I had the same thought. Considering the pile of skeletons the ML landed on, does that mean the vents were purposely…
This is just a part that does not make any sense and you shouldn't try to look too much into it. The inside was designed this way for the chase and cinematography. Same with the amount of corpses.
There is a lot to like in this, from the cast and great acting to the cinematography. Unfortunately the story isn't written very well and the CGI are inconsistent. It is filled with plotholes and most scenes are there to entertain you one way or another regardless of how nonsensical they are. Still if you enjoy "dumb" action shows this one is visually stunning for the most part, so you might have a good time.
"I hated this. Waste of time" but you rated it a 7 out of 10 🤔Plus it's not that surprising that you didn't…
Now about your questions, I am not sure if you are actually interested in getting some answers or my opinion on it. I watched the sjow a while ago so ot is not as fresh for me but I will try to answer the best I can since you asked so nicely. Keep in mind that you don't habe to agree with what I say or how it was depicted in the show, but not agreeing does not mean it was badly done or stupid. Min Ju's uncle helped because he wanted to have Min Ju back. The goal was to guide Jun Hee just enough while not influencing things for the worse. He was always a bit confused since he had to deal with different personalities stuck in the same body. But his goal was always to prevent Min Ju from being killed (which was their assumption). It was a bit tricky for him because he didn't habe much control on the situation and relied on Si Heon. He acted as a marker in time, someone and something (music store/coffee) that was familiar and that helped everyone finding their ways back to each other. They both failed with their plan but keep in mind they didn't have much knowledge or control on the situatons. They were walking on eggshells and were also affected by Jun Hee's reactions and their own emotions. Hard to tell about their exact plan though, they wanted Jun Hee to figure some stuff out step by step instead of focusing on what they had now (he was physically and mentally broken, a killer on the loose and Min Ju was dead). Like with many other time travel story, it is very tricky to change what happened just enough so you get the result you want without causing more damage. I can only recommend The Butterfly Effect (2004) which is a masterpiece imho.
About In Kyu, he was in love with Min Ju but felt ignored. He even confessed to her multiple times and she chose suicide instead of giving him a chance. Image how it must have been like for him to live with that weight, like he wasn't enough as a person. His love and affection weren't enough and despite everything he tried (and he tried a lot), she chose to end her life. He felt responsible for it, had no reason to keep going because he lost everything and wanted to punish himself for not being enough (it's common in Korean culture). It's a mix of depression and guilt, even though it wasn't his fault at all.
About the plane, this was the only way to keep the loop going and to get another chance and changing things for the "best" (from his point of view). This is also why his other self tried to convince him not to do it and to enjoy what they had instead, also Min Ju was still murdered and best buddy killed himself.
"I hated this. Waste of time" but you rated it a 7 out of 10 🤔Plus it's not that surprising that you didn't…
Skip this part and read my spoiler comment if you are only interested in the answers to your questions.
You are correct, everyone rates based on their preferences. But the moment you rate something anywhere you actually accept to use the system in place (here a 1 to 10 scale rating system). Your rating will be part of a whole and make an average, this means your rating and how you choose to rate will affect others. You are responsible (it's not a life or death situation) for taking part of it and how you use the established system. For example if I wanted to I could rate every drama a 1 out of 10 because I think Asian drama are bad compared to American shows, it would be my right and none of your business but it would also affect the average and the community in a bad way. My point is that instead of doing whatever you want the way you want, you can look at the bigger picture and think about your impact on others. Since your rating will affect the rest of the community, just like your "review" or opinion, this is my business and I have the right to challenge your opinion or how you rate content. Especially if you do it in a way that I believe is affecting the rest of the community in a bad way. In the end it's not about forcing you to do anything, but an attempt to make you look at things from a different perspective.
On Netflix, which is where the Drama was available, to fast forward you need to use the +10 (seconds) icon. This means that you are moving 10 seconds forward, litteraly skipping content that happened during these 10 seconds. If you use something else it will work in a similar way, skipping frames so you actually go to the next ones, that is an easy concept as well right? ;) The point I was making there is that you are ignoring content (frames, music, dialogues) while doing so. This will affect your opinion of the show regardless of if your brain can keep up with everything and process all these elements that you ignored. Considering how confused you were about certain plots this is the reason why I said that your confusion might be related to the way you watched the content. If you skip content then you increase the chances of being confused, another "easy concept".
Instead of letting your ego kick in and control your emotions, please take the time to read what has been said. There is no point in being condescending by saying what is or should be an "easy" concept. It's even detrimental because it will make you look bad and/or stupid and if I engaged in a conversation with you it was to get something beneficial for everyone (include you) out of it.
@lo_ve do we really need to add more fuel to the fire? Have we not learned from what happened to Lee Sun Kyun and how medias can affect the real lives of these people that we spend so much time scrutinizing? Maybe I misunderstood the "Drama" part in kisskh.
The acting is good but oh my God,, the story does notMake sense… Every decision the female lead makes just makes…
Done watching and it is a bit of a weird drama. So many characters are underused or don't even make sense. The FL is a perfect example, despite the actress delivering a good performance, she is badly written. A shame because the drama explores some powerful and mature themes.
