Can anyone tell me if Kim Hye Yoon's acting is similar to what she did in Extraordinary You? I couldn't stand her character/performance in that drama and have been struggling with her since. Not trying to start a debate but would like to know if I should bother watching this drama at all or skip it.
Well I think I can decide for myself if I need to reply or not, but thank you very much. I chose to reply because your comment is one of the most recent ones, making it more likely for people to see it. This means that your spoiler can still ruin it for many people, not just the person that already told you about it and that you chose to ignore anyway. That 1 person said this:
> @Winter no, you are mistaken, I've just finished the first part not the second. I'm not asking for something difficult, just respect towards other people who don't want to get a spoiler
So at this point I am not sure what to tell you except maybe read before you tell others that they are making things up?
You are being entitled and self-centered. Loa and I did tell you to use the spoiler option, on 2 different occasions. We also proved that people were using the comment section even if they didn't complete the show (read the comment section and you will literraly see it). Like what else do you need to take 10 seconds and add the spoiler option to that first comment? You find this hilarious but I actually find this situation really sad. And if you find it hilarious to have a chance to ruin it for others I am not sure what else we can do to change your mind.
I have seen the show so it's not like it's going to affect me, but it can affect others. Now you can call me an idiot or hypocrite, but the truth is you are being disrespectful to others. Even more by implying they deserve it if they came here before watching it.
Also it appears your comment has been removed, not sure if it was your doing but this is my reply to it to avoid any confusion. Your original message: https://i.imgur.com/kAcyOaj.png
Right so I am being an idiot after proving you that people actually are coming to the comment section without completing the show. And now you feel the need to insult others instead of correcting your mistake after being proven wrong.
You had a like on your comment right after posting it. Either way this does no matter as you could have hundred of likes this would not change the reality of the situation.
I will say it again to make it more clear: - You shared a spoiler in the comment section and chose not to use the spoiler option to prevent others from seeing it - Someone nicely pointed it out and instead of editing your comment you chose to leave it that way while arguing with that person - That user did confirm that others including herself were using the comment section without completing it. This alone should be enough to change anyone's mind unless their ego is so important they disregard their opinion - I showed up to tell you the same thing, and referring to other people's comment in that same page, where you can verify it yourself - You are now calling me an idiot for proving you wrong and you believe you are somehow in the right?
Look I am not here to educate you, it takes less time to edit your comment and add the proper spoiler option compared to argue and insult different members of the community you chose to be part of.
You really are something aren't you. Check the comments yourself and you will notice that people are asking if they should be watching this. Again stop being so self-centered, you just have to edit your first comment FFS. Also liking your own comments doesn't make your take more valid yikes.
There is a spoiler feature for a reason, it's not difficult to understand and out of respect for others you should be using it regardless of their reason to check the comments. Many people check the comments before starting a show to see if it's worth watching, same with second parts and second seasons.
Don't be so entitled and self-centered and use the feature that was implemented to prevent ruining it for other people.
I think it's more tricky than that. People who do commit suicide usually give up on life and leave the people…
They surely can't if they don't communicate with them. In the show it is clearly pointed out as the ML wasn't considering his girlfriend feelings and even misunderstood her. The result was that he took his decision (to break up) based on assumptions, while she could have helped him go through it if he actually tried to talk about his issues. How can you help someone who end up isolating himself and misjudging others. People shouldn't expect others to go out their ways or to go against them to help them. There is so much they can do to help them go through hard situations, and it can only work if they want to be helped. I do think it is unfair for the girlfriend who had to do deal with her own stuff, she always supported him even when he was working as a waiter (with the cowokers scene).
Now I can't talk about the whole show as I only watched 5 episodes. Still I am not entirely satisfied with many situations, some of the lives and scenes are also very cliché and are detrimental as well.
