He's underage to appear in pornography: which this is not!
I don't think you need to be 18 to consent to a fucking smooch in a fictional series or film.

I like the series but is it just me or I think it's a bit disturbing about the kiss scene? I know they are young…
oh my god...are you serious? You do know that 17 year-olds kiss all the time, right? I kissed a girl who was my leading lady in an Operetta in third grade. We kissed. On the lips. Oh my god, the humanity! The perversion! The horror! That girl and I weren't even PAID to do it, while Pi is a paid actor. Jesus...

I didn’t want their first kiss to be like this. I feel bad for Pi. Their first kiss should have been in a private…
That will come soon enough. The fact that he thought he was giving his first kiss to Nam while he was actually kissing Mork is hilarious and Shakesperean in nature. By far the best ep since the first.

Those "bl Yaoi fans" are mad, but the production is worse, to give validation to first take a photo and than second…
For fuck's sake, the script is MOCKING the shippers and making them look as ridiculous as they are in real life. It's both hilarious and sad that you're too uptight in your self-righteousness to see that. YOU must stop watching BLs.
Replying to KittyKatze Apr 30, 2021
You do know that no one is forcing you to watch this, right?
Why DO you keep watching?
Replying to J100 Apr 30, 2021
It's pisses me off that they give validation for taking photos without any permission and on top of that post…
It pisses me off that YOU have no sense of humor and are blind to the fact that the shippers in this show are an extreme, exaggerated PARODY of real-life fujoshis. Can you really not see that? They are MOCKING shippers and fujoshis and you are unable to enjoy it because there is a huge stick up your ass. The shippers were given "the right" to take and post pics by the writers and director of the show, see how that works? They are making fun of and criticizing the people who do such things in real life. Do you actually think this episode presented shippers as people to be admired and emulated? lol

This episode is trash.
Ummm...you're nuts. It was the best episode so far, by far. laughed the entire time.
Replying to Harshita Apr 30, 2021
Agreed. It wasn't funny. I was so uncomfortable watching that scene and cringed.Apart from this, the show is damn…
It's good that your type was uncomfortable. You're exactly who the show-makers were aiming to "offend. Your "offense" is part of the joke.
Replying to Jessica Brown Apr 30, 2021
Is that really considered cultural appropriation? I feel like people call cultural appropriation too much. I think…
You can't say it was funny, which it was, because it is OFFENSIVE or...something.. lol
Replying to 274710 Apr 30, 2021
The cultural appropriation was not needed at all. It's cringy.
Your stick-up-the-ass, SJW reaction is what's cringy and ever so predictable. I said in my first comment above that the usual commenters would be screaming "cultural appropriation" in reaction to the hilarious Indian disguise scene. It's sad you have no sense of humor and live to be offended.

i agree! as an indian person i was offended. it happens so often, i'm just tired of it. at this point, the worst…
Oh please...seriously, lighten up and enjoy life a little. I haven't seen an Indian/Sikh/whatever scene like this in maybe my whole entire, long life. All this crap about what the show-makers are saying, that that's "all India is about," is in your head and nowhere else.

I'm an American of German descent. Ever since I was a little kid i have seen stereotypical/humorous/comical representations of German Nazi behavior and stupidity during WW II, and I have laughed my ass off. I went to a Lutheran church and parochial school here in the U.S. as a kid and was frequently called a "Kraut" because of it. I laughed along with the name-callers and no one made a big deal out of it.

But by all means enjoy your delicious opportunity to be offended.

I don't know what shows/movies/production company series you watch, but I haven't seen an Indian Siekh/Punjabi bit like this in...forever. What are you talking about?

It was funny as hell and I give gmmtv great credit for their willingness to go there.

Regarding the “funny Indian moments” or whatever those were, just let Indian people decide how they feel about…
I'm not Indian and I don't speak on anyone's behalf but my own. The Indian Sikh moments were funny as hell and part of the humor comes from the fact that Gmmtv was willing to go there despite the predictable reaction of the SJW crowd.

Actually, has ANYONE here claimed to be speaking on behalf of the Indian people? Or are you sort of warning people to shut up pre-emptively. Just asking, of course, with all due sincerity and respect.