The acting is good but oh my God,, the story does notMake sense… Every decision the female lead makes just makes…
I changed my mind on a few characters as the story unfolds but I agree on the FL. My main complaint (10 episodes in) is that she seems to be a completely different person later on. I don't think they handled this change well even though I understand why they wanted something easy to notice and real turn.
The episodes are about 30 to 40 minutes long so they are easy to watch compared to your usual 1h long episodes. I am not sure if there was enough to make it that long anyway as the story isn't particularly elaborated. Will see how things evolve from there, but I am a bit disappointed so far.
Lol it's not like anywhere else is much better tho
It depends what you mean by "the police". Do I think someone close to the investigation leaked information? Yes. Do I think the police department leaked it as a way to pressure him or influence the public in their favor? Not really. Whenever information is leaked from on going investigation, it is usually because someone that has access to the sensitive information decides to share it for any reason (it can be money) with a contact they have at the TV channel or newspaper. But this is not the same as an entire police department strategizing and trying to influence the public opinion. In the end it made people angry at the police more than anything as they felt like they weren't taking action against the manager (even though they already were) and were too focused on LSK. If the police already had the recording then they wouldn't need to confirm it was not fabricated.
I disagree and to me it is not just hearsay because it's based on the words of LSK himself. If you were investigating would you choose to believe that they just had a friendly relationship or would you consider instead that there may have been a lot more going on? Added to the fact that many information were already proven right and confirmed by LSK himself. Just because I consider it to be enough to dig doesn't mean that it is physical evidence or that it should be treated as such. It does not mean that I will believe everything the manager has to say as we already know she is very manipulative and most likely put him in this situation to blackmail him later on. All I am saying is that there is enough to consider it a possiblity. In the end it does not matter if it is true or not, because the doubt alone makes the situation worse for eveyrone (including his family).
I was referring to the medias and netizens persecuting him based on the information that leaked, not the police. The scandal was already a problem but the recodings and different elements made it even worse. I do agree on the police duty, but realitiscally this rarely matters as all medias and people will share it online or even build their own theories from it. This is why I said that unfortunately for him it added more fuel to the fire. Now if (and it's a big if) the police department did leak the recordings then it is a different story.
Apples and oranges as his internet history, porn history and toy/fetish did not leak. If you want to make a real comparison then we need to compare with what happened to him but I am not a public figure in any way. The police wouldn't need to leak these information to begin with so this comparison wouldn't necessarily work. Additionally you are once again assuming that they are definitely the ones that leaked the information and this is not what I consider to be the most realistic possiblity (not that it is not realistic or that I wouldn't consider it possible). The information that did leak are all connected to the case and do matter. It doesn't mean that it was ok to leak them to the public. Now all investigations that are caught in the public eye are manipulated by different sides. I am not saying he got a fair treatment in any way, he is a victim of the current politic that is targeting drugs and more specifically high profiles that are involved. If anything I believe that they shouldn't allow any news channel to release information on ongoing investigations and that they should punish the ones who do not respect it. This would prevent the police from leaking it (if they did) and/or anyone else.
Lol it's not like anywhere else is much better tho
You assume the police leaked the content to save face, but this is an assumption based on your personal opinion. There could be many ways a recording leaks without it being for that specific reason (and from other people too). Whether or not you are right about it doesn't change the fact that at this moment we don't have enough to state this is the truth.
I am not pretending to know what they meant, I am telling you that it wasn't just hearsay and that it is enough to assume there was more going on. Either way it seems the police had enough elements to conduct a 19h interrogation and to believe the manager was sharing some real details. They had to confront him about what they gathered from the manager and this is how you can dig and find out what the truth probably is. Would it have been enough to charge him? Hard to say. On one hand you can say there were negative tests and that there wasn't enough to put him in jail. On the other you can argue that he wouldn't have any reason to commit suicide following the leak of the last recording if he was actually innocent. During these 19h he also filed a report against his blackmailers, and follwing the last recording it appears a majority of people were calling the manager's out, not him.
Another interesting part was about his contract with his wife. Though it comes from the manager, she has no reason to lie about this specific detail and this is bringing more questions than answers. Additionally it appears Lee Sun Kyun's manager, not wife Jeon Hye Jin, called police to notify of disappearance. But most articles claim his wife actually made the call and that they were in love or whatever. Not that the detail matters, but if true it shows how all medias and people can end up believing a narrative that isn't true.
Regardless of if adultery is or no longer is considered a crime, it is enough to add to the whole story and for him to be persecuted by medias and netizens. The whole story is fishy and he got involved with the wrong people. Is he innocent? Probably not. Did he deserve to die? Not at all.
I don't know if the police did leak everything or anything at all, but it appears they were pushing hard to get some big names and that more important people are connected to this case. They do get pressured by the government and the medias as well, maybe it has nothing to do with being corrupted or saving face.
Lol it's not like anywhere else is much better tho
Clearly there wasn't enough to charge him yet, but this is also probably why they cooked him for so long. This also explains why so many people claim the police leaked intentionally the information as a result, putting pressure on him. We don't have any elements to prove it came from the police or that it was their intention, but is it conceivable? Sure.