I don't know I feel like "ending your suffering" when you have people around you who are trying to help you... or who don't know what you are going through because you didn't even try to communciate with them is a bit selfish and unconsidering. If they are your family and friends and you are close to them, then you don't have any reason to exclude them. They are not only there for the good moments, but it can be difficult for people to put their ego aside and actually ask for help. He had reasons to live because he stated himself that walking with his girlfriend and holding her hand was already one good reason.
In the end it's not that there isn't any reason to continue, it's that he completely ignored that because he focused on the pain. Not mentioning his terrible decisions in investing in cryptos and stuff like that while it was already difficult. Agan I didn't see the whole show so it is a bit hard to discuss the whole story, but until episode 5 I felt like Death was trying to make him realize something more than actually punish him. Even though she can appear a bit sadistic at times, she made him go through all these different lives instead of putting him in hell right away haha.
IMHO 13 reasons why did an excellent job with the act itself and the damage done to the friends/family (when they found her and the way they learn about her reasons). It was more grounded than this one as well.
Still it is a different take that really focuses on "punishing" the person that did commit the act, to force that person to realize why it was wrong and selfish to do so. I don't think they were trying to say they did it for "shits and giggles" as they clearly show his life was difficult, and that the life of the student that did the same thing was also very difficult. But he did leave people behind, forgeting about them entirely, misunderstanding them even because of his insecurities.
It is also super tricky not to glorify or justify such act if you play the "victim" card too much. Like it would give them good reasons to do something like that instead of trying to look at it from a different angle (who is around you and cares about you, etc.).
Sigh, I am copying my comment from "The Glory".It's so unnecessary to make two entries of "Death's Game" on Mydramalist…
I understand when they do that for some shows (with different cast or stories) but for this one this one didn't need it. It's not that long either so it's not like they need to watch 16 episodes before watching season 2.
It's good in a way (actors, interesting lives etc), but I really hate the message they're trying to send with…
I think it's more tricky than that. People who do commit suicide usually give up on life and leave the people they care about behind. They stop thinking about them as well and how it will affect them. The show does show this aspect even if it's not done the best way as it is super focused on the damage on the mom and his girlfriend. They also try to blame the person that did commit suicide for giving up, and "punish" him to make him realize he was selfish in some aspects.
I do agree that it could have been better though, but it can be difficult without glorifying or justifying this act.
Very strange to tell people that they’re selfish and a bad person for committing suicide…
I think it is an unteresting take but it was a bit clumsy and superficial to do it that way. Yes it is usually very selfish to take your own life especially when we know that it is harder for the people that stay. In this situation his family and girlfriend are left behind and he didn't think they would care, he focused a lot on his condition while he had support or could have had even more support if he relied on them.
Still I agree that it is clumsy and could have been more profound.
last season was more fun but perhaps i was more invested in the players in this season, also the game isn't fair…
What they could do is actually pretty simple, all competitions across the world are done this way: one competition for men and one for women. You have two sides that can group up for some team matches so it makes it more interesting, and then they go back to a solo match each for the finals. This is the most fair way to represent both men and women imho, and you end up with two winners.
People are so excited about this series, they want a second season, but I sincerely do not understand and do not…
It is pretty ridiculous but that seems to be trending a lot lately. You will see a lot of action shows that do not make any sense but still manage to receive really high ratings.
I am not sure if it's because they didn't see that many, it doesn't matter too much imho. But the expectations and standards are extremely low storywise. Some of them will tell you that it is the type of content that you can enjoy while "turning your brain off". it just means they don't care much about the writting or the details as long as they are entertained. Since the majority believes it deserves such rating I am afraid we will just get more and more of that type of lazy content. They don't need to try that hard as long as they have some decent characters and cool over-the-top action scenes.
I had the same thought. Considering the pile of skeletons the ML landed on, does that mean the vents were purposely…
Oh I am actually the same and I have issues whenever the content I am watching and trying to get invested in isn't trying hard enough to make things credible. It sucks because I really believe it had the potential to be amazing.

Also I swear nobody is ever dying in this, this gets ridiculous by the end.
