her acting is so poor with a few exceptions of scenes where she aced it.
I'm also looking forward to Flourished Peony P2, but I will wait till it's finished airing. I will definitely watch Legend of the Female General for Cheng Lei, the ML, but I can't stand the FL... But always hopeful that she will pull off a great performance like Yu Shuxin in My Journey!
Next on my agenda is Legend of Zang Hai. I will probably start it today.
Last night I returned to an old favourite Crash Landing on You for some comfort watching.
