It's pisses me off that they give validation for taking photos without any permission and on top of that post…
wow, did you just equate taking pictures without permission with being fucking RAPED?

Your humor is not my humor mainly because you are clearly lacking in any humor at all. Seek help. And stop watching BLs. Fujoshis and other shippers are a staple of BL. They are what made BL a thing.

Photos = rape. Wow.

For fuck's sake, the script is MOCKING the shippers and making them look as ridiculous as they are in real life.…
Yes, they know what they are doing, and those over-the-top fujoshi/shipper characters are mocking their real-life counterparts. If you can't see that, it's your loss, not mine.

i agree! as an indian person i was offended. it happens so often, i'm just tired of it. at this point, the worst…
Nor does the world revolve around YOU and your sensitivities, that's kind of the whole point here. Go ahead, be offended. No one cares and the episode will be just as funny with or without you liking it.

It's amusing that you imagine me to be "angry." lol Must be those delicate feelings of yours in overdrive again.

Again,, you do NOT speak for all Indians, Sikhs, POC, Indonesians, humans, frogs, beetles or fireflies. You speak only for YOU.

I DON'T CARE that you're offended. I don't care when anyone like you is offended, regardless of their race or country of origin. You exist to be offended. It is your favorite thing. It is all equally irrelevant to me. If art conformed itself to the wishes of your type of person, there would be very little art.

I didn't assume anything about your sexuality. Me being gay does not imply ANYTHING about your sexuality. wtf are you even on about? But if I WERE to assume your sexuality, it would be uptight-sexual, regardless of orientation. You don't seem like you'd be much fun in the sack. Someone might touch you somewhere or moan in a tone that offended you.

No one mocked you, Indians, Sikhs, or anyone other than the dorks in the scene in question. But by all means go on pretending they did so that you can diddle your outrage to the fullest extent possible. Were there some rude jokes about Indians in the episode that I missed? Please fill me in, if so. Thanks!

No one else can invalidate your feelings. They are YOURS, after all and if they are valid to you, then they are valid to you. There is no requirement, however, that other people have the same opinion as you as to the validity of your feelings or what it is you have feelings about. Grow up and quit pretending to be so ultra-sensitive.

I'm gay. If I were like you, I'd spend all my time rolling around on the ground having seizures, given that there are about 42 million gay jokes/insults being spoken around the world at any given moment. lol Get a grip.

This is going to be fun:
Why do I need to be Indian to have an opinion on anything having to do with this discussion? Would the issue be any different if the gang of idiots had dressed up as Native Americans? Buddhist Monks? Russian peasants of the 19th century? Swedish Astronauts? The principle remains the same regardless of what those dorks costumed themselves as. I guess it's too much to ask for you to understand this, but it's a fact.

Anything I post on this board is your business and anything you post on this board is my business. If you want to post on a private board to complain about your feelings, set one up on Reddit or something. We're not here to "validate" feelings. lol

I don't care who you claim to be here, I have no way of knowing if any of it's true so spare me your tales of victimization. Don't lecture me on what a Sikh is or anything else, I have google too. Oh you poor baby, there are just NO movies or series on the face of the earth you can watch in which your alleged people are not mocked. It must be hard for you.

To repeat: doesn't matter if any of your sob-stories are true or false, I stand by the right of an artist of any kind to mock or insult or say or write or draw or sing or act whatever they want to. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Write the makers of this series and try to get it shut down. Do whatever you want. In the end, you're just another SJW seeking to control and censor the artistic output of other people. And also in the end, you will always lose.

STOP WATCHING.

Carry on.

Then you're doing it wrong.

I've read all of these comments. What's your point? One of them said they liked the Sikh scene, and one of them said that unless you're a Sikh,, they don't care what you think. Which is exactly what I said: I don't care what they think either. And the show-makers have every right to mock whomever they choose. In this case they were mocking stupid Thai boys. OMG! THEY ARE MOCKING ALL THAI BOYS!!!!! SHUT DOWN THIS PRODUCTION IMMEDIATELY!

Since you're not responding to my comments with anything coherent, I'll leave it here.

First of all, how do I know they are Indian? How many alleged Indians here were NOT offended? Have you taken a survey and figured out the percentages? You have no idea.

Regardless of that, the terms of my position on this do not change because some people say they are offended. It doesn't matter to me if they are offended. They can stop watching the show. People can say all kinds of things offend them. Does that mean we shut down all movies/theatre/music/books/poetry/art/design because someone somewhere in the world is offended by something in them? To me the answer is clearly no, we do not.

Your alleged Indian friends can say whatever they want; it's their right to feel however they choose. And then if they're honest about it, they can stop watching and quit looking for excuses to bitch about their tender feelings.

I am ethnically German and grew up being called a "Kraut" (as in Sauerkraut, the German side dish) among my small-town friends because I went to a German Lutheran Church and parochial school, as a result of WW ii and Nazi Germany. So what? Who cares? It was a joke, it was funny, and I didn't care. Tell your buddies who claim to be Indians to get over themselves and stop watching this series.

They'll be among the .002% of the audience who do so.

Even if all of what you present is true, how does that make showing in a fictional series that a given group of dudes are complete morons, as indicated by the fact that they dressed up as Indian Sikhs-in Thailand no less-with obviously fake beards and the rest as part of a moronic plan to help their buddy out, do anything to hurt the Sikh population?

Are you suggesting that people who see this episode of this BL will take away from it that Indian Sikhs are bad people because some idiots dressed up as them, and as a result go out and look for Indian Sikhs to abuse and discriminate against? Is that how YOUR brain works? Or are you just looking for something to be offended about today?

I've read here and elsewhere that many Indian watchers of this program are finding the Sikh imposter scene to be hilarious. Do you claim to speak for them? Do you know better than they do what they should deem offensive?

You are a parody of an SJW. Stop watching this show immediately, in protest of the series' horribly offensive and epic, negative portrayal of Sikhs. It's the only right thing to do.

LOL. This kind of ignorant comment was entirely predictable too. When in desperate need of supporting material for your losing position, always first accuse or imply that those who disagree with you are racist, homophobic, misogynistic, etc.

Please do share your deeply thought-out philosophy on how dressing up as an Indian Sikh is the equivalent of wearing blackface. Also please share your thoughts on whether it is EVER permissible to dress up and/or don makeup to play or portray or imagine oneself to be a person of any ethnicity other than that which is precisely your own. Under what conditions would doing that be OK, if any?

I'm eager to be educated and enlightened by your musings on this matter, so I look forward to your reply.

Great comment, except maybe for that last paragraph. Why do gay relationships have to be presented in only one context, the struggle for identity and rights? That's one aspect of our existence but it's far from the only one. I'm not a woman or a girl and I watch tons of BLs, as do you and many other men. I'm frequently titillated by BL content. Why is that assumed to be a bad thing, Why is it a bad thing if some women and girls are titillated by it. Many straight men are titillated by Lesbian porn. So what? Human sexuality is complex and fluid and I'm all for all of it.

The "joke" was funny as hell to the vast majority of the audience, or at least to those who don't walk around with two-by-fours up their asses.
