Title Nitiman
Jin said he broke up with her cause she cheated on him....and it seems like he just said it cause he was mad at…
hmmm...you're probably right about how he found out. But if he knew she was cheating why wouldn't he know who it was with?

If you're breaking up with your GF because she's cheating, why would you not mention that crucial fact when you dump her? "Hey, I know you're cheating on me, I don't like it or trust you anymore, so I'm dumping you" is not that hard to say. Why wouldn't he expect her to break up if she was already seeing someone else? Jin is more than a bit of a dim bulb.

Come to think of it, why does Bbomb like Jin? That's another aspect of this story that we were given no lead-up to or background on. Has he had his eye on him for some time already? Who knows? And other than having a cute face except when he's smiling, when he looks like he's about to take a dump, Jin doesn't seem to be all that interesting to me. Just my opinion of course.

End of episode 3, rewatch: Swooning. Stylistically, there are too many gorgeous moments and visuals to mention in a brief comment. Good god, this show is brimming with scenes that tempt me to pause the video and just roll around in the feels of it all, but I don't dare because I know there is another one coming a few minutes later and I can't wait to get there either. Whoever sees the word "BL" and thinks "subtlety?" Yet understatement is the norm here...which only makes each emotion conveyed ten times more intense for the quiet manner in which it is presented. I am definitely picking up on a lot more depth of what's going on this second time around, so the paper towels are getting a workout.

You'll know when you see it, but that stumbling, swaying, half-dance of cat-and-mouse on the beach is a masterpiece. This is BL Heaven and I'm a lucky angel. :D

End of episode 2, rewatch: For me, this really is the king of BL series. These two...wow. The portrayal of that early struggle with same-sex attraction/love is so spot-on as to what I felt myself in the same period of my life. Confusion, self-delusion, denial, spite, jealousy, deep affection, throbbing sexual energy, all of it set on a high simmer with the lid locked on tight and set to blow. Watching this I feel I'm 17 again, in all the good and bad ways. Damn, this is well-done.

End of episode 1, rewatch: This is every bit as beautifully done as I remember it. The acting, especially from the two leads, is a level above the best of what I've seen from other top-notch BLs. They feel like real people, not BL "types." The way emotions play across Teh's face when he's just looking at Oh-aew and saying nothing is profoundly affecting. When the two of them stood on that beach looking at each other, all the pain of their years-long estrangement and how deeply they'd missed each other flooding out into the open like a dam breaching, I completely lost it. I love these two characters and the fine actors playing them.

However...I had forgotten about the handsome, sweet and sincere Bas. What a beauty, inside and out. Naturally, the ship I've built for the two above is huge. Surely they can find room on board for Bas too. :)

I am about to watch this for the second time; first time was immediately after the last ep was posted and I binged it. I want to have it fresh in mind and heart before starting the sequel.

Rolls of paper towels at the ready for sobbing, cranberry iced tea and popcorn for refreshments, I'm all set to go. Hope it's as good as I remembering it being. I gave it a 9/10.

So why didn't he mention the alleged cheating to her at all? And how much sense does it make that he dumps his GF after deciding she is cheating based on a couple of pics he saw of her talking to some dude on the Internet while others gossiped about it? He didn't even bother to find out who he was or he would have known the guy is her cousin and not her BF! If he was supposed to seem to have really cared about her, the writing was super bad in that respect.

Good. Your type needs to be kept nervous.

Don't even remember if I've seen Kinematics Theory yet, but this is my second watch of this film. I'm only half way through but taking a break and will finish it tomorrow if I feel like it. Sometimes the characters' behaviors in gay-themed flicks just make me...sad. Not mad, not disgusted, not indignant or self-righteous, just...sad. Nan is a damaged, hurtful narcissist, Zhe is a passive/aggressive codependent, Chao or whatever his name is, is another seemingly mendacious sociopath, and on and on...these guys just do whatever, fuck whomever, hurt whomever is there to be done, fucked or hurt in the moment and none of it seems to mean much of anything one way or the other.

Is there much lower you can go than to do what Nan did at the anniversary party, right in your partner's face, holding hands with the bitch while, bizarrely, looking oh-so-concerned for your partner's feelings when obviously you are incapable of any such thing? Humiliating him in front of all your mutual friends and acquaintances?

Nan's strangely beautiful with a killer bod, but really? Aren't there OTHER hot gay men who aren't maybe quite as blank inside? Why would anyone ever trust him again as a partner or in any other area of life? And later, really?, you're having bareback sex with this promiscuous pig? Self-destructive much? Maybe I've had too much therapy and it's taken the capacity for melodrama out of my life, but after watching nearly an hour of this I'm thinking that's a really good, good thing.

I guess I blanked it out from the first watch, because I don't remember where this is going. Maybe they will all be killed together in a fiery road-rage incident involving multiple combinations of fuck-buddies ramming each other's cars in pretend fits of jealous rage, I don't know. That would seem fitting, as I don't really see anyone here much worth shedding tears over.

