Wow, thanks for speaking my mind again for me, without all my smart-ass-ness. I felt exactly the same: started out LOVING it, then about episode 7 it started to go to shit. Have you seen the Japanese original? It's as though they repeated it here word-for-word, including all the crap that made no sense and went nowhere and was downright weird.

Your comment is a disaster of incoherence, in ANY language. I REPEAT MYSELF, and maybe you'll get it this time, nothing I wrote in my original comment indicated there needed to be explicit sex scenes included in the show, which is what you accused me of. But YES, all of the ISSUES regarding sex needed to be addressed in the script and none were. And despite what you are trying to imply with all your cute Internet-trendy-speak, you can tell a LOT about people by what they write and what they say. And you think sex is dirty and nasty; it makes you feel icky in your private places, and boys shouldn't be allowed to kiss on screen....those are YOUR problems, not mine. I can't tell if you're 13 or 103 years old. Either way, loosen up about sex, you'll have more fun.

Since English is your THIRD language, or so you say, maybe you should stop using it until you get a lot better at it. Like I said, the comment above is barely understandable.

For a show I accidentally stumbled across, and by average BL standards, this is actually quite good.

War as Best is a fine young actor. Lots of nuance and shades to his angst and his joy. He never over-acts and he's very charming without being at all showy about it. His two buddies are the best BL buds ever; I've teared up a few times just at their enthusiastic support and love for their friend, Best. The one guy distracting the girl to ask for math tutoring was hilarious.

I think War actually learned to play guitar for this, or already did, which is a first in BL Universe. Usually they putz around, obviously not playing as we get some poorly lip=synced over-music through the air.

Will the girl be evil or kind? Will she be gracious in defeat or go to war for the guy she had, to this point, obviously considered HERS? Either way, this show is a nice little surprise.

I also like that the main couple, while cute enough, are not model=drop-dead gorgeous. They look like average cute high school guys, which brings a lot of naturalism to the proceedings.

First of all, what the hell is a "black" series? If by any chance you meant "BL" series, then I thoroughly disagree with you. First of all, where did I say there needed to be an "18+ scene" in this or any other series? Oh, that's right: I NEVER said that. Did you know there is this weird thing they can do in dramas and comedies, where the plot/script lets you know that something has happened WITHOUT THAT SOMETHING HAVING TO BE SHOWN IN LIVE-ACTION ON THE SCREEN?

Furthermore, did you know that even G-rated movies and series show human beings kissing? Or is it only the queers you don't want to see kissing on screen? Oh, I'm sorry..."always" kissing. lol You are a real piece of work. I'm surprised you were able to bring yourself to write without your keyboard bursting into flames.

It's clear from your comment that you have major hang-ups about human sexuality. You think it's nasty, naughty, bad, shouldn't be seen or even referenced, let alone talked about, yada yada yada...yeah, yeah, whatever...prudes like you have been around since the beginning of time.

I love grandma, the character and the actress. She's wonderfully natural and not the crabby, nasty, hunched-over old crone we usually get in BLs.
Grandma the character is already picking out china patterns for Din and Than.
Din is breath-takingly beautiful. His face should be on Southeast Asian travel posters.
If the two hiding out in the city cut back on the back-scrubbing and the back-rubbing and the exchanging of flirtatious smiles, they might find some time to find these killers they're pretending to be after. I hope they don't, though. :)

Pretty bad acting all-round but the beautiful men are worth the time it takes to FF through scenes they're not in.

New candidate for the title of WEIRDEST BL/COMEDY EVER!

POSSIBLE SORT-OF SPOILERS BELOW:

OK, I admit it, even though it was bizarre and completely implausible and downright insulting with the plot holes and unanswered questions right down to the last second (that coda with Tin and SM at the very end was even strange), I cried for the last half hour. I like how the script just shamelessly went down the character list and checked off everyone as happy at the end. It's the list they could do after torturing me for the last 8 episodes.
Wouldn't Tin have noticed no one else was at the wedding?
In my mind, Darren and KK end up together, despite how the rooftop tease scene went.
LOVE Louis and Francesca! Somewhere along the line they became my favorite couple.
Don't know where TC found her butler, but bravo! (He's handsome too!)
Love TC's brother the comic/chef and what's her name from the office...perfect together.
As for Tin and SM...whatever. I cried, but what else is a person to do? So Tin chased down SM, declared his love, asked him to marry him and yet at the end as they pack to leave for Taiwan we discover that they still have not even really fucking kissed. Tin reacts to SM's refreshing freshness like a nun about to be ravished by barbarian invaders. Give me a break. He also claims all over the place how he has changed, yet we see at the end he has not changed at all, except for the smooch. It will probably take them five years to build up to f**king.

I think a great sequel to this series would be one in which KK, Darren, Tin, and SM spend time in a mental hospital where they all do therapy to pin down the reasons for all their bizarre behaviors and choices. In the same follow-up we could see how Francesca and Louis manage to have a set of twins, a boy and a girl! Hey, she's not THAT old. (Though another prime plot element never touched on was why KK and Francesca never had children). What's most sad is that all the straight couples became more engaging and important and made more sense than the primary (GAY? WHO KNOWS?) main couple. What a strange concoction this mess was.

Eh, who cares about them? I'm totally into SiQi and his coffee-man.

I'm glad someone mentioned that. The black gloves creeped me out and put me off seriously when I first tried this show. It just seemed odd and no reason was given until later, so I thought, "does he have artificial hands or something?" I kept thinking of old 1960s spy movies where everyone wore black leather gloves all the time, just to look mysterious and dangerous.

But isn't that the BL way? Hide from discussion/communication so as to draw out the angst and drama? Problem is, it gets old quickly and seems stupid almost immediately. I get that at times dramatic tension requires that problems/questions hang in the air, but then it is the writers' job to come up with plausible/believable reasons for that to happen. Hiding in the shower from the dude you share a house with isn't one of those.

Zhao Gang and SiQi are currently my reason for existence. One of the best BL couples of all time. There are obstacles, doubts, fears, jealousies, all that stuff, because they are human. But most of all there is LOVE. They talk about their shit, mainly because of the young and inexperienced SiQi, who is also very wise and brave. He, I think, is an old soul. He initiates discussion without being annoying. He just says what's on his mind. I do love these two together. I kind of care more about them than our mains. I would love to see a wedding. Zhao Gang just keeps getting more and more handsome somehow. He's a bit jaded, but he allows his SiQi in anyway...that's a type of bravery too.

The ex-BF from hell is one of those creepy-handsome people. There's something too squared-off/perfect about his face, as if he had plastic surgery even though he didn't need it and as a result he looks like a mannequin. Yuck.

I sort of agree...but I do NOT agree if you are saying that someone who cheats is never worthy of forgiveness or redemption; shit happens and we're all human. But the "it's just sex" excuse is bullshit.

Did I miss something or are you basing all this deduction on that one scene at the very beginning of the series? How would you know it was "just sex" just because the "just fucking this other guy in the butt" dude says so? lol "It was JUST sex" is the lamest excuse ever for cheating, at least in my opinion. To me, and call me old-fashioned, putting YOUR private parts inside the body of another person or vice-versa or some other combination of sexual congress, is not "JUST" anything. It is the most intimate possible thing two humans can do with each other? Also, I don't really want to be in a relationship or even be friends with people who think fucking is like a hand-shake and nothing more. Such people inevitably have psychological problems. "just sex," my ass.