I know people hate the shippers but they are just trolling how some people act in real life. I bet Phuwin and…
The shipper/fujoshis (is there a male equivalent name of "fujoshi?) are hysterically funny, an obvious parody. Anybody who whines about their presence in the story needs to get a life and a sense of humor and take the broom stick out of their ass.

This episode was 100% better than the last. Nearly laughed my ass off. If the hilarious bit with the Indian Siekh disguises had been done here in the U.S., the SJW, PC-psycho crowd would be going nuts about disrespect, cultural appropriation, stereotypes, etc. and how deeply offended they are. When in reality the Siekh bit was hysterically funny.

But wait...I haven't read comments yet...perhaps the SJWs ARE out in force! Let's see, shall we...?

Duean's screech-voice when he's annoyed is way funny. I love his character. He's such an idiot but fully confident of his awesomeness. And he IS kind of awesome, actually.

Pi gets cuter and cuter as he begins to catch on to Mork's feelings for him. Great episode.
On Make It Live: On the Beach Apr 30, 2021
Perhaps, beginning with the final beach scene, the best, sweetest, most uplifting ending possible to one of the worst special-episode/reunion/sequels in BL history. Which is, unfortunately, saying a lot.

Terrible script, hated those statement/insert thingies, terrible direction, nothing really happened, both characters were made into super-annoying versions of their former selves, the chemistry they had in the first two MIRs is gone or severely damaged, etc. This was just...awful. I say that as someone with great affection for both seasons of MIR the series. Boom is one of my favorite BL actors. So freaking cute/sexy in such a quiet/unassuming way. I hope they gave him a really big paycheck. The real star of this disaster were Boom's legs. :D
On Make It Live: On the Beach Apr 29, 2021
I really enjoyed MIR the series. I've watched just one episode of this follow-up and so far pretty disappointed. I adore Tee and I'm good with Fuse, but the chemistry they had in MIR seems strained or kind of absent here. Do people who are in love and consider themselves a couple really meet after a long separation and act toward each other like these two did? Where's the desperate, loving hug upon meeting? Where's the kissing? We basically get some awkward flirtations and a weirdly asexual double-bath, followed by a stupid mannequin-kiss in the sunset. I mean, you could actually see them leaning in together while keeping their torsos apart and the camera panning to make sure we didn't see any actual lip-on-lip contact.

After TWO seasons of MIR and a couple of years to mature, these actors aren't comfortable enough with each other or committed enough to their characters and story to actually show some passion and affection? The director should be shot.

In the first two seasons of MIR Tee always exhibited this quiet reserve which I found intriguing. It seemed he was often deeply thinking/considering whatever situation he was in...he never acted rashly (well, except for that first season/first episode boinking of Fuse, lol) and after that incident seemed deeply aware of and considerate of whatever Fuse or anyone else was feeling. Now in this first episode that same reserve just comes off to me as indifference or even slight annoyance.

Those graphic inserts on a blank screen of thoughts that Fuse and Tee are supposedly having are so telling...the director apparently chose to add those because there is no way to tell from the actors' interactions that any of those thoughts are being had. Maybe this will get better, I certainly hope so, but this first episode is a real downer.

Title Rebirth Spoiler
It was good, but I could have done with a more clear ending. Like was he still with the Queen (Chang Qin)? Or…
Looked to me as if at the very end the prince and Long Yang rode off together into the night on that horse. So score one for the gay boys! Also, when Prince Yu and the evil bride were beginning to go for the sex action, it seemed to me that the Prince was either passed out or was extremely indifferent, to the point of laying there with his eyes closed like a dead man.

Title Rebirth
I don't really get the need for these strange, sex-less, antiseptic historical BLs to exist, but since they do exist regardless of what I think about it, I went ahead and gave this a 7. I enjoyed the gorgeous sets, costumes, makeup and hairstyles just as a visual (except for that one princess hairdo that looked like a dried-up wasp nest drooping to one side), and Prince Yu and his "Long" Yang were handsome and adorable. Plus, when all was said and done, the ending was as it should be. :D

Those palace women are some hard-core bitches, man.

Oh, and I've no idea how Long Yang managed to endure endless whipping, branding and othertortures for days on end without ever losing the ability to stand upright in his chains. ;D

Oh and also, why do so many Asian characters leave their clothes on to go swimming in places they should be skinny-dipping?