Ick. This is the kind of film that makes me question my existence as a gay person. Everyone seems so over everything except fucking, and then only for a few minutes. If they get cheated on, they might weep a little, but then they turn around and do it to someone else, apparently having learned nothing but how to hurt others. I guess that's the point, but do we need two hours of this shit to teach that old lesson? That wounded, shitty people shit on other wounded, shitty people? I already knew that.

lol What a strange, hilarious, oddball little flick, but I kind of enjoyed it. A parody of BL I suppose, but still I found the two goofball hotties at its core to be compelling.

Review Homo phobia
I ended up wondering if this movie was meant to be taken as a kind of farce/satire/comedic exaggeration of how some straight men PERCEIVE the attentions they may receive from gay men, rather than as a literal narrative of the main character's actual experiences. He went through a lot, but did you even start to wonder why he played along with these guys long past the point where a rational person would say "fuck, leave me the fuck alone or I'm calling the cops." Like the guy who couldn't keep his hands off him no matter where they went or were...surely that wasn't meant to be taken as the behavior of a real person; it was so over the top and silly and ridiculous. I began to wonder if the main character wasn't on some level enjoying the attentions and attempted seductions of these guys.

TWICE he drank himself shit-faced in the presence of a gay guy who he KNEW wanted to get him in the sack. Drunk to the point of incapacitation, leaving him wide-open for the kind of abuse that so predictably occurred. Why would someone who knew they had a low alcohol tolerance do that in a dicey situation, other than to open himself up to something he'd never let happen sober?

Weird/fun/well-acted/confusing/unclear/kind of bizarre/strange...many of the things I love in a film! I was hoping there would be more comments here to help me maybe get a handle on what this flick was really all about, but not so much I guess. The main actor was excellent, as were ALL the actors. I found the various sequences/scenes/scenarios well-directed/acted/amusing/interesting but it seemed like 2/3 of the way through things began to get repetitive to the point that I found myself growing impatient. Not at all sure what the writers/director were trying to say. I even wondered if the MC was imagining some of this bizarre shit. As homophobic as he claimed to be, he seemed to play along with these guys way past the point I would have put up with their supposedly unwanted attentions, and I'm gay. lol In other words, I began to wonder if he was enjoying the attention/getting off on being pursued and maybe didn't mind being forced to explore aspects of his sexuality he never would otherwise have dealt with.

I never really got an answer to that and then at the very end we get a voice-over wrap-up that seemed to contradict much of what we had just seen. Strange flick.

If I understood correctly ... the lame guy, from the beginning of the movie, had been beaten 2 years earlier along…
Without yet going back to confirm that is Tae Joon with a limp he meets at the beginning, when did TJ's leg injury take place? It does not occur in the rest of the flashback. He appears uninjured during all the messy stuff with Won Gyu during the flashback. ???

I ship Singh and Jack so much too! I think I am way more invested in them than the rest of the couples. Hope they…
At some point during the watch it occurred to me that they are shipping other male/male couples without judgement, but as of yet are completely unaware that they love each other. That's something I think really does happen in real life.

About Bbomb's beauty, since that's all we're talking about below anyway: It is not only that he is handsome as hell, it's that the handsomeness is so INTERESTING. To me, his face is made up of individual parts that by themselves aren't so great, but you put them together and by some kind of magic it all works exquisitely to form this...fascinating sculpture. PLUS, he also has that "X-Factor" that is so hard to put into words. An aura, a presence of being, sensuality, charisma...that other equally attractive performers lack and are therefore less interesting and magnetic.

Some of the biggest movie stars around the world are not necessarily the most classically handsome or beautiful, but there's something about them that attracts both men and women and commands their attention.

Noh's got it. Jin, with that soft/pretty face, doesn't.

End of Ep. 3:

So many extremely handsome young guys to drool over, if nothing else...wow.

The whole thing is kind of low-energy. There are numerous plot elements that seem random. Like Jin dumping what's-her-name in the first five minutes but then acting distraught as though HE had been dumped and then seeking out Bbomb and accusing him of stealing his GF? wtf? Ummm...Jin, you dumped HER.

Everyone was pretty much gay/gay friendly from the first five minutes so there's zero dramatic tension about any coming-out or worrying about the reaction of friends. I'm mean everyone is shipping everyone else already so it's just a matter of who ends up boffing who, right?

Unfortunately, to me, Jin and the actor portraying him are the weak link here. Low-energy as referenced above. He doesn't seem authentically athletic either. Bbomb on the other hand, is a Thai Greek God. :).

I'm shipping Singh and his buddy in a major way. As many have already commented, Keam seems to have a hankering for everyone, male or female, which is interesting.

After three eps the plot seems pretty much laid out and I can't imagine what we're going to be doing for nine more hours of this. I mean, come on, it's just a matter of time before Jin's legs are in the air with my Bbomb between them. But for some reason I don't dislike it enough to stop watching, at least at this point.

Wow. Stumbled across this completely by chance on someone's best BL/Gay shows here on MDL.

Easily one of the strangest, most original, wonderful, captivating films I have seen in my entire and very long life. Just excellent, off the charts awesome in my book. A very dark Steampunk fairy tale. Acting, direction, sets, visual effects, costumes, EVERYTHING is top-notch. Just wow.

9.5 from me. Highly recommended to those who like weird shit, well-done.
