Will one of the actors be dubbed or how do these collaborations work? Personally I can't stand dubbing...
Have you watched What Comes After Love? It was in Korean and Japanese. The FL learned to speak Japanese for the drama, so it could be that Ji Chang Wook plans to do the same. Or maybe the Japanese FL will be speaking Korean?
Chemistry in Snowfall? What? They were like father and child. It was super weird.
I watched Snowfall. It started well, but the FL matured backwards and became more and more childish, hopping and skipping around like a 5 year old. She was more like his ward.
Man i rewatched this drama like million times 😭🥹😍 can we have another drama with Dilraba and Gao Wei…
Hard same. It would be interesting how different their chemistry might be since Dilraba is older and more mature now. I would love to see another production of them, but in my heart they will forever be Fengjiu and Donghua.
The male lead could easily play her father and the white hair is the cherry on top. Let me excuse myself before…
White hair is common in C dramaland for MLs. Donghua was born with white hair. As for their ages, it's not that big of an age gap, and they definitely don't have a parent child relationship.
I tried really, really, hard but I just can't finish this for some reason. I get sleepy mid-episode so many times.…
The first arc when she's very young is slow. When I rewatch it, I usually skip to when things start getting interesting like Bai Qian's wedding when Fengjiu meets Donghua as herself for the first time after the mortal arc.
why the rating suddenly dropped?? I thought I should watch this drama after it's finish airing
There is a point halfway through when the writer seemingly forgets the leads and they just stop appearing. The romance doesn't develop. Lots of meaningless subplots from support characters. It's just bad writing.
Oh the rating went down. Anyone who recommends or not? Should I watch this? I've seen somewhere that there was…
The first part is really good, but then it seemingly forgets about the main leads entirely and goes off on tangents about 2nd and 3rd couples storyline. The ML has become a minor support character that you see for a scene once every 2-3 episodes. The romance between the leads never really develops.
The drama started off really well — the first twelve episodes were engaging and full of energy. But then, it…
100% agree. Cheng Yi has been typecast, and I'm sure he has more to offer as an actor. He needs a new studio and more variety in casting so he can stretch his acting muscles.
I've just got halfway through the drama but it seems to be going in an unsatisfying direction and the romance isn't going anywhere. I dropped both of the prequels, but I had higher hopes for this drama because of the casting.
I'm up to episode 18. Some of this writing doesn't make sense. So they locked WQFG up to make him stronger, but as soon as he gets stronger, they want to cripple him even in the face of a dangerous enemy. Completely illogical. I'm not really feeling any chemistry between the leads so far, but it's still quite a watchable drama.
wow. i cant help but laugh at this rating? 7.6???!😂 i knew from the trailer that it wasnt gonna be good, but…
I started with low expectations because of reviews and the trailer, but I'm watching it right now, and I think it's one of the better K dramas from 2025... I haven't finished it so I might still change my mind, but so far, it's incredibly underrated seems to me.
This is one of those dramas that has everything that should make it fun and exciting but somehow fails to be either. It's missing that something special that sucks you in.
I know people like Arthur Chen in this drama, but I just rewatched Lighter and Princess, and the difference is…
I agree. I've seen much better performances from Chen Feiyu. I think he may have taken the stiffness of his character too far, but his eyes just looked dead at times.
You didn't watch the post-credits extra scene on the last episode, did you?
It's not ill fated. They had a happy ending. The reason they put the extra scene in the credit scene is probably because the drama was cut from 40 episodes to 38, so they had to find a way around the cuts to give us a satisfying ending.
The romance between the leads never really develops.
