It makes me teary to think that Keptawan who was raised in the countryside and probably hasn't had much exposure…
Hmmm...interesting. I'm a skeptical/cynical person and can be hard to convince but for whatever reason I did not find that offer to atone from whence came the rest of the story, to be unrealistic. I remember that the shooter's buddies had to shame him into doing something to help out Oak's character, and he was reluctant, but once he made contact if I recall correctly he was the one who went out of his way to keep coming back. And to me he did that because he took a shine to Oak almost immediately and it was a good feeling to be making amends for something he had done wrong. A feeling that was new to him, as he was kind of a street-thug kid without a home life. Yeah...I totally bought in. :)
They were SO cute and real in their eager shyness that I would tear up just from the feels. :D At the end when the cops pulled them over and I realized what was happening I was a wreck. In a good BL way.

Oak is a tremendous actor. What about NightTime did you find implausible? It is one of just a handful of BLs I have deliberately watched three times. Like all good shows, I find new things with every watch.
I found the uncut version of My Friendship online. Let me see if I can find that link for you. There's a shower scene and I don't remember if that's on YT or not but the subs mysteriously disappear during the shower. wtf? The "explicit" scene which doesn't NEED any subtitles...lol. But there again, and this is so stupid, it's not explicit at all other than that you can tell exactly what is going on by the way it was filmed and staged, not that you actually SEE anything that isn't completely pg-rated. Youtube is so uptight about sex. Graphic violence they're OK with, but let somebody make love and they'll kick your ass right off of there.
I like this show very much. It is a little quirky, which I like, and more than one of the characters are a little odd, which I like and it's not written, so far, out of the BL/Trope/Cliche playbook. Cute.
Most of their kisses are actually real. I think the one kiss scene that involved camera angles was the first kiss-…
Either way, the kisses have been terrible. This last one Bbomb kissed Jin just to the side of his lips and Jim's lips were hanging out in mid-air. I mean, where's the director? The kiss between Jin an that actress at the end of that horrendously bad play was also a mannequin-kiss.
It is perfectly-dubbed in English though and a fun, racy romp. Normally I prefer subtitles, but somehow the dubbing on this show is almost perfect. I hardly ever notice it.
Lol Elite? An example? Elite is trash since season 3. The last season is the worst.
Sunflower has MAJOR sex-related issues, it's true. Don't you love people who slam shows as garbage, but have obviously watched every minute of said programs? lol Someone is a frustrated hypocrite.
Elite rocks in general, although some of the stuff that goes down is pretty unlikely. lol Nitiman, on the other…
Wow. You are one intelligent, well-spoken (written?) woman! I salute you. :D Actually, my daughter is educating ME on this issue. I've long been all for women's equality and equal rights across the board, but this thing with the early conditioning to be subservient to the wants and desires of boys as a built-in feature of American culture is kind of new to me. It's too long a story to tell here, but our discussions stemmed from a conversation I had here on MDL with a commenter who claimed his female friend had been raped because some guy kept talking at her until she finally said "yes" to shut him up. You say "yes" out of weariness and then claim to have been raped? I thought saying "yes" was sort of the ultimate sign of consent and I still do, regardless of how you got to "yes." Anyway, my daughter agrees that the girl who said "yes" was not raped, but we talked a lot about how and why a woman could get to the place of saying "yes" rather than just telling the asshole to leave. It's an ongoing conversation and I still have much to learn.
I am only through four episodes of ELITE's fourth season so if you've seen the whole thing, don't spoil anything for me, OK? :) Oh by the way, I'm gay which is another reason I promote the equal opportunity sexual objectification of men...the male body is beautiful, as is the female's. Back to ELITE, I really miss Carla and the bossy chick who always wore the tiaras to school and was boffing her half-brother. lol I love that kind of twisted, envelope-pushing story-telling. And my god, the gay son of the new principal is unbelievably good-looking, but his looks are somehow accessible,. He doesn't put me off like many model-perfect beautiful men do, whose perfection is intimidating. This guy feels...real. He's sort of a jerk and totally into himself and more than a bit promiscuous, but hey, it's ELITE, right?

Hey, thanks for butting in. I love everything about your comment. Are you watching or have you already watched this fourth season of "Elite?" The girls' taking liberties with their uniforms has gotten super-extra slutty it seems, and there is no way that new hard-ass principal would allow it, especially from his own daughters. Of course, we see NONE of the guys walking around with their midriffs showing and their shirts tied up or completely unbuttoned down the front. lol It's always only the women who are objectified like that. Don't get me wrong; I'm all for sexual objectification. It's part of being human. But it is always the women, more than the men, who are objectified. I notice it a lot more now because I have two grown daughters and one of them and I have had several in-depth chats about how American culture conditions girls, at a very young age, to present themselves as sexual objects and generally be subservient to boys. She has really opened my eyes along those lines. So I just want to see equal objectification of the male body.
What I mainly don't like about the slutty girls uniforms thing is that it is so unrealistic that they would be allowed to dress that way. I find it distracting and it takes away from the authenticity of anything else that goes on. Though I suppose Elite is really just a fantasy sort of thing.
I wish Netflix had discussion boards for its shows. I'd love to chat with others about Elite. I think it used to have comment boards and places for viewer reviews but somehow it became a big problem and the ditched those.
For me, not that you asked, there is zero chemistry between Bbomb and Jin. That is one of ten thousand problems…
I enjoy bizarre, weird behavior in fictional stories, but yeah, the drugging of Bbomb was a whole other level of psycho. I didn't even take it seriously; it was so far out of left field I guess I pretended it never happened. And then again, it was another thing that led nowhere; Bbomb got a boner in bed with Jin, but that would have happened anyway when you're cuddling up against a guy's butt. lol Also, a true date-rape drug, if that's what they gave him, would have made him almost insane with the need to have sex; that's how that shit works. The libido goes off the charts. It's also very dangerous, as it can only be obtained illegally and you can't be sure exactly what or how much of something you're giving someone.
But just for argument's sake, for dramatic purposes, it could have been super intense and interesting if the drug had driven Bbomb over the edge into almost forcing himself on Jin, in which case Jin would have reacted extremely negatively and perhaps violently to protect himself. Then the "friends" would have to deal with the consequences of what they had done too. But as usual, with this show, the whole drug thing went nowhere.
I understand some of the negativity towards this series, but personally I've really enjoyed it. I knew nothing…
Fair enough. To each of us their own. :D In short, I see affection and tenderness coming from Bbomb only. Jin is so bossy and demanding of him, almost never says "thank you" or "please," just calls and orders Bbomb to take him here or there or bring him food. I find it really bizarre.
And that last few seconds of this episode, when Jin was suddenly sobbing in the parking lot out of nowhere...that too was bizarre.
you're weird, i'm not that into the show but sex aint all that is to relationships, also jin is good looking so…
"...basing your entire personality around sex..." lol Where do you get this shit, little bug? Go get laid, then come back and comment, ok? You should have at least a little bit of experience at what you feel so free to comment about.

I enjoy calling out stupid people who are afraid of sex, all hung up on it like old church ladies, afraid of what they're not getting. Even your name-calling is lame: weird, freak of nature, weird, crazy, weirdo, freak, hag...just no imagination at all. And of course you ignore my questions.
As far as sex goes, you probably shouldn't comment on things you haven't experienced and know nothing about.