About the affair, it is based on a leaked recording (end of november) where he is heard saying to the manager: ""나도 너 되게 좋아해" basically saying "I really like you too". So this is not just hersay and one could assume that there is more truth to her words as she was able to provide precise locations and details. Viagra was mentioned as part of the party cocktail though I don't think there is any proof that confirmed it so far, not that it matters much.
Lol it's not like anywhere else is much better tho
One of the issues is that he was far from being innoncent and the police didn't trust his words because of the information they received. The problem wasn't only about the drugs but also about the affair. It doesn't mean he deserved to be persecuted by the media, but the police had everything to justify interrogating him. Still 19h seems excessive, even though part of these 19h were about him reporting the blackmail situation.
That being said many people were actually supporting him, asking the police to let him go and to pursue the hostess/bar manager who actually tried to escape and had convictions prior the facts. Apparently she is also dating another artist at the moment so this is a mess, but she will probably go to jail because of the blackmail and drugs.
The Parliament should reflect on itself instead of entertainers. There's probably insane amount of immorality…
She is already part of an on going investigation. If anything the police either pressured her or offered a deal in exchange of these information. Either way I doubt she will get away with it.
Asking for a lie detector doesn't mean he was innocent in any way. He admitted to the usage of drugs but denied…
You seem very confused and defensive for reasons I don't understand. Nobody said he deserved to die or to be persecuted.
Drug isn't the only thing that made him commit suicide. The recordings incriminated him on the drugs (both the Ketamine and the Marijuana) and the extramarital affair. Considering the timing of the events, we could assume that after going through a 19h interrogation process, getting his phone recordings leaked was too much for him. It doesn't mean that he was guilty of consuming drugs on a regular basis.
It's not about being a "huge drug user", this is something South Korea takes very seriously, even more when celebrities or public figures are involved. He was aware of that at the moment he took part of whatever it was. The question was never about him being a huge drug user anyway. It is against the law and this is why he was being investigated, it is logical that the media would persecute him or even consider him guilty. Does that mean it's right or that anyone is ok with it? Absolutely not. But just because it is outrageous this is not going to prevent it from happening.
The police confirmed it and so did he by saying he was "tricked" into consuming drugs. The person that tricked him he also had an affair with (his own phone calls and texts prove it).
Nobody said he was a drug addict. The whole hair test is controversial and wasn't conclusive for several reasons. A hair test could detect the drug up to 90 days after your last use. He allegedly took drugs way before that. There was also an issue with some of his hair not being testable. There have been cases in the past where leg hair accurately detected drug use when head hair did not so this is important.
Again, nobody is saying that 1. he was a drug addict 2. he deserved to be persecuted and/or die
That being said there is no point in pretending that he didn't do any of the things that have been confirmed so far by either parties. This is still a tragedy and he deserved a second chance. There is a bigger debate on how these things are handled. Finally many believe that the police intentionally leaked information because there wasn't enough to charge him.

"Lee reportedly told the police that he snorted illicit drugs with a straw. The last questioning took place on Saturday. He was questioned for 19 hours. He said he was told later that the powder he snorted was a sedative by a hostess at a high-end bar in Seoul."
There is a recording that leaked yesterday and that is probably one of the reasons to his decision to commit suicide. If you snort or use a straw to do drugs (ketamine it appears) I doubt you can pretend you don't know what you're doing but this is another debate. The whole story is much more complex than it appears and than most people seem to know, though you can find many details around it online from reliable sources. While he may have been tricked into taking drugs (with the intention of blackmailing him), it doesn't change anything to the actual events. Whatever happened it shouldn't lead to him taking his own life.
Asking for a lie detector doesn't mean he was innocent in any way. He admitted to the usage of drugs but denied…
He confessed to the usage of drugs but said he didn't know it was illegal. Whether we believe his words or not doesn't change the fact it shouldn't have ended this way.

Asking for a lie detector doesn't mean he was innocent in any way. He admitted to the usage of drugs but denied doing it several times at the house of the hostess. Like everything the truth is in between, but either way this does not feel right. While he should be punished for his crime, he shouldn't be pressured to the point he feels he has no escape and ends up taking his own life.
The Korean police and judiciary system are a joke. He had already tested negative for drug use, so why was the…
He actually admitted to the usage of drug, and the investigation started based on her testimony. Considering how serious of a crime it is in South Korea, they had to keep going and make an example out of him. Since there was some truth to the words of the hostess, it also makes sense to investigate deeper and see what really happened.
While we can't blame the police for investigating, conducting a 19h interrogation is super extreme, especially for this crime. It's hard to imagine the damage it can do regardless of how guilty or innocent the person is, even more during holidays where you're supposed to spend time with your loved ones. Still this doesn't mean that investigations shouldn't be conducted during holidays or that a crime shouldn't be punished.
As I said they were going to make an example out of him anyway, but at this point it looks like they will make the wrong kind of example. It doesn't look good for anyone.
